Energy Shack makes eating healthy easier. I haven't tried any of the programs yet, but in the future I would love to consult with a nutritionist. They offer free consultations. Staff is very friendly and I love seeing the staff working together as a team. There's lots of options to choose from in terms of the juices and I love the small details such as how information regarding the benefits of each is added next to the description of the ingredients. I really enjoyed the Japanese Fried Rice and my favorite drink was the Aloha Omega. It was refreshing and the taste of the mango & coconut cream was strong (which I loved!) I'm looking forward to try more in the future.

Carolyn, the owner, is a qualified dietitian/nutritionist, who would be guiding people to pursue healthy vegan eating as per their dietary needs. It could be for detoxification, weight-loss, thyroid etc etc. She is an enthusiastic professional. During the event, Carolyn could find time to speak to every guests present at the event and explain the concept, gave us some really good tips, which we would not know otherwise. We also tried a lot of samples of fresh juices and smoothies. The price of each item as compared to any other gourmet juice bars is competitive. She has lunch programs with delivery options and a lot of unique offerings. We tried almond milk, detox smoothie and some other healthy smoothies, everything was delicious! The lunch was all vegan nachos topped with chilli, cheese, sour-cream, salsa and some salad. She surely proved that healthy eating does not have to be boring or tasteless! She does complimentary counselling for her customers. I am definitely going back there!

Today, my partner and I took a brief second to sit in the red lawn chairs outside of the Fuel+. We were putting down our things and were going to check the Fuel+ menu. This was interrupted by one of the staff (whether he's also the owner or just managerial staff is unknown) who walked past us, on his way inside the store, barking at us saying, "You're going to buy coffee somewhere else and sit here? *scoffs* that's real nice." So ignorant to our intentions and choosing to be so snappy at us. And I guess he thought we didn't hear him so he confronted us again saying, "That's a little rude don't you think?" Bizarre. Who is being rude right now?? As a business, if you prefer to just have paying customers sit in your lawn chairs, that's completely valid! However there are so many ways to just kindly approach people and talk to humans. The fact that we were going to give them business but the owner was so blinded by the fact that we had a coffee from across the street..
