JP nailed it. On a whim, I decided to do this as a surprise spicy 16th anniversary gift for my hubby. I had a tight turnaround time due to my anniversary happening in like, 2 weeks. But JP went above and beyond and booked me in quickly & got me photos back that night. This was far outside my comfort zone & I had no idea what to do with my face and body JP guided the process every step of the way, was so respectful and kind, hyped me up when needed, and made me feel comfortable every step of the way. By the end I was feeling myself and was so glad I went through with the experience! 10/10 recommend and would 1000% do it again! When I got the photos back I was shocked at how well they came out given the times I was stiff as a board I couldn't believe it was me in those photos. Needless to say the hubby was so surprised and LOVED the photos! We joked about booking another session to start building him his own private portfolio of me Highly recommend! read more

In November 2025 I had such an incredible experience with JP Moulin Photography! From the moment I arrived, getting my hair and makeup done by Rosie, I felt completely taken care of Rosie was so warm, friendly, and talented it really set the tone for the entire shoot. When it came time to work with JP, he was the perfect balance of professional and personable. He created such a comfortable, safe space and knew exactly how to guide me in a way that made me feel 100% confident in my body. What started as a simple clothed shoot naturally evolved into an implied nude session and I never once felt anything but empowered and supported. If you've ever thought about doing something like this, don't hesitate! This is an experience you won't regret. I can honestly say it's more than just a photo shoot; it's a confidence boost, a moment of self-love and a chance to see yourself in a whole new light. Fair warning... you'll probably want to book another session just to feel that magic all over again and capture even more stunning photos! read more

I cannot say enough amazing things about this husband-and-wife duo! I booked them for a very last-minute shoot with a tight deadline right before my wedding, and they absolutely blew me away. From the moment I arrived, the wife did an incredible job with my hair and makeup. She is so personable, warm, and immediately put me at ease. The husband was the photographer, and as someone who can be quite shy, I was a little nervous. He completely transformed the experience for me--making me feel comfortable, safe, and genuinely confident throughout the entire session. The experience went way beyond my expectations, and the results speak for themselves. They give you the option to have a certain amount edited or keep all the photos, and we decided to keep them all. My husband LOVED every single unedited photo! If you are on the fence or nervous about booking a shoot, trust this amazing team. They are professional, talented, and pure magic! read more

This was my second shoot with JP Moulin, but my very first couple's boudoir shoot -- and it could not have been more perfect. From the very beginning, JP and his wife Rosie went above and beyond to make us feel cared for, comfortable, and celebrated. JP has a rare gift -- not only as a photographer, but as a storyteller. He has an incredible ability to capture love in its most raw and authentic form, turning fleeting moments into timeless art. My husband and I had such a great time, and JP made us feel super comfortable throughout the entire process. What could have felt intimidating was instead empowering, natural, and even fun. His professionalism, creativity, and calming energy set the tone for an unforgettable experience. And Rosie -- she is pure magic. Her makeup artistry is flawless, but what makes her truly special is the care and love she pours into every brush stroke. She doesn't just do makeup, she creates confidence. I walked into the shoot feeling a little nervous, but Rosie's warmth and artistry had me feeling radiant, strong, and beautiful. Together, JP and Rosie are an incredible team. You can feel the passion and heart they put into their work, and it shows in every single image. If you've ever considered a boudoir shoot -- whether solo or with your partner -- I cannot recommend them enough. This is more than photography; it's an unforgettable experience that celebrates love, vulnerability, and connection. Thank you, JP and Rosie, for giving us not just photos, but memories we will cherish forever. read more

OH MY GOODNESS!! Let me start off with a HUGE THANK YOU to Rosie and JP for an amazing experience!! I've been following JP on Instagram for a little over a year and I love his work. It has always been my dream to do a photo shoot but I was self-conscious about my body (mom-bod) Till one day I said "F**K IT!! I am turning 48 soon! Just do it!!" When I booked my photo shoot. I thought to myself "what did I sign up for?" I was excited and nervous... What am I gonna wear? Lol! I didn't own any outfits, etc, etc. The questions went on in my head. I was totally overthinking big time. Rosie did an amazing job with my hair and make-up. I don't ever wear a full face of makeup (lip stick and eyeliner) but after I saw the final look. "Wow! Is that me?!?" She made me feel so relax. We talked story the whole time. Rosie is like a friend I haven't talk to in a long time. She made me that comfortable. Thank you Rosie!! Once I got to the location of the shoot. I was nervous again. JP was professional and respectful. He talked me through the whole process. When he showed me the first photo. I was amazed and couldn't believe that it was me in the photo! He made feel like a goddess in my own world. I looked and felt like whole other person. I was in the moment. In MY moment to shine like a strong independent woman I am today!! I had such an AMAZING time during my shoot. I was sad it was over!! Lol. LADIES!! DO NOT OVER THINK IT!! JUST DO IT!! You will not regret it!! I am so proud and happy that I step out of my comfort zone!! This is a check off my bucket list. JP is now my one and only photographer!! read more

