We hired Isle Media for our wedding, drawn by their attention to detail in response to our original…read moreemail as we vetted vendors and their beautiful portfolio shared with us in a following meeting. The photos we received for our wedding turned out wonderfully -- our families were so happy with them, and we were grateful to have those memories captured. But sadly, we're now past 8 months since our wedding, and we still haven't received our highlight or full video, despite following up several times. We also asked for a few specific/missing photos (a large group reception shot and a portrait of the bride with her immediate family) that still haven't been delivered. What's been most disappointing is the lack of transparency and communication. We've been incredibly patient, giving space for the creative process and trying not to rush the team. But after so many months and repeated follow-ups, we're left feeling anxious and in the dark. We've just repeatedly been told "next week" for months and now we've reached a point that we've been entirely ghosted. We trusted Isle Media to preserve the emotional essence of a once-in-a-lifetime day -- and now we're afraid we may never get to relive it the way we had hoped. For a service of this cost and significance, this level of delay and silence is deeply disheartening. If/when our remaining photos and videos are delivered at the high-quality standard you would expect from Isle Media, I'll gladly update this review -- but as it stands, I wouldn't want another couple to go through this and therefore can't recommend their services to anyone looking for an event photographer/ videographer.

Dream FX Media was quite literally a DREAM to work with. From start to finish, Nicole and Rob and…read moretheir entire team presented with professional yet personable and made myself, my now husband, and our entire family and friends so comfortable in front of the camera. From the start, Nicole was amazing. So friendly and quick to respond to my many questions. She made the process of booking with them so easy. Their pricing is also extremely reasonable for what you get. What I liked the most was their bundles- for reference my husband and I purchased the diamond package which came with both photography and videography. We also purchased their love story video, which is a 5 minute video to tell the story of how we met, and where we are today with wedding planning. The love story video experience was awesome. It was my and my husband's first time being in front of a videographer, but Rob made us feel so relaxed. We ended up doing two different shoots because I felt the first shoot didn't match the overall vibe of the wedding (which was on US not Dream FX Media), I also felt that I wanted to prioritize different angles (since I'm a bit self conscious) and have the video be shorter (originally the first video was about 8ish minutes long). And yes, this sounds like a lot of requests, because it was. And I knew that, yet Nicole and Rob didn't make us feel that way at all. They were so accommodating, understanding, and never made me feel bad for wanting to reshoot it. The second shoot, was literally perfect. It captured the vibe we wanted (elegant and romantic), and was the perfect length (5 minutes long). They were also open to editing certain parts of the video based on my requests which made the whole process so easy for us. Nicole and Rob truly made us feel like they cared about us and how we felt about the final product. During our wedding, we were so happy with their team. They were all kind and friendly. Nicole even helped me when I had a dress incident which is totally not part of their job description! But that's the type of people they are- willing to go above and beyond for their clients. We truly could not have been happier with Dream FX Media. They also sent us our sneak peek photos literally the day after the wedding, and sent us our highlight/instagram videos AND 600+ edited photos within one month! When I chatgpt'd how long it would take, it said on average 3-6 months. When I tell you Dream FX Media was working overtime, they were (sorry Nicole and Rob). But the videos came out BEAUTIFUL. And the photos were magical. I can't explain it, but both the highlight video and photos just brought me back to the day of my wedding and ALL of the feelings I felt. They captured the entire day- getting ready, our private vows, pre-photos with my family and bridal party, the ceremony, the reception- I mean everything, and looking at it all truly took me back to every moment. It was SOOO worth it. Yes, photography and videography can be pricey, but Dream FX Media are literal artists. If you want a photography/videography team that is professional, personable, kind, understanding, and willing to go above and beyond- this is the team you want. If you want photos and videos to bring you to tears and bring you back to the exact moment you got married, this is the team you want. Thank you, Nicole, Rob, and team. You truly made our wedding so special and we can't thank you enough! We will see you at our vow renewal in the future!

