Pregnancy has been such a beautiful and incredible experience for me and Josh was able to capture all of these emotions in the photos he took. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND: Extremely Disappointed with Unprofessional Wedding Videographer I am writing this review with immense disappointment and frustration after my experience with Josh Galinato. I had to cancel my contract with him due to an absolute lack of communication and trustworthiness, which ultimately made it impossible for us to rely on him for capturing our special day. I wish I would of seen the red flags early as from the very beginning, it became clear that effective communication was not one of Josh's strong suits. After we had paid our deposit, Josh went MIA. About a month after we paid, my fiancé sent an email to Josh with some short questions that he did not answer previously. It took an astonishingly long five months for him to respond to my fiancés initial query. Even worse was that I had to become involved and had to DM an associate of his on Instagram who then told him to respond to our multiple attempts to contact him. This constant need to chase him for even the most basic communication was beyond frustrating and completely unacceptable. When he finally did respond, it was clear that he had put little effort into his reply. The message was rushed and filled with numerous grammatical errors, which raised serious concerns about his professionalism and attention to detail. I was left wondering if he would approach our wedding day with the same lack of care and dedication. Given the consistent lack of professionalism and trustworthiness demonstrated by Josh, my fiancé and I made the difficult decision to cancel our contract. We provided him with two months of extra time to respond and rectify the situation and still he did not respond back so we felt the only option was to cancel and find someone we could trust. We felt it was a reasonable to ask for the deposit back due to the hardships he created but he refused to refund our deposit. To say that our experience with Josh has been disappointing would be an understatement. It is disheartening to have wasted so much time and effort attempting to work with someone who displayed such a lack of professionalism and basic business practices such as responding to your clients within a reasonable time. I strongly advise other couples to steer clear of this videographer to avoid the same frustrations and disappointment we encountered. Wedding planning is already a stressful process, and entrusting someone with capturing your cherished memories should be a joyful and exciting endeavor. Unfortunately, Josh has proven himself unfit for the task through his abysmal communication, lack of professionalism, and refusal to return our deposit. read more

Josh is an excellent videographer. He made my wedding amazingly memorable through visuals. He knows how to put together scenes and make the clips flow together great with the music. I received my wedding video in a cute "Just Married" wooden box with a cute usb drive of the file. I also got pictures done which came out great! He got really nice angles of all my bridesmaids and some of the wedding guests and family! THE BEST videographer on Maui. We were so honored to have Joshua at our wedding. He captured our wedding so beautifully-- exceeding all of our expectations. We LOVED the end products, both the teaser video and highlight film, which we shared on social media. Our friends and family couldn't stop raving about the video-- some compared it to "scenes from a movie". Coming from out of town, we were nervous about booking vendors, but Joshua made it easy! He answered all of our questions and truly tried to get to know us as a couple, when this could have been 'just a job' for him. He made it an effort to meet us beforehand, which many vendors don't, and went the extra mile to accommodate our schedule since we were from out of town. He responded quickly, his price was shockingly low for the Lahaina, Maui area, he arranged his schedule to be available for a last minute appointment request, AND he delivered more edited photos than his advertising promises. He worked with the flow of my toddler's attention span, brought toys to help keep his interest, and made it an overall fun experience. One of the hardest things when planning our wedding on Maui was finding a videographer who not only had a talent for finding the "perfect shot" in each scene but who also is someone that is FUN and EASY-GOING. We all know that weddings can be stressful, so the last thing my wife and I wanted was someone who would make the task even more complicated! Josh is such a modest guy, but having the chance to review him now, I can say all the great things we learned about him during the process of working with him. Joshua was a PERFECT MATCH for everything we wanted in the video production of our wedding. His style of filming has an emphasis on bold, richly-colored and emotion-filled clips capturing not only key interactions/events but also breath-taking shots of the surrounding scenery and the feeling of the many little moments that make the day so special. Josh is also very open to adapting the video to suit a couple's needs, with different formats of video (i.e.Story-line driven, Dialogue driven, Chronological footage, etc.) depending on the couple's comfort level and interest. He uses only the state-of-the-art equipment from 4K cameras to ultra long-distance drones. He carefully planned the placement of microphones, cameras, and backdrops for some great footage. Josh promptly responded to our inquiry, agreed to meet with us at a beautiful meeting spot in Lahaina and took multiple phone calls/video calls to plan the day of events. On the day of the wedding, he was always cool, calm, and collected. And it amazed us how he was able to work efficiently and move from one setting to the next without us even knowing it. In the end, it was a blast to work with Josh on every step of the way to help capture the moments of our wedding day. He's just a really nice and cool guy...and very talented too! I found Joshua through a friend of mine who is also getting married same year I am getting married. She told me about him bec I was having second thoughts of having a video for my wedding because of the cost. I have looked everywhere on the island for videographers with decent price and most of them charges an arm and a leg. I found Joshua and I immediately messaged him. He is a freelancer at that time and didn't have much in his website. I decided to go with him because mainly his video packages are decently priced. I just needed a short video of my wedding as a memento. He was very friendly, prompt and patient. We met for a coffee and he has a lot of ideas in mind and that's what I loved about him. He sent me a sneak peek short clip after our wedding and I was stunned how great it was. I couldn't stop watching it!!! He was very patient and easy going filming our wedding. I can tell that he has a passion for it. I just saw the highlight video of our wedding and it couldn't be any better. It's just what we wanted!!!