Did another shoot with JP in December of 2024. My second shoot in a year... and maybe not last lol. JP never ceases to amaze me with his professionalism and dedication to this craft. I did a special promo shoot, discounted with myself doing my own hair and make up. I will pay for Rosie again next time. But only bc I really dont know how to do mine. But for this shoot it worked fine for me and the aesthetic I was going for. I need to do a third shoot with JP. read more

From conversation to concept to confidence, every step of my interaction and dialogue with JP was open, professional, transparent, and above all - a collaborative hype session! As a female and detailed oriented person, I felt at ease with JP's timely communication and what to expect. On the day of my photo shoot, I got to meet his magician wife, Rosie, who took care of me, made me feel at ease and transformed me - seriously, I've never looked so pretty . The photoshoot was liberating for me. JP made the whole experience enjoyable, safe, and collaborative as if we had been working together for years! During the shoot he would share some of the shots he took with me and it was just reaffirming for me in those moments when you might feel vulnerable in front of the camera that push to see your vulnerability as truly beautiful. I never thought I had it in me to do a shoot with JP! I stumbled across his Instagram about 5 years ago and just admired his stunning work and all of the beautiful women in his posts. In my mind, I just couldn't do it and made ALL the excuses not to...my body wasn't the same after having two kids, I hate my nose, my tan lines are crazy...basically, I wasn't comfortable in my own body. So what changed? I think it was hitting a milestone birthday and I just said screw it and went for it. And I'm so glad I did! From the first contact, JP was so nice and so professional. He made me feel comfortable over text message without ever meeting him in person! His talented wife, Rosie, glammed me up and I barely recognized myself! She is also so nice and easy to talk story with! I was super nervous the whole week leading up to my shoot and she was so awesome at calming my nerves:) Once I got to the location, the nerves kicked in again but JP was so cool and after about 10 minutes of him explaining how the day was going to go, I felt calm again. You can really tell that JP loves what he does and puts his customers best interest first. He is also very respectful. Not once did I feel uncomfortable or worried about how my body looked...I felt like a goddess! It was the confidence boost that I needed to kick off a new decade! I can't wait for another session! Ladies, reach out! You know you want to and you won't regret it:) read more

From the beginning to the end, this was an amazingly unforgettable experience. I was in contact with JP back in March regarding my interest in a Boudoir session, on the beaches of HI in October. Coming from VA, I was unsure what to expect in HI, much less a boudoir session as this was my first one. JP made this experience so simple and easy. He established boundaries, asked my insecurities, and helped me decide on which outfits to bring (I had so many options and no idea where to start). He worked with my schedule being that I was on vacation and communicated very well. His wife Rosie was a total sweetheart. She took her time and really showed passion in her work. After hair and makeup were completed, she did a whole videoed reveal with me. It was a total celebration! Rosie really made me look like a complete goddess with hair and makeup! JP showed me a few different locations as to where we could go being I wasn't familiar with the area and ultimately left the decision up to me as to what I liked best. During the photo shoot, he was incredibly respectful and professional. He communicated every step of the way and gave clear concise directions on what to do and how to pose. He knew exactly what he was doing. JP and Rosie were so welcoming. The photos received were absolutely beautiful! I never thought I could look so stunning. The pictures are a total confidence booster and I cannot wait to complete an album for my husband. If you are unsure on booking a session, just do it!! You will not regret it! If I ever take another trip to Hawaii, I will for sure be reaching out again. Thank you so much, JP and Rosie, for the most welcoming and incredible experience. You both were so wonderful to work with and I am forever grateful for this experience. read more

Dear JP, From start to finish, this boudoir shoot was an unforgettable experience--in the best way possible. I was a little nervous walking in, but that disappeared within minutes thanks to your warm, confident energy and seriously fun vibe. You made the entire session feel like a celebration of confidence, beauty, and unapologetic sass--and I was so here for it. And let's talk glam, because your wife absolutely crushed it with my hair and makeup! She had me feeling like a total queen before I even stepped in front of the camera. I barely recognized myself--in the best way. The two of you are such a powerhouse duo, and it shows in every part of the process. From the perfect lighting to the effortless posing guidance, you made sure every detail was on point. I walked in hoping to feel confident and came out feeling like a full-on goddess. Thank you both for creating a space that's not just professional, but empowering, stylish, and a whole lot of fun. Those RAW photos? ICONIC. I can't wait to look at them after editing --and I can't wait to do it again! LB read more

