WARNING- Not sure if this was coincidental, but we found 3 instances of things inside the food and drinks today. The miso carbonara had a corner-like plastic in the noodles, one bubble tea had another black curly plastic (not pictured) that my son removed from his mouth, then another bubble tea had a small ROCK inside. I almost couldn't believe the rock as drinks are sealed, but after the 2 plastics we were looking at everything very closely. Sure enough, one off looking "boba" was a small rock, I fished it out with a spoon. We ordered everything to go, as we live far I didn't want to drive back to Silverdale to show management. A little confusing when you initially walk in, it's three different businesses. My dad and I tried Appa's (I know, fitting) and got hwaedupbap and bibimbap. The hwaedupbap fish and greens were super fresh and the bibimbap was everything I needed on a cold day! We ate as much as we could and still had some to share with the family as a peace offering. Both were under $20. Service was so sweet, the lady that helped us apologized for hitting the chair next to us. Just glad she's okay! Can't wait to come back and try the noodle shop next! read more

I have mixed feelings about Pop Up Kitchen and I feel bad about it. I have to eat mostly plant based due to medical reasons and there are zero options here for me. The first time I came I had the Gochujang Tomato Cream and they subbed tofu for shrimp (which I'm super allergic to) in my pasta. It was amazing, but when I ordered it again they came back and told me they would not make it and refunded me. So I got to watch my family eat. Even the tofu curry bowl has fish flakes, which is fine if you aren't plant based. The boba is solid, but to my knowledge there are no milk alternatives. I could be wrong. My family loves the Bibimbap, Ddukbokki, and Bulgogi Yubu Chobap.So if you have no dietary restrictions this place is a solid 4 stars. Why not 5? The atmosphere, the noisy cafeteria vibe is not my jam. Tables are often left not bussed and that's not helpful when the place is often packed and you want to dine in. As for the service, it's fast and once again great if you have no restrictions. If you do have allergies or dietary needs I would not recommend. If Pop-Up Kitchen ever adds a vegan / vegetarian friendly dish or two I will be back. read more

We really like Peter and his son Patrick, everyone else there seems to be very hard workers. Food is amazing and we went a couple of times already. Can't wait to try some more things on the menu, they really are the best place around for their style and Korean food. We loved this spot. It's so nice to have restaurants set up like a food hall. We had the spicy beef rib soup, beef bulgogi fries, pork bibimbap, and an Oreo shake. Service was quick and friendly. read more

Food is amazing, The atmosphere is like a mini food court but not tacky? My new hang out spot. Unfortunately not really a place for studying so if you need to you'll have to use your phone hot spot for your laptop. The chefs are very attentive. Finish your food or they'll think there was something wrong with it!! Haha my friend and I were having a long conversation and after 4 hours of us sitting around we had food left over that we forgot to ask for a box for. Mind you we ordered much more than we were left with but I love how attentive they were. Korean food, Italian-Asian fusion, and it's connected to peters kitchen. The food isn't bad but I wouldn't say amazing. I ordered the wings and their Bibimbap! The wings were okay, way too salty. The Bibimbap was good! I would have loved more veggies and meats but got an overload of rice. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by the large selection of foods and drink from the multiple origins (Korean, Japanese, Filipino, Hawaiian, etc.) The prices were excellent and the staff friendly and inviting. I was happy to find my long lost Korean Chicken and garlic fried rice which is scarce in Kitsap County. I only give it 2 stars for one reason: I don't understand why they have the shared entrance between both restaurants, but yet, you can't eat food in one from the other. If you don't want us eating on the other side, then why have an opening between both restaurants?? One, it's confusing And two, annoying. Came here for dinner because we have heard great things and boy was it a let down. Kimchi pasta with overcooked udon. An odd combo of creamy cheese sauce with sour kimchi. Tan tan pasta was watery. Garlic butter Karaage smelled of garlic but didn't taste like it, karaage was 5 whole chicken thighs, that didnt taste much like karaage. Large portions of bland food. Not a fan of Pop Up Style. If you like to order and pay at separate stalls in a loud cafeteria style setting this is the place for you. I ordered from the Hawaiian food area and had to do "take out" in order to sit with family in the main area. Insulting to be prompted to pay a tip when there is no table setting, service, etc. No comment on the food because it was ruined eating out of styrofoam a 1/2 hour after everyone else. My daughter ordered a side of rice with her meal (which we paid extra for) and we were later told the gal at the register was new and this would not be allowed in the future. (?!?) There are plenty of other local places that have good food and are more welcoming and that's where we are headed next time. read more

Went to the pop-up kitchen last night thinking I was going to have a roasted chicken in my curry chicken with rice but instead I've gotten a lot of chicken like five or six pieces of chicken deep fried the only drawback is I'm not into fried food so with my review the chicken was too greasy but the curry and the rice had a wonderful flavor. This is my first time visiting from out of town if the chicken wasn't so deep fried why I didn't have to take the batter and skin off to me it would have been a wonderful dinner.
