Here's a breakdown of my experience: The consult: Emily reached out to schedule a consult call shortly after I submitted my inquiry. The consult call was informative and Emily answered all questions that I had. She was very personable and easy to talk to from the get go. And she really set the tone that this would be a very empowering experience for myself. Following the consult, Emily sent over a questionnaire to be completed prior to the shoot. I loved that the questionnaire gauged the level spicy I was comfortable with, asked about what I love about my body, and even about the things I wasn't fond of. The day of the shoot: call time was at 9 AM. I was greatly warmly and already loved the vibes Emily had set. Hair and makeup was done by Yana, who was as amazing as Emily. MK Boudoir also has a client closet that was very size inclusive! So if you're a plus size girly like myself, I promise you there's something in there for you before starting the shoot, I was given a mini modeling lesson. I was quite anxious going into it because I had never been the most confident girly. But Emily gave me a pep talk reminding me that this was going to be an empowering experience. Once we got the ball rolling, the anxiety went away almost instantly. She would hype me up throughout the shoot and just overall made it such a fun, healing experience. And after much deliberations, we finally opted for Bianca Photography after seeing all of her finished results on social media, along with all of her rave reviews from past clients. As this was a destination wedding for us, all of our communications were primarily via email. Bianca was always very responsive and helpful in her replies, which definitely gave us a lot of reassurance during a very hectic time in which so much planning, coordination, and decisions needed to be made. On the actual day of, Bianca and her team worked tirelessly through a grueling half day session taking endless photos for various group photos, attire changes, a tea ceremony, reception dinner, and of course, the actual wedding ceremony itself. Bianca was excellent in her verbal cues on where to position ourselves, where to look, and how to pose. And they coordinated seamlessly with the videography team as they shot videos alongside them. We asked her if we could do some pictures in the Carol in my husbands car - 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee - and she totally went with it. Those pictures are some of my hubbys favorite. Which by the way -- some men are really reasonable when it comes to taking pictures. Some are not. My husband is the latter. And Randi handled him like a champ!. It just asked you the bride, about which pictures are important to you. Also it ask specifically what family groupings you want. Which was helpful in communicating to my family. The day of - Randi was STELLAR!! She showed up an hour earlier than I asked her to be and she like made the venue owner show her around and scope out all the best spots. She even found spots the venue has never used before which we really special to us. She was the reason why we where ahead of schedule that day. SHE WORKS FANTASTICALLY FAST! She maneuvered our bridal party & family expertly. That way we had tons of time for our couple shoot that was on the freaking mountain top she found with the most perfect lighting. Also we all got to travel on go-karts to the spot that was really fun and kinda of adventurous. Which is exactly what you wanna be on your wedding day, right?!! She stayed through the entire reception which was awesome because she captured amazing night photography of our guests doing their best dance moves!. She even sent us a sneak peak of the wedding album the next day and that we cherished until she sent us the full wedding album. WHICH I DIDNT STOP LOOKING AT!! It been three months later and I still find myself staring at them. THEY ARE BETTER THAN WHAT WE COULD HAVE IMAGINED!!