If you're like me, and think "I don't look like them" SISTER.. JP and Rosie, do that, and then some! I always thought, maybe lose some weight, tone her...Nah, I love food to much.. Book it and get a mani and a pedi before and your golden. I had wanted this for YEARS! Before my keiki, during my keiki and after my keiki. It took me a hot minute to realize that I wanted this but I actually needed it. US WOMAN ARE BEAUTIFUL in all shapes and sizes babe, we need this. I was always the one capturing everyone else but this time, it was just ME.. I have no idea how to pose for photos like this or what to wear, but JP made himself my mirror, and boy, this mirror was thee best mirror EVER! I initially was timid of course but for some reason after the shoot, honestly, felt like being captured by him, made me feel like I've done this before. I bought 8 options and 2 heels for me to wear and guess what??? I wore only a blazer lol... Best freaking decision. I was trying to cover what made me insecure with those outfits but ended up with photos that captured the best of me. I'm an eyeliner and mascara only gal but Queenie Rosie, make me look like a damn super model!!! You will not regret the outcome, for whatever you're thinking of doing this for. Hands down, nah, hands up cause this should be illegal how damn sexy I look!!! Like, mom of three C-sections where?!?!?! This is an investment for yourself, and you're worth investing in. read more

JP Moulin Photography - How? This how... Tell me why I feel like Breakfest, lunch and dinner?!?! - Session Photography Near Me - Honolulu, Hawaii

NUMBER 5!! this is my 5th shoot with JP. My 4th one I guess I forgot to write a review..... Let me just say! I can never get tired of doing this. It's so addicting. Brought the hubby this time. We have 3 kids and wanted to do something different. We wanted to see our relationship in the moment and have it forever. I mean common, who has the time with three kids. Sports, activities, work, etc. Sometimes you forget the intimacy when you're so busy. Anyways... It was so fun. I've done it pregnant and now I can say I've done it with my husband. It really fires up my life. It's fun! It's not your average thing. It's a thrill like skydiving lol Rose is so great when she's doing makeup and hair. It's not awkward at all. It's not your average pose and take a picture. You don't know what to expect. We ended up taking pictures with the outfit I came in. (Not expecting to shoot in that outfit at all) JP really lives in the moment with you. You don't know where you're going to be in the photos. You don't know how you will be posing. It's spontaneous. I'll naturally be doing something as he'll say "oh I like that" "do that" ITS YOUR MOMENT. The pictures are a complete surprise to you. Not in an editing way. In a way you've never expected. He pays attention to the way you look, what's your preferred side. He captures the features of yourself that you love, in a way you don't expect. I can't express how amazing the experience is. Especially if you're a mommy, or shy, or just want to share something with someone else. Anyone can take a picture, a nice picture, but not everyone can capture the moment. The real moment. The moment of confidence. Every individual is battling something and everyone wants to feel like their best. Everyone wants that feeling of looking amazing and being completely happy with themselves. This will do that for you! You only live one life. Love and appreciate yourself. Because no one will appreciate you more than you should appreciate and love yourself. Period. read more

Absolutely LOVED the whole experience. JP was great with making me feel comfortable through the whole process from helping me shop to giving great direction during the shoot and even allowing you to choose the look and vibe of your shoot, from the lighting and outfits! This was such a LIBERATING moment for me as I am 40 and starting life over again! Thanks JP! read more

JP and Rosie are a ROCK STAR team! I started following JP Moulin Phitography a couple years ago after I did my first boudoir shoot with someone else and someone I knew had done one with JP. I loved what I saw. From then on I decided I wanted to do one with them. JP was very responsive whenever I had questions and I had a lot of them! I finally scheduled the shoot for my birthday - my 50th birthday. I had a lot of fun from the time I met Rosie, who was sweet and felt like a friend I was talking story with, to our shoot with JP. Time flies when you're having fun. JP was respectful and made me feel comfortable from the get go. Still can't believe it's me in the pictures. I'm so happy I finally got to do this with The JP Moulin Photography! The last few years brought what little confidence I had to its lowest point. This shoot helped find ME...the me I lost and couldn't see. Thank you, JP and Rosie, so much! Highly recommend JP Moulin Phitography! Don't overthink it. JUST DO IT! read more

