Highly Recommend Russell Tanoue -- Professional, Passionate, and Truly Relatable…read more I recently had my headshots done by Russell Tanoue, and I can honestly say this was one of the best photography experiences I've ever had. Russell is extremely professional and organized. He guided me through poses and angles that I had never tried in past photo shoots, and that alone made a huge difference in the final results. His attention to detail and ability to direct without making you feel stiff or uncomfortable really stood out. What made this experience even more meaningful was how relatable he is on a personal level. As a caregiver myself, I connected deeply with Russell because he also took care of his parents. We spent time talking about caregiving, our moms, life, and the spiritual side of it all. That connection meant a lot to me. Another thing that truly touched my heart was that Russell gave me a discount simply because I am a caregiver. That alone shows the kind of heart he has--compassionate, understanding, and genuine. He made the entire shoot fun and relaxed. There was so much natural laughter--he would giggle, dance, and bring such great energy that it helped me relax and smile naturally. I've worked with other photographers before, but I've never had an experience like this. Because of his quality work and professionalism, I'm already thinking about updating my photos every six months. I highly recommend Russell Tanoue to any actors or models who are unsure about where to go for headshots. You won't just get great photos--you'll get an unforgettable experience. Matai'a Hio.
