There is zero selection. The female employee that I ran into was plain rude. Just find what you want online or at another shop.

Let me just say I love this Hobby Lobby store! I had never even heard of this chain before but…read morewhile at Clackamas promenade running errands since all of Multnomah County is still in Pandemic lockdown, I walked past this store and being a crafter, had to check it out. I was not disappointed! The store is quite large and filled with items in so many categories. There are silk plants and flowers and a myriad if vessels. Planters and vases. Fir the artist, there are colored pencils, markers, paints, brushes, easels and canvas. In the back are frames if many styles and sizes plus you can custom frame your art. I always like perusing the seasonal section of craft stores and Hobby Lobby has a huge area dedicated to all things summer. Vibrant colored melamine dishes and serving pieces for your patio or garden. Plastic glasses, serving trays, bbq tools and so much more! Lots if fun and whimsical items too. I picked up a pack colorful 5" toothpicks perfect for appetizer platters during these pandemic times. Also grabbed some whimsical dish towels. Lots and lots of modern country and an entire aisle filled with every kind of lantirn and style you can imagine. They also carry a vast assortment of outdoor cushions and pillows made with sun protected fabrics for your patio and garden. The pillows came in so many vibrant colors, patterns and even shapes. I fell in love with a rattan pillow with 2 parrots on the front. Darn, if only it matched my décor. I was able to find a navy blue and white geometric pillow perfect for the Chase on my balcony I was pleasantly surprised to find so many home décor items. They were organized throughout the store on kiosks by style. For beachy and cozy cottage décor; modern farmhiuse; mid century modern; teen decor; and even an entire display of every kind of pink flamingo one would want - if pink flamingos are your thing!!! Passing the shelves loaded with glass vases, I noticed a short round vase with a silver band around the top, the perfect mid century modern vase for fresh flowers, perfect for style. Even better since it was on sale for $4.99! It immediately went into my shopping basket. So for a random first time visit into this store, I ended up with an assortment of items that I never knew I needed, but absolutely had to have. Will definitely keep this store in mind any time I'm in the Clackamas area. It is always worth a run through.

Yesterday I had a deeply upsetting experience at the Clackamas Hobby Lobby. My husband dropped me…read moreoff while he ran to Costco nearby. I came in for seed beads and was carrying a small canvas tote purchased from this Hobby Lobby years ago, which I used as my shopping basket. Since COVID, I've regularly used reusable shopping bags while shopping instead of a basket, a common habit that has never been an issue at this store or any other.Within minutes, a large man began watching me closely, staring intently in my direction. As I wasn't doing anything suspicious or unusual, I continued shopping for beads, wandered through the party decor aisle for ideas for a baby shower I'm hosting next month, looked at floral materials for fall wreaths, and then seasonal decor, placing items in my tote just as I would a shopping basket. Eventually, I exceeded its capacity and picked up a hand basket from the front of the store. As I shopped, the man continued following me, staying nearby and narrating my movements over the phone. Throughout this experience I was never sure whether he actually worked there or was just another shopper with no boundaries. While waiting for my husband to return in the seasonal decor aisle we'd planned to look at together, I overheard the man say he had video of me and that someone should be waiting outside when I left. He'd been talking loudly about my movements for some time, but at that moment there was no more rationalizing it as my imagination. The comment about video took it from unsettling to unsafe. I took his photo too, as I felt openly threatened. When I confronted him, he loudly claimed he had watched me fill my "purse" with merchandise and ordered me to leave the store. For clarity, I was carrying a canvas shopping tote to hold my items in the store and a small crossbody sling bag was my actual purse. I'm posting a photo of the tote and the approximately $45 worth of items I selected so people can judge for themselves. Nothing about my shopping behavior was secretive.Thankfully, my husband arrived during the confrontation and witnessed the interaction.I was so upset that I left the store and went to the truck while he paid for the items I had selected. He wanted me to abandon them, but after all of this I couldn't bear to leave without my trinkets.Afterward, my husband spoke with co-manager Alyssa, who said I had been concealing merchandise in my purse but declined to discuss the situation further because she had not witnessed the incident. The plainclothes security officer refused to provide me his name but later told my husband it was Chris Kelly. My husband tried to explain that this was a training opportunity, but neither seemed receptive.Notably, the uniformed Clackamas Promenade security officer at the front of the store, whom I had spoken with earlier while retrieving a hand basket, apologized to me during the confrontation. While I was attempting to explain what had happened, and my husband was trying to calmly lower the temperature of the conversation, the plainclothes man continued loudly arguing that I had "concealed merchandise" and that "it's a private business." The contrast was striking: the only person who appeared concerned about how I was being treated was not the person accusing me.What bothers me most is not that a misunderstanding may have occurred. It's how it was handled. I was followed for nearly an hour, publicly accused of theft, and treated like a criminal without anyone first attempting a respectful conversation. As a woman shopping alone, the experience was especially unsettling. Being intensely monitored for nearly an hour by a large man felt intimidating and creepy. I was never sure whether he actually worked for the store. By the end of the encounter, I wasn't just humiliated by a false accusation, I genuinely felt unsafe.Despite everything, my husband and I still purchased the approximately $45 in merchandise I had selected. Looking back, I wish we hadn't.This experience ensured I will never shop at this store again. The plainclothes security officer immediately escalated the situation, showed no recognition that he may have misunderstood what he was seeing, and lacked the judgment and professionalism expected in that role. Only the uniformed security officer remained calm and showed concern for how I was being treated.Women shopping alone should be aware of the possibility of this kind of treatment at the Clackamas Hobby Lobby.

The staff has always taken the time to greet me as I walk in, take a look at my RC car and help me figure out what's wrong and tell me exactly what I need to do or in some cases even show me what to do. I've had such a positive experience every time I've been here! They recently (June 2024) added some fun tracks in the back for customers to use! You can also rent the cars to use back there if you don't have your own. A suspended obstacle course, a drift track and a couple other tracks. If you are into rc cars, or have someone in the family who is, this is definitely a place for you to try out!

Now there is a shelf about half full of the same modes. Nothing to choose from that's good quality models. And the paint section has been bare since at least January of this year. It's like none of the paints or cements or primers have been replaced with new stock. I drove a half hour just to get some paints for my model car I bought, and it is very disappointing. Bare shelves, nothing getting restocked. I'm done going there. I have spent a lot of money at that store in the past, now it's just a ghost of its former self. Better off going to hobby lobby or just Amazon.

Waited a few days and finally got an offer on my cards. Offer was ridiculously low. I said no thanks, I'll come get my cards. As soon as I said I wasn't interested Steve was rude over the phone. Tried arguing with me about the value of the cards, their condition, etc. I told him I wasn't interested in arguing and would simply come get my cards. Went in an hour later and Lo and behold, some were missing. I mentioned this to Steve. I noticed his hands were obviously shaking. As soon as I said something about the missing cards he got extremely defensive. He acted like I had accused him directly (which I did not, I understand mistakes sometimes happen). He then tried to escalate the situation, raising his voice in the crowded store and yelling at me in front of dozens of people. It was Friday night, they were hosting a game night. Steve continued to yell at me, even as I walked out. Unprofessionalism, cards disappearing, and insultingly low offers seem to be par for the course, judging by the reviews. I'll be going to Guardian Games from now on.