JP was amazing. From the beginning he discussed boundaries and made me feel safe and at ease. He prepared for the shoot by asking about the vibe I was going for, what I'd like to accentuate, and helped me choose outfits to wear. He gives amazing direction and I couldn't believe the pictures he showed me were actually me. He has such a command of lighting that shows your absolute best sides. I felt empowered and beautiful the whole time, and he was professional throughout the experience. Highly recommend! read more

My second photoshoot with JP went amazing and surprisingly well; more than I expected! I initially felt hesitant to do this shoot only because I came in not feeling as confident as I did when I was physically fit a year ago. However, back then I was at my peak for a Bikini Competition show. My whole attitude changed when JP gave me a preview of my shots as we were shooting to show me that he can make any angle and curve beautiful. He definitely knows how to present and feature the essence of a woman (however she wants to be perceived). Aside from his obvious talent, he is really down to earth and easy to talk with. I most appreciate him taking the time to ask me what kind of vibe/look I was aiming for and we achieved that look! I'm so happy with the final shots. read more

If you are looking for a Professional Photographer, look no further. JP is the Man!!! I highly recommend you book him ASAP. You will not be disappointed. I recently had the opportunity to work with JP to do a photoshoot which would celebrate & commemorate a BIG monumental number for me. I turned "60" a few months ago. I researched many photographers and chose JP because his photos just really caught my eye. His use of lighting and shading stood out from the others. I also thought he really captured people in intimate views so tastefully. When you scroll thru his gallery, you'll price that over 90% are women. Thus, I was very apprehensive. However, not once did I feel uncomfortable. Then came the waiting game & all the questions ... when will the pix get sent? Will I look "onay"? Did I just waste his & my time? Yes, the self-doubt is real. In the end, I am very proud of his work and also for myself to muster up the courage to go thru with this endeavor. read more

My experience with JP Moulin was nothing short of phenomenal. I'm still reeling from my boudoir shoot yesterday!! JP was so easy going yet professional at the same time. My nerves were high, I was even shaking a little when I first met him, having never done anything like this before. You could say I'm shy and insecure about my mom body, but he has a way of making you feel comfortable within minutes of meeting him. Talks with you about what you're confident about, what you may have insecurities about, your personality type, etc. and is somehow able to incorporate all that information into his photos. He capitalizes on your best assets and will make you feel sexy and confident as hell! It really helped my confidence during the shoot as well when he would stop and show me shots on his camera...like WOW, is that really ME?! Crazy. 10000% recommend JP Moulin if this is something you've always wanted to do! Thee BEST with boudoir! Can't wait to see the rest of my pics! P.S. Rosie did an AMAZING job on hair and make-up as well, so book the whole package! BEST husband and wife team on the island! read more

This was such a great experience, I'm already starting to plan my next booking. From the very start JP was awesome! He was very easy to get a hold of and made sure to answer any questions I had along the way before my shoot. I was super nervous as this was my first time doing anything like this. I had seen his portfolio and had been following his page for a number of years and finally decided it was time to do something for me. He was super professional throughout the whole process. He helped me decide on outfits that would look good in the shoot. He made sure to let me know what types of outfits I should be looking for in my closet and what I should stay away from if I was going to purchase. The day of my shoot, i was extremely nervous, but super excited. Once I finally met him and Rosie it felt like I was part of their family. They are both so welcoming and you immediately feel relaxed when talking with them. Rosie's make up skills are so amazing. She works with you and asks what your outfits look like and makes your look compliment the outfits. She made me look amazing. I was completely obsessed with my make up, I didn't wanna take it off. My hair typically does not hold curls well, but she made it last. After hair and make up were pau, I went to the site to meet JP for the shoot. He communicated everything from the start: his process, where to put my things, the layout of the house, his ideas and what he thought would look cool, everything. He took the time to answer any questions or concerns that I had. He made sure that I felt comfortable throughout the whole process. When it came time to shoot, he talked me through the whole thing. How to pose, where to look, asked what I felt comfortable with. The whole time flew by so fast. I was having so much fun. He showed me some shots he took throughout which looked amazing. I never thought I could look like that. After the shoot, he went over the next steps and made sure to answer all of my questions and address my concerns. I would definitely book with them again. It was such an awesome experience. If you're on the fence about this, this is your sign to pull the trigger and book. Everyone should do this at least once in their life. Once you do it once, you'll be hooked. I'm already telling all my friends to do it. It was so much fun and I look strong, beautiful and sexy. read more

