Followed a recommendation from a local resident. This fried chicken restaurant is on Texas St in Natchitoches. There was a line for the drive thru backed into the street. It's worth the wait. The prices are reasonable. The portions are usually for a fast food restaurant. The chicken is crispy and juicy. The dirty rice has the flavor of sausage more so than liver; which was a HUGE hit with my family. Also had a side of jalapeños which went perfectly with the chicken. We will be back! read more

The fried chicken is freshly cooked and crispy. It has just enough spice to give it a little kick. It is not greasy at all. We had the red beans, fries and mashed potatoes. All were very tasty. This was some of the best fried chicken that I have had. Highly recommend. read more

Fast service. Massive quantities of pre-cooked fried chicken is sitting there under a heat lamp just waiting for you to order some. Chicken not bad - heavy, oily coating has a nice little kick to it. This place has the best fried chicken I have ever eaten. No too breaded, not too greasy. It's perfectly seasoned and had the best crisp/crunch combo. The chicken is never dry and I am always FLOORED by the affordability of this place. All the sides are soo good they're hard to choose from, but when in LA you must order RBAR (red beans and rice). I've always been a Popeyes girl but I have to say I'm becoming a big fan of Classics. I've had take out twice now and both times the chicken was hot and fresh and delicious ! The mash potatoes and gravy were great! Really love the gravy! Also, had the slaw and is was good. Don't normally eat slaw but it was ordered for others in my party and I tried it and liked it; it was fresh. We found our selves here on the way home from Destin Fl , my daughter had to use the restroom so we pulled over fast. We stopped here because we ended up on a one way and decided to just stop because we were all hungry. I'm glad we did the chicken was hot and fresh. We all got tenders with fries and red beans and rice it was all great! The bun was no good, it was pretty much a Hawaiian roll. But the freshness of the chicken made up for it. This place have good chicken when certain managers work . other nights they give you old chicken that's been sitting up there for an hour or so. Especially on weekend when they wanna go home early . you get old chicken! And customer service is terrible and gets worse everyday . owner just wants to make money doesn't care enough about the customers to have a customer service number . read more