With the help of our amazing wedding coordinator, Karisa, we booked ARIA Studios on May 16, 2019. We were overjoyed that we got a professional photographer on such short notice and it was especially important to get these memories captured. Our wedding day came and I arrived at our venue. As soon as I stepped out of the car, Jess from ARIA Studios was there, snapping moments that I will remember for a lifetime. She was so kind and patient with my (now) husband and I (we are really not models). We loosened up with her gentle guidance and she even helped me convince my husband to get in the water for some photos. My mother's health declined quickly and so I asked for the photos of her from that day expedited, knowing full well that it might be an additional fee. I received the photos quickly and Mom was able to see them and enjoy them. Now our family will remember this day, my happiest day of my life, which I was able to share with my beautiful Mom. We have received all of our photos and Hubby and I could not be more happy with them. It's taking a lot of restraint not to be totally weird about it and print lifesize photos and put them all over the house. In any case, Hubby and I are doing a part 2 and have already booked ARIA Studios for that day (and asked for Jess specifically!). We can't wait because we know what a great job they do.

Thank you so much ARIA Studios!! We were referred to Aria by many, including my husband's cousin who works with Aria Studios. Their work is absolutely awesome and their team is awesome. Kolby, Kash, Holly & Jessica all flew to Maui the day of our wedding. The were very professional and very easy to work it. Jessica was the main contact and she responded to emails efficiently. About 4 days after our wedding, Holly was able to email us a couple of preview photos while they worked on editing the rest. We chose the Fusion package (Cinema 8 Hour Package, Same Day Edit and Photo 8 Hour Package). I am so amazed by the quality of their work and am amazed by how fast they can edit the videos to show in the Same Day Edit. And I absolutely love our Same Day Edit (https://vimeo.com/263970983), I watch it at least three times a week. It let's me relive this special day :) I would highly recommend using Aria Studios!!

It was also neat to see they worked with musician Kolohe Kai on some videos! Navigating the website, I was able to easily setup an initial video/phone meeting with Justyn to which we discussed budget and what packages would be most fitting. His cheerful demeanor and professionalism reassured me that this would be the company to go forth to document such an important day. Needless to say, I'm glad we did! AlohaMedia offers so much and has a few collections and à la carte options to fit your budget needs. We hired AlohaMedia to do our photography, videography, photobooth, DJ, and emcee. It made wedding planning all the way from South Carolina much more enjoyable to know they encompass so much and do so with aloha spirit and pride. We got our photobooth pictures 3 days after our wedding and the highlight samples about 2 weeks later. We can't wait to see the rest of our photos and the video! The crew of AlohaMedia was polite, punctual, good natured, friendly -- just to name a few qualities with our experience. The camera crew showed up early at our hotel for our getting-ready pictures, ensured our photo and video needs were met at our St. Augustine By The Sea church ceremony, the photos before the reception allowed my husband and I to get some beautiful photos around Cafe Julia. For the music and dance portion for the reception, DJ Kutz and emcee Josh exceeded our expectations. Our families LOVE dancing so to me, music meant a great deal of importance. The Vibo website made DJ and music cue planning seamless, it breaks down into sections like walking out songs, bouquet toss, first dance, etc. to which we were able to add comments and clarify any questions plus add links to our personal curated Spotify playlists for them to mix. I'm grateful DJ Kutz and emcee Josh were able to read the dance floor and play songs according to the energy of the crowd especially cranking our Polish disco polo music!! Additionally the photobooth was highly favored with guests. The attendants made sure things were running smoothly, enough copies were printed, and the props made for a few laughs. We used the photos from the booth to be added to our guestbook to which guests could add wisdom and well wishes. Major praises to the crew that made our wedding day feel like a dream: Justyn, Canaan aka DJ Kutz, DJ assistant Nick, photographers Justin & Ryan, videographers Christian & Prince, photobooth attendant Mica, and I'm sure others who run more behind the scenes work!! The communication and dedication to ensure our wedding would run smoothly was evident on that lovely July evening. Mahalo nui loa, AlohaMedia Weddings!