I loved my shoot with JP. It started with hours of gabbing away, as Rosie applied makeup and did my hair. When in therapist mode, I can talk, no problem. But when it's me, as myself, with an unknown person? I'm constantly fighting an urge to clam up. Rosie chatted the whole time, and I could feel my awkward self relax. I started to talk more, we started laughing, sharing personal stories, and even created some inside jokes. She has definitely heard it all, and anything I said was accepted without judgment. When Rosie had finished, she handed me a mirror and I stared back at my smokeshow self. When I say that I didn't recognize the face in the mirror, it's because my eye naturally goes directly to the little things that usually drive me crazy. This time, I found that my gaze meandered to details by which I was pleasantly surprised. It was still me, but it was me in ways I never would have magnified on my own. As I headed to the shoot site, I started getting nervous. JP could tell immediately and was kind, professional, and courteous. He showed me around the site and we did a little bit of chit-chatting before he took charge. JP and I had already chosen outfits with a few options, so he suggested a rough game plan for shooting. Three outfits, three locations throughout the house. I could tell when he had brief flashes of inspiration, when I'd shift between shots and he'd say, "Actually, can you do that again with your arm?" He'd show me a few shots here and there when we were on a streak. We talked a lot during the shoot, and before I knew it, it had been roughly two and a half hours. I had no concept of time, just posing and talking. When I went home that night, I felt sexy. It's hard to explain, but I felt more ownership of my body. It felt like I did something for me, I looked sexy for me, and the fact that anyone else can look at these pictures and see them as beautiful is just icing on my own cake. read more

I did a session with JP and his wife 5 years ago! Which was truly an amazing experience! It was my 30th birthday present to myself and also a going away gift for my boyfriend now husband! I plan to do another session on my 40th (wink wink JP)! But more recently I noticed that all my photos disappeared and I had no idea how they got deleted and thought that I had lost them forever! I reached out to JP with a sliver of hope he'd still have my file.... And to my surprise he still did and I was able to get all my photos from the session back!!! He has truly exceeded my expectation and definition of customer service! And I've worked in customer service and I hold a pretty high expectation! I will never go to anyone else but him! I am a 38year old mom of 3. This past year was just the worst year of my life medically and I always wanted to do a photoshoot before I got sick. I have been following them on IG for awhile and just kept thinking I need to do this first, lose more weight, etc. I am telling you forget all that shit and JUST DO IT! This was the most amazing experience from the start to finish. JP helped me the day before with clothing choices. Which was so helpful and told me to get things that I would never have bought on my own. Makeup and photos are done in 2 separate locations and both were very easy to find. Rosie met me downstairs once I let her know I had arrived and she is so sweet!! I told her how my hair liked to misbehave and she was able to tame it! My hair won't hold a curl to save its life but the curls stayed!! Once I arrived to the second location JP was so professional and went over everything with me and what to expect. He even asked me what kind of music I liked. I was so nervous in the beginning but he made me feel so comfortable and confident. JP was was always cracking jokes and giving me sneak previews of the pics. The make up was intense, the hair amazing, posing was crazy sometimes but I kept telling myself I have to trust the process! Be prepared for a workout in posing, it left my legs shaking. When I got to see the proofs I couldn't believe that was me! Hair, makeup, posing, all of it put together. I felt like a healthy, confident, strong and sexy woman again. Thank you so much for an awesome experience JP and Rosie!! I don't usually post reviews, but this is one experience that I wanted to share. I'm a mother of 5 and a grandmother. And anyone that has had kids, knows what it's like to wake up every morning, looking in the same mirror day after day, seeing all the imperfections and wondering if you are enough. It's been one week since my photo shoot with JP and I'm still on a high! Like many women, I've been following JpMoulin Photography on IG for at least 2 years. I finally decided to take the leap and booked a shoot in celebration of Mother's Day's. Our correspondence was smooth and Jp helped me feel comfortable with my wardrobe choices. On the day of the shoot, I met up with Rosie, Jp's sweet and beautiful wife. She greeted me with the warmest welcome and made me feel at ease while she did my hair and makeup. In fact, we talked and laughed so much it felt like I was with a long time girlfriend! At the shoot, JP was a perfect gentleman. I'm not a model so I needed his direction. He is mindful of his words and actions, never once touching me, and kept his suggestions within my personal boundaries. I appreciated him talking me through the entire shoot and directing me on my poses. Absolutely professional! I have already received my final photos and I can't be more ecstatic how it came out. He captured everything we talked about- classy, sultry, sassy, and fierceness in my eyes. Jp understood the assignment!! It is an investment in yourself. Something you will not regret doing for yourself. Thank you Jp and Rosie for a wonderful experience. I can finally say, I shot with JP! Until next time (that's right! There will definitely be a next time), Mahalo read more

