A solid 3.5 stars ... its a decent spot to get your healthier drink or food options. With many fast food cookie cutter spots, it's nice to see this option available. Revitasize is a fast casual spot that focuses on shakes (fresh and bottled) and Chia bowls. It does have a few more meal like options but I would say 90% of the customers dropping in were grabbing juices or a shake to go. The place itself is fairly big for a shake spot. Easy to grab a seat if you want to stay in. It was clean and with the big windows, a bright sunny spot. For a Saturday morning, there was never a terrible wait. Only one person manned the cashier and then disappeared into the back to help with the orders. I think the number of people coming in was pretty light but at one point, there was a line up for 3 people with no one at the cashier for more than a few minutes. For breakfast, I figure a healthy start would be would be a good way to go and they have a few bowls to choose from. Revita Bowl - I think I misread the menu because it had acai, wild berries, banana, strawberries, and agave for each bowl. I thought I would get the acai and some berries on the bottom and more cut banana, berries, and strawberries on top ... like the image they had. All the ingredients were blended up with either a lot of ice or frozen fruit and on the bottom. It was like a fruit slushie for most of it. It was pretty cold to eat. On top it had a bit of trail mix, coconut, and a bit bananas. For $10, I dont think it's outrageous but I do understand when people say it is expensive. From a taste perspective, it wasn't too sweet and was a decent balance between natural flavour and the agave. I suspect the acai was made with frozen fruit because it didn't have that fresh berry flavour. 3.5/5 Peanut Butter Acai bowl - Another early morning bowl to wake up the body. This one looked more appealing with the cut fruit of bananas, strawberries, and kiwi on top. The total fruit was really one medium sized strawberry, less than 1 kiwi, and a part of a banana. The base definitely tasted strongly like peanut butter. It was dominant and even though it looked the same as the Revita bowl, it had a completely different boldness. For $10, it seemed steep but for freshly made fruit bowl... its not completely crazy I guess. 3.5/5 For the area, not much else is offered for this type of shakes, juices, and bowls. It's so hard to say this particular is overpriced since all shakes, juices, and bowls carry a steep premium. Sometimes you feel like the flavour just hits you and you love it. I''m always looking for a healthy option when it comes to dining out so thought I would try something good for my morning start! This place is new, bright, and great service! I opted for the Super Bowl-acai bowl, it looked small but once I dug in, it's worth the $10bucks! It contained fresh fruit, granola and an acai base. They also offer healthy baked options and I also had the blueberry "cookie, puck looking thing" for later and it was great tasting and a healthy option during my round of golf later that day. Look I want this place to succeed. The juice is fresh and healthy, the product is delicious, they are a Canadian business, the store was clean and the girl at the cash, as well as the lady who juiced for us, were friendly and polite. Cleanliness, class and courtesy (CCC?) go a long way. With that said, they do not make it easy. Firstly, let's be honest and scientific. Past pseudo-science and hearsay that people repeat as if it is fact detoxes, cleanses and the whole fable of cold press juices are just that. Of course, these juices and their ingredients are healthy. Yet, and additionally, of course there is no such thing as a detox. Not through drinking or eating this or that anyway. I visited Revitasize's website and there was the appearance of all these buzzwords, a blog entry about some boring and overhyped so-called princess in the UK - which has not worked her charm for them since the blogs were not updated since that one in the spring - 'Maccha' is spelt 'matcha' for some reason and it makes them look amateurish to not even know the name of the product and by the way, for Canadians as a whole, 'maccha' is not green tea. Ask anyone in Japan if you don't believe me. With all that good information (lol) off my chest let's get back to the (non)-meat of the matter. Any place that has organic goods, vegan ingredients and serves bottled and fresh juices, salad bowls and desserts is a plus and we need more of them. People can feed their themselves and their kids this or 'treat' them at McDonalds. Child cruelty and masochism is ugly folks. Doing so while lined up ten cars deep in a SUV is even uglier. Nothing, but goodness at Revitasize. I do wish I didn't have to pay $24 (taxes included) for two juices however. That is nuts. Poor customer Service!!! Staff don't seem interested to serve customers. Staff always in the back even when there is no customers to service. Staff should be out on the floor to greet us upon arrival. For the price I would expect better connection with their customers. One female staff member in particular (maybe a junior manager) who is there consistently is very snobby. Get over yourself !!! Most of my friends have noticed the same. Product is decent , however the inventory is always low. Never have my juice in the fridge. Lost me!!! read more

Is it weird I love everything about Revitasize even though I've only been there once and had one cold pressed juice? Said cold pressed juice is their super greens and it was fantastic. There's spinach, ginger, lemon, cayenne in it just to make a few ingredients. Sounds healthy, but it sure wasn't the tastiest thing (that cayenne packed a punch). I mean if it's healthy there's gotta be a catch, right? There's a clean and simplistic look about the place, which perfectly compliments their concept. There's plenty of juice options here that I would love to try, although I believe you'd need a subscription for their entire juice menu (goes for as little as $100 for 10 juices). I would love to come back to try their desserts or their salads. They all look delectable. They're vegan too so that's a huge plus! read more

So this place serves up hand made juices and they have an assortment of vegan, gluten free food. I've had a variety of the juices, and although they are somewhat pricey $10-13 depending, they are really good. "Berry Good" is my favourite. They also sell little energy and immune booster shots that help a lot if you're feeling under the weather or just need an afternoon jolt. Membership card is $100, which gets you 10 drinks. I had a really great lunch but my first thoughts were "holy expensive!" Visited this spot on a rainy day after eating way too many carbs on the weekend. The lady assisting me was helpful and gave some suggestions for lunch. I had the bloody beet juice, a veggie soup and chickpea brownies. It totalled just over $30. The juice was great, not too sweet as requested, the soup was perrrrrfect and the brownies were delectable. I really like chickpea brownies. So much chocolate and denseness, hit the spot juuuuust right. I can't swallow the price though. I went home that night thinking I could've had a fine Keg dinner at that price (my usual mental price point reference system). Will I go back? Yeah, probably. The actual food was decent; the soup was a nice portion and the brownies came in a container of four. The lady offered a 10 juices for ~$100 package. I think I'll opt for that next time since the juice was about $14.00. You buy the package and you can pick up as many or as little juices as you like at any time you like. read more

Very commercialized... the juices taste stale and over priced for what you get. The food is very bland. I think I tried almost every item carried in the fridge. The chickpea brownies were okay. However for the most part I think the food is old or has just been sitting because it does not taste fresh at all.
