The seats come with tables, so you can enjoy food while watching your movie, which I thought was a great touch. I came here to watch Devil Wears Prada with one other person, and I was honestly a little surprised by the ticket prices. For just the two of us, it came out to about $40, with each ticket being around $19.50, which felt a bit pricey. Other than that, my experience was decent overall. I didn't get the chance to try their food this visit, which was something I was looking forward to, so I'd definitely like to give this place another chance and experience the full dine-in option next time.

When I went to speak to someone about it, I was told that that's how the movie was made in that format because it's a murder mystery. It's still a mystery to me who is getting killed. But when I watch the trailer it showed everything people's heads included and you could tell that it was zoomed in because the the screen was not clear. The movie has a good plot and I probably would have enjoyed it had they fixed the way we were watching it but nobody would budge to fix it. Staff at the theater could only tell me. I was told to let people know that's just how the directors filmed it. Unfortunately I walked out of the movie before it was even done. Maybe halfway through. I've attached the trailer link so you can see what it should look like, but we couldn't even see people's heads. Even though it was a top secret movie and we only paid $5 a person to watch it, it would have been great if somebody actually went to fix the screen format. We were greeted by the one lone waitress as soon as we entered, even though she was taking an order at a table We were told we could choose anywhere to sit so we took a long table in the middle, near the bar and the waitress Bea was soon to follow with menus Peanut butter milkshake. That is all. lol we got nachos and burgers and fries and onion rings and beer buckets and we had a grand ole time Bea was watching when I set up the birthday cake, she even offered a lighter if I needed one, and after my guy blew out his candles, Bea came to the table with a birthday goodie bag and a REMOTE CONTROL SONIC RACECAR from the prize counter! She said they give them for all birthdays ... but I think that's only true for the goodie bag ;) In any case, we had a great time and Bea was outstanding!

While we've been here a ton of times over the last few years, they never let us down. The place is always clean and inviting. A good place to grab dinner and play some games or even watch a Professional game on the T.V. while hanging at thier bar. The staff here is always super friendly and attentive when dining in. I cant ask for much more. Keep up the good work team.

PARKING: You have to park on the street on Malakeke (free). Don't pull into the parking lot of the Haunted Plantation thinking you can sneak by, you'll get turned away or caught. Crossing Waipahu St was like being in a live Frogger game; only later did the police show up to direct/stop traffic for pedestrians, which was very much appreciated. I don't want to be a real live ghost at the corner after being squashed by a speeding motorist. PRICE: $21.00 cash only. You have reserve your time slot online, then go in person and pay up the cash. Stand in the line that leads up to the metal cubicle that opens up to magically reveal a table that will take all your money. ATM on premises. TOILETS: Port-a-potties. Dark too. Don't drop your phone into the abyss. DRINKS and THINGS: It was really hot in October. We ended up buying bottled water for $2 at the "snack cubicle" - another metal cube that had water, juice, candies for sale as well as those glow stick necklaces that light up and make you an easy target in the dark for the actors to scare. PHOTOS: No photography or video recording inside the HP. They are serious. If you get caught they will escort you off property. ATTRACTION: you wait in line at the entrance of the tunnel that leads you to the many cute plantation homes, the paths are lit with those mini candles on the ground. If you're lucky you're going on OCT 28, 203 SATURDAY on a full moon, so you can see better. Each home has a bunch of scare actors that dart across you, come up to your face, skittle on the floor, jump out from behind doors and corners, slam and pound the floor and boards. WEAR SHOES. One of the actors meant to slam the floor with his foot only to stomp on my husband's (protected) foot. Scared people may back into you and step onto your feet as well. If you're easily spooked, you'll get a lovely thrill and scream your head off. My son didn't scream once, but he's not easily scared. My husband screamed once. I screamed the whole way. I wish there was more scenery other than dark dimly lit rooms. There was only one memorable one, a barber-shop that had some light in them. If the owners of 17A are reading this, let me come do the mood lighting for future haunted plantations, I can make the houses a LOT scarier with blue, green, purple, red or orange lighting or a combo. I do my own haunted scenes at home and use theatrical lighting to make things pop. TIPS: Take cash, pee/poo at home, wear covered shoes, drink cold water in your car before walking over, wear diaper. RETURN FACTOR: Only if my vocal cords can handle it.

The admission to the museum was pricey, even for Kama'aina, so we opted to get the Family Membership instead. The membership was for 2 adults and up to 4 kids, and also has discounts for other exhibits. After a quick sweep through the museum, and a wary observation of the flight simulator, the grandson decided it was time to eat. I got the Blue Angels Burger and he got the kids hot dog meal. I'd say the prices were reasonable, considering how much takeout and restaurant food costs these days. The burger was fat as hell and the dog wasn't Costco sized but definitely satisfied the kid. I didn't get pics of the food because I was too enthralled over the size of the patty! We spent the day also visiting the Mighty Mo, the Virtual Reality tour, and gift shop shopping also.

In my opinion the Aviation Museum was one of the cooler stops on our trip. I really enjoyed all the different types of planes and carriers they had on display. We also ate Lunch at the Cafe in the Aviation Museum and the food was delicious! The bus picked us up from the USS Missouri and dropped us off at the Aviation Museum, there was a short line to check in at the front desk of the museum before you could enter the inside portion of the museum. They had a flight simulator inside the internal museum as well as a gift shop and restaurant. The Hangar still had the original bullet holes in the glass from the Pearl Harbor attack which was a really neat part of history to be able see. They also have a section where they are restoring some planes and helicopter parts. My favorite thing they had was this wood paneled plane in the hangar. They also had some old Military trucks out front of the hangar that were really cool. I highly recommend visiting the Aviation Museum while at Pearl Harbor.