If I could give JP & Rosie 10 stars I would!!!! I've been following these two fabulous gems for a few years now......and what was supposed to be done 3 Years ago for my 40th birthday to myself after having 5 kids.....turned into a long wait because I had to cancel cause of covid, and then cold feet and self doubt, like I need to lose weight, I'm too fat, and that voice in my head telling me maybe u should wait....until a few months ago, I started realizing we need to love ourselves no matter what......and so I've been on this journey of doing things that make me happy, and learning to love myself again. This was our third photography session with JP and the second in our home. The experience is always wonderful, and we have an adrenaline high for at least 24 hours after the shoot... and even before we see all the shots! Throughout the photo shoot he explains how the poses and the lighting enhance the shot. He shows us the differences in lighting in shots on his camera as the session progresses. He is respectful of us and our desires in wardrobe, photo shoot themes, and poses. He never touches a person while posing them without asking. We love his work and the way he captures the best of us. To paraphrase Tina Turner... JP is simply the best! J and A read more

JP is absolutely amazing. From the moment you arrive he makes you feel at ease. The attention to detail he has is incredible- from before the photoshoot until after the shoot. Getting ideas of what will work best from pictures you send him before the session, then he can get ideas for your best angles. I also love that you can show him outfits and he will give feedback on what will look the best in pictures. During the shoot he has his eye on every tiny detail. JP's instructions get you into poses that make you look incredible with angles that you didn't know you had/have. He uses the lighting to help emphasize your best features. I would love working with JP in the future and recommend anyone looking for a sexy shoot to work with him as well. read more

Hands down, NO questions asked... THE BEST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! (Here we go....) I've been following JP for over 7 years now, shortly right after my divorce of 15 years. Yes, I wanted to do a revenge photo shoot. JP asked then what kind of shoot I wanted. Slightly intimidated and still coming out of that shell... I said.. "Umm, maybe a sexy lingerie, soft, subtle boudoir shoot." Not quite sure how much revenge you can get outta that. Soo, literally, years past as I continue to follow and drool over all the new shoots JP has taken. Every year, JP texts me to see if I'm ready for the shoot... no, not yet, I wanna lose some more weight, saving up money, blah, blah, blah.... JP holds his first #MomToModel contest for 2023 on IG. Is this the time?? I stayed up all night and tagged everyone on my IG list, from A to Z! I think I caught his attention Guess what!?!? I was one of the WINNERS!! This year, I turned 45. Scheduled the photoshoot a week after my birthday I had under 60 days to prepare myself. Two months of anticipation Back and forth texts of outfits, shoes, photo inspirations... then it all started to come together. Day of shoot, hecka nervous First met Rosie, sis and I talked story like we knew each other like little girls. Rosie's Spotify mixx was on point (took me back to those days). Then shengot quiet...Glam time...Make-up and hair. Talk about looking like a Asian Barie Doll Breath taking once she revealed my look. Now, off to the location....meet JP, and as nervous as I was, this big teddy bear of a guy, just made me feel soo comfortable and at ease. Game planned the "outfit changes" and then started off with a few photos to break the ice As the photo shoot went on, I became more and more relaxed. JP is total professional. Help with all the outfit changes, made sure all the straps and chains were positioned correctly, and posed me in the most flattering positions. Four scenes later...and it was over. I can't believe how fast it went! As I was packing all my things, JP asked how I felt about the photo shoot.... and then I begin to ball out crying . Good, happy tears, tho. The feeling is beyond #TotalWomanEmpowerment Never have I felt soo confident in my own skin, so strong, so BOLD. This photo shoot is an experience like no other. #UnapologeticallyMe #OpenThatPandorasBox Believe me, you'll see more of me...I will definitely be booking more sessions with JP and Rosie #BestBirthdayEver Honestly, I don't know how I'm going to choose from all my photos read more

