Noelle owner of Sweet Rain Media was an absolute heaven sent when it came to my experience of making a promotional/marketing commercial for my Pole dancing business, Fit for a Goddess. I initially wanted a new and updated commercial for my business with the intent of showing the video at the event. I loved it so much that it also became my video for my website. We had our first meeting and she was able to ask me questions and find out about my business, the structure of it in what we offer as well as the philosophy behind what we do. She is extremely personable and friendly while still being respectful and professional, which is a tricky balance. I was referred to Noel by another photographer/videographer who had so many great things to say about her. Which immediately made me feel good that she is well respected among her peers in industry. She helped me plan and shoot my surprise marriage proposal in Honolulu (where I have never been). She had never shot a proposal before but it didnt stop her with coming up with creative ways to make the most of our special moment. Our wedding was fast approaching and we didn't have a videographer booked yet when my wedding photographer suggested Noelle. Because our wedding date was so close, my husband and I talked to Noelle twice on the phone and decided to book her. We are SO glad that we did! First of all, having a wedding video done is an absolute must!!! Initially my husband and I went back and forth on whether or not to spend the money on it- but when we actually got the video from Noelle I can't believe we ever even debated whether or not to hire a videographer at all! Watching the moments back from our day the way Noelle put the video together along with the music was one of my favorite moments about our wedding!! I can't tell you how invaluable it was to actually see video footage and not just photos. The video is really where the magic is. She did such a fantastic job, she really blew us away the way she captured the moments of our day as magically as they felt to us. We worked with Noelle in collaboration with another photographer Hailey Faria for a family video shoot/photo shoot on the beach in Hawaii. We were celebrating our daughter's second birthday and homecoming to meet Hawaii relatives. It is rare to find a videographer who specializes in family shoots, not just wedding videographers and I was impressed with the samples on her website. I spoke with Noelle at great length several months before our trip and she was very helpful in brainstorming ideas. It wasn't possible for us to have one big family event (like a typical Hawaiian first birthday luau) and we considered doing a "day in the life" (Next trip, let's try that, Noelle!). In the end, we decided on a joint photo/video shoot which I at first thought would be redundant - but wasn't. Noelle captured memorable video footage of the shoot that even the most gorgeous still images can't capture - for example, the expression on my daughter's face as the waves crashed - a look of surprise, then fear, then sheer delight - priceless! The turnaround time was quick and we are pleased with the end product. Throughout the process, Noelle has been very responsive to e-mails and phone calls.
