Energy Shack makes eating healthy easier. I haven't tried any of the programs yet, but in the future I would love to consult with a nutritionist. They offer free consultations. Staff is very friendly and I love seeing the staff working together as a team. There's lots of options to choose from in terms of the juices and I love the small details such as how information regarding the benefits of each is added next to the description of the ingredients. I really enjoyed the Japanese Fried Rice and my favorite drink was the Aloha Omega. It was refreshing and the taste of the mango & coconut cream was strong (which I loved!) I'm looking forward to try more in the future.

Carolyn, the owner, is a qualified dietitian/nutritionist, who would be guiding people to pursue healthy vegan eating as per their dietary needs. It could be for detoxification, weight-loss, thyroid etc etc. She is an enthusiastic professional. During the event, Carolyn could find time to speak to every guests present at the event and explain the concept, gave us some really good tips, which we would not know otherwise. We also tried a lot of samples of fresh juices and smoothies. The price of each item as compared to any other gourmet juice bars is competitive. She has lunch programs with delivery options and a lot of unique offerings. We tried almond milk, detox smoothie and some other healthy smoothies, everything was delicious! The lunch was all vegan nachos topped with chilli, cheese, sour-cream, salsa and some salad. She surely proved that healthy eating does not have to be boring or tasteless! She does complimentary counselling for her customers. I am definitely going back there!

Right now they have a gingerbread smoothie for the holidays. During the fall they had a pumpkin spice smoothie! My go-to is always the mango hurricane. It can be a bit sweet because of the guava but it's a nice treat.

I went back to get another one, and when Zena helped me again, I peppered Zena with questions to get the smoothie I wanted. Not only was she super patient with all my questions (trust me, I had a lot), but she also made recommendations and explained what kind of substitutions I could make. She was not frustrated at all with my indecision, and remained super upbeat even when I changed my mind. I finally decided on the Mind over Matcha. Zena really wanted to make sure I liked the second smoothie, and showed me the smoothie three times and made sure I liked the taste before she let me go. When I thanked her, she said, "Come back any time--I'd love to make a smoothie for you!" How fantastic is she? And the smoothie was perfect. I wish I lived in the area. I'd totally go to this location all the time.

Served with a wide array of nuts (pistachios, walnuts, almonds), coconut shavings, sliced bananas, pineapples, syrup, rosewater, and an ice-cream base, the majoun was filling and definitely enough to share between two people. I was also a big fan of their pistachio milkshake (شیر پسته) which was creamy and not too sweet to taste. While seating space inside Sweetland is pretty limited, I enjoyed their Persian-style decorations and the music. The owner was incredibly friendly and helped us feel right at home inside the shop. We did have to wait a bit (10-15 min) to get our majoun, but this was also the opening weekend so the place was quite packed! I was pleasantly surprised by the amazing number of options they had on their menu. A solid 3.5 stars ... its a decent spot to get your healthier drink or food options…read more With many fast food cookie cutter spots, it's nice to see this option available. Revitasize is a fast casual spot that focuses on shakes (fresh and bottled) and Chia bowls. It does have a few more meal like options but I would say 90% of the customers dropping in were grabbing juices or a shake to go. The place itself is fairly big for a shake spot. Easy to grab a seat if you want to stay in. It was clean and with the big windows, a bright sunny spot. For a Saturday morning, there was never a terrible wait. Only one person manned the cashier and then disappeared into the back to help with the orders. I think the number of people coming in was pretty light but at one point, there was a line up for 3 people with no one at the cashier for more than a few minutes. For breakfast, I figure a healthy start would be would be a good way to go and they have a few bowls to choose from. Revita Bowl - I think I misread the menu because it had acai, wild berries, banana, strawberries, and agave for each bowl. I thought I would get the acai and some berries on the bottom and more cut banana, berries, and strawberries on top ... like the image they had. All the ingredients were blended up with either a lot of ice or frozen fruit and on the bottom. It was like a fruit slushie for most of it. It was pretty cold to eat. On top it had a bit of trail mix, coconut, and a bit bananas. For $10, I dont think it's outrageous but I do understand when people say it is expensive. From a taste perspective, it wasn't too sweet and was a decent balance between natural flavour and the agave. I suspect the acai was made with frozen fruit because it didn't have that fresh berry flavour. 3.5/5 Peanut Butter Acai bowl - Another early morning bowl to wake up the body. This one looked more appealing with the cut fruit of bananas, strawberries, and kiwi on top. The total fruit was really one medium sized strawberry, less than 1 kiwi, and a part of a banana. The base definitely tasted strongly like peanut butter. It was dominant and even though it looked the same as the Revita bowl, it had a completely different boldness. For $10, it seemed steep but for freshly made fruit bowl... its not completely crazy I guess. 3.5/5 For the area, not much else is offered for this type of shakes, juices, and bowls. It's so hard to say this particular is overpriced since all shakes, juices, and bowls carry a steep premium. Sometimes you feel like the flavour just hits you and you love it. This time, it wasn't bad but it wasn't a complete love of the flavour to think I needed to come back soon.