I had my first shoot with JP last weekend! It has been something that I've wanted to do for a long time and was finally presented the opportunity! I opted for the package without hair and makeup as I was on a budget and had other resources. JP was waiting outside upon my arrival where I followed him into the house for a short tour and discussed our ideas. It was SO MUCH FUN!!! I felt completely at ease the entire time, JP was very attentive and considerate ensuring my comfortability, and the shoot moved very fluidly from start to finish. There were so many factors holding me back from taking the plunge but, I'm grateful for my partner's encouragement and JP angles expertise! I'M SO STOKED to see my photos and already brainstorming for a future shoot! MAHALO JP!!! 10/10 AMAZING EXPERIENCE from beginning to end!!!! read more

Wow! If I could post my experience with just one word. That would be it. Just "wow"! I wanted to do something special for my boyfriend for Valentines Day. He is away at military training and we haven't seen each other for months. I wanted to send him photos of me.... I wanted it to be special, professional, tastefully sexy and provocative (but not pornography provocative). I was really nervous about participating in a photo session like this. Especially because I am self-conscious about my body, face, legs, belly... posing... just everything. I browsed through several photographers websites and the reason I picked this company was not only for their before and after photos! But their reviews portrayed their company as being professional and "comfortable". I also loved the idea that this is a family business. His wife Rosie turned me into a super model with her magic makeup brush! haha I absolutely loved the whole experience. First you start with hair and makeup. Rosie did an amazing job on my makeup. As Rosie did my makeup, she talked a little about herself, JP, their family and of course she played some old school jams!!! This helped to calm my nerves about the whole photoshoot. After hair and makeup was done, you drive out to the photoshoot location, which they will give you directions to, on the day of. As soon as I got to the photoshoot location, I got really nervous again. JP introduced himself and showed me around the location. If you knew my profession.... I'm not supposed to show fear. I think he could tell I was extremely nervous. JP explained the whole process, his ideas for the photoshoot and the entire time he really made the focus on me. JP was professional and complimentary. JP made me feel beautiful in front of the camera and comfortable even with the back bending poses to get the right angle. Mentally, he made me feel comfortable and beautiful in my skin. I later got the proofs and the final photos. I am still in disbelief that the sexy woman in the photos is me!!! Needless to say, my boyfriend LOOOOOOVES the photos. He won't shut up about it (and I haven't even showed him the risque ones yet!). Lets just say he's super super super excited to come home :) I'm already planning to do another photoshoot soon!!!! Thank you JP & Rosie for everything!!!!! read more

I was so nervous setting up my shoot with JP - I pretty much never have my photo taken. The last time I had pictures professionally taken was my senior photos more than 20 years ago!! To say I was a ball of nerves when I showed up for hair and makeup is a massive understatement! From the moment I met Rosie I felt so welcomed and at ease. She took such good care of me making sure my hair and makeup were done to absolute perfection! When she did the reveal I could hardly believe the woman in the mirror was me! Then I headed over to the location to meet JP and he immediately put me at ease and had me laughing and joking while we talked about the plan for the shoot. The whole time I felt so comfortable and the hours just flew by while we went through multiple outfit, shoe and location changes. I left feeling sexy, confident and beautiful - certainly not what my insecure self from earlier expected!! Then came the time for the photo reveals...and just WOW. Is that even me?! I never thought I could look and feel so sexy and confident in photos but JP has such a talent for bringing that out and photographing what HE sees not what you see. Absolutely an amazing and empowering experience- I'll for sure be back for another round of photos at some point!! Maybe with my husband next time!! Thank you JP and Rosie!! You really are the Dream Team!!! read more

JP and Rosie really make the entire process amazing. I've had print and editorial modelling experience, but the 3 boudoir shoots that I'd booked in the past were always underwhelming (skin lightened, photos unfocused or overly softened, photographers didn't highlight the best qualities that I specifically mentioned and wanted in my shots). JP listened to my very specific and extensive wants and highlights, and Rosie customised my makeup just right so I still felt like the best version of me, rather than a stranger I'm not happy with in my photos. Additionally, I have sensitive skin and fragrance allergies that I'd communicated in advance, and JP and Rosie coordinated makeup and hair products (and even new sheets!) with me in advance so I could spend the shoot non-sniffly and allergy-free! Rosie is magic with makeup and *such* a sweetheart. We talked about family, culture, dancing, kids, and all kinds of things during the session, and she regularly checked in to make sure nothing was irritating my skin or eyes. Most importantly, JP was incredibly friendly and easy to work with, professional, but also not shy about getting some more sexy and edgy shots that I wanted, for which I felt I'd been shamed or discouraged by other photographers in the past. All body positivity, all my best angles, *excellent* attention to lighting and shadows to highlight curves and musculature, and even catching tiny details like a tag sticking out or pointing my toes for better lines and muscle engagement. I'm so happy with the depth and composition of these photos. Instead of feeling like boring or standard shots, there is so much depth and textural interest in these shots. They feel dynamic and alive, and I've gotten great reactions while going through them ;) Cropping a "safer" version of one of my favourite shots for Yelp. read more

