I visited this location of Wendy's on a Friday morning to eat some lunch. 1. This was a good place…read moreto take a pit stop for eating, 2. I like the chain itself, and 3. The location was reasonable. Restrooms: Cleaner than your average restaurant restroom. Other than a few cracks in various places, nice room to tackle your #1 and #2 trips. Please note that they have only 1 stall. Employees/Service: Relatively kind, helpful employees who truly care. Wait not like some more popular restaurants. Food: Fresh beef patty; delicious, chewy fries. However, there are a few problems: they added lettuce when I didn't ask for it, and also, THEY OVERCHARGED ME for just a PATTY! The amount I paid for it was for the price of a CHEESEBURGER. If you eat a patty by itself, I don't recommend this location. But nonetheless, it's satisfying food. Cleanliness: Only a few tables were unclean. Mostly clean tables, floors appear to be well-tended to. The verdict: AWESOME Wendy's location, benefits outweigh the problems, and recommended. Enjoy!

Sure, BBQ is what they are known for, but the catfish fillets and fried shrimp platter is quite tasty. Comes with fries and a salad or you can sub with another side if you want. It will take a little while because they fry everything fresh. Nothing sits under a heat lamp! If you just happen to be passing through my hometown of the big city of Bastrop, do yourself a favor and stop here for some tender ribs or chicken. And their BBQ sausage will make you bite your fingers off!! Locally owned and the folks are extremely nice!

The sausage was mushy, guessing because it's left on the hotline all day. Nothing had a smoked flavor. Again, I'd guess it starts on a smoker, but finished mostly in an oven. Chicken was way overcooked. Beans were ok, and potato salad was very basic, and mostly mashed potato texture. Got the biggest plate they have, but they forgot to put the pork in the box, so don't know how it is.

They have everything you need to build a basic burrito or bowl. I also love that they have a sauce and toppings station where you can grab whatever you want yourself. I noticed they also have a bar area, so if you're into it, they serve alcohol too! The place is clean, the workers are friendly, and the service was great. This will definitely become one of my regular spots!

Whenever we don't know what to eat and are too lazy to cook, this is one of our go-to places. The food is always steaming hot and fresh, and everything is flavorful and delicious. I especially love their butter chicken and goat soup. They also have dessert and fresh fruit, which is always nice to have with the buffet! The place is a bit small, so it can get pretty congested around the buffet area since it's tucked into a small corner. I hope they can find a way to improve that because it can get a little crowded when there are a lot of people. My must-order every time I come here is the Mango Lassi. It's basically a mango yogurt smoothie that's sweet, tangy, and creamy. I love it! It might not be the best lassi I've ever had, but they make a pretty good one. Definitely recommend checking them out, especially if you're looking for a good buffet!