I had my budoir photo shoot w/ JP about a couple months ago. Let me tell you. That 8 day wait time for my pics was the longest 8 days of my life!!! I had a blast with Rosie, his wife, while she did my makeup. She made me feel so comfortable and then when that reveal happened.....OMG! I could not believe that was me! Then my shoot w/ JP....he seriously makes magic happen! My pictures are just so freaking amazing! I still look at them on the daily. And ladies (oh and gentlemen too), just a disclaimer that this experience will totally get you in the mood (OMG, did I just say that???!!!) My only gripe? My only gripe is that I want to do it over and over again!!!!! Thank you so much JP and Rosie for making me feel my sexiest EVER!!! I will surely be back again! read more

There's a reason why JP Moulin photography is the best! I have been thinking of doing boudoir photos for a while and even have it on my bucket list, so I decided to suck it up and just go for it and scheduled a week after my 40th birthday.  On the day if the shoot I was anxious and not gonna lie a little afraid not knowing what to expect, that was until I met Rosie, JP's wife and MUA. She has the gift of gab, great eye for makeup and eased the anxiousness away with her Ms Aloha attitude and before I knew it, it was time to drive to the location. Doing a boudoir puts you in a vulnerable space and JP did a fantastic job coaching me into poses that made me feel empowered and confident and most importantly comfortable without any awkwardness. He is a constant professional that has an eye for detail, knows how to accentuate your curves and disguise any flaws that you think you have. It's an experience that everyone should have at least once in their life. If you're on the fence about it stop thinking and just book it because I gurantee you'll have no regrets if you choose JP & Rosie! read more

Had such a unique and enjoyable experience getting to shoot with JP. Rosie did a beautiful job on my hair and makeup and also made me feel comfortable as we talked story the whole time. JP also made me feel comfortable and safe. They both are so talented! And they definitely know what they are doing! The pictures came out amazing! Thank you so much! read more

I've always been confident in my skin/body even after having 4 amazing kids, but not to the point of doing a boudoir shoot. It took a lot of coaching from my husband to go & do something different. I mean YOLO. After digging up the courage, I contacted JP. From the text we had I felt more & more at ease. Before shoot day we went over my clothing choices & choose a few that would be the best fit to showcase my curves. On shoot day I was feeling a little nervous but I knew I'd get through it with how comfortable JP made me feel. We started by putting on music of my choice & the rest came easy. He help me position my hands, my clothes, the lighting, the oil, the shower, the sheet's & everything else that day. It went by so smoothly. He made me feel sexy, yet not over doing it- you know what I mean!! If you're still thinking about doing a shoot with JP.... stop thinking & just do it- YOLO!! Crazy second part to this shoot was after receiving my photos (about 8 days later) my husband wished I did more in my shoot. I was surprised. I was trying to keep it a little "covered up". I mentioned this to JP and with no hesitation he offered me to come back for a follow-up shoot to take a few more shots to make my husband even happier than he was with the first bunch of Photos. I gladly accepted and I was able to get these VERY, VERY sexy photos done for my husband (lucky man). Thank you so much JP for going above and beyond. read more

I had the BEST experience with Rosie and JP. I had heard of JP and saw his photos on social media but never thought I could do something like that. After much encouragement from my husband and him basically just booking it for me as a gift for himself , I did it. And to be honest I initially dreaded it. I saw those pictures of those ladies and they looked so beautiful and sexy and I didn't feel that that was me or something I could pull off. I was very anxious leading up to the day of the shoot. The moment I met Rosie to do my hair and makeup I was immediately put at ease. She just has this positive, warm, and friendly vibe. On the daily I'm a tinted sunscreen and some lipstick and go kind of girl so I told her I didn't want too dramatic makeup. And WOW, she is truly an artist. My hair and makeup was so beautiful. And JP was just as amazing as Rosie. I felt so comfortable with him and trusted his vision and direction and the pictures came out so much more beautiful and sexy and classy than I could have imagined or hoped for. From beginning to end JP and Rosie were the absolute best. They are number one in the business for a reason. The whole experience was so amazing for me, so much so that we already scheduled another shoot in a couple of months and I can't wait. Every woman should feel this beautiful and sexy and then have the pictures to document it. I can not recommend Rosie and JP enough. read more
