We hired Visionari for our wedding photo and video, and they exceeded every expectation. Jason and Joel were specifically great. Being bilingual in English and Japanese, they guided my wife and me through poses seamlessly and kept everyone comfortable. They were very professional and effortlessly adapted to changes in the hectic wedding schedule. The finished work: stunning, timeless portraits, authentic candid shots, and a cinematic highlight video that captured the entire emotion of the day. Huge thanks to Jason and Joel for going above and beyond! read more

From the initial contact to our wedding and beyond, Visionari was an absolute pleasure to work with. Photography and videography were one of the most important parts of our day, and we were able to relax and enjoy the moment feeling confident that their team would do an amazing job! From the very beginning, Leanne was so kind and responsive, patiently answering all of our questions in a friendly and timely manner. We loved Jason Deng's work, and she was able to secure him for our date as well as set up a quick initial video call with him. On the day of, Jason and his second photographer Kristin were prompt, professional, and so easy to work with. Jason does a great job of giving everyone clear directions in front of the camera, and makes the process enjoyable and easy. He even asked if I had a preferred side of my face (I do) and positioned the shots to accommodate that. This attention to detail was something that we really appreciated. The photos themselves turned out incredible and we're beyond happy with the result. It's exactly what we were envisioning - natural and warm, yet intentional, shots that capture the story of our day. Although the turnaround time is quoted as 6 weeks in the contract, they finished ours in nearly 3, which is insanely fast. We even had a request for the editing style which Leanne relayed to the team and it was well reflected in the photos we received. Even though our Kahala package only included 48 4x6 prints, Visionari sent us more than double that - they printed around 100 "highlight" photos. For the video side of things, Sam was equally as professional, friendly, and seamless as the photographers. We opted for the ceremony only package, and the 20 minute-long video is the perfect record of our ceremony. The shots and audio are crisp and clear, and the editing is clean. The final video was high-quality and well put-together without being overdone. We prefer a simpler, straightforward feel for video, so this perfectly aligned with what we were looking for. Overall, Visionari captured our day beautifully. We're so happy we chose them and would gladly recommend their amazing service to any couple! read more

we are from seattle so we were really nervous to book a photographer sight unseen. and let us tell you... they were AMAZING! we wanted to create our own wedding package and it was seamless. they weren't pushy at all, just very helpful. we got the package we needed for our micro wedding and the Joel, the photographer was awesome. He was friendly, accommodating, and so talented! We loved every interaction we had with Visionari. They were always responsive and made sure to follow up with us on shots we wanted. cannot recommend them enough! read more

If I was able to give Visionari 10 stars, I without hesitation would! Visionari was both my photographer and videographer for my 20 year vow renewal in June 2025. I'm from the Chicagoland area, so it's sometimes a crap shoot working with someone you've never met, but they're the real deal. I first got the pictures from the event and they were beautiful. I appreciate the highlight-reel photos that captured the best of the best of the event, which was well organized. But what by far blew me away was the video. I seriously watched the 4-minute highlight reel they put together 25 times over a course of a week. My friend coined it right - it was my very own "Love Commercial". I even watched the other marketing videos they had displayed on their website to compare. I honestly feel like mine was even better than those... and I'm amazed at how they - in my opinion - outdid themselves! If you're in Oahu, these are the folks to use! They beautifully captured one of the best days of my adult life. read more

We are so happy we went with Visionari for our wedding photos! I was initially soooo stressed because photos were the number one thing most important to me for so many reasons. They're what you share with others who can't be there. They're how you relive your memories. They're what you'll look back on years from now and want them to be good. We found Visionari and their pricing was so good. The sample photos looked really nice too. We were able to meet with Leanne to go over all the logistics and we booked them. You can tell they are such a great company, very organized. The communication is amazing! So sweet and prompt. The day of, we worked with Jason and Mitch and they were SO GREAT! They were so nice and made us feel happy and relaxed. They got so many beautiful shots I didn't even know about at the time as well. We got our photos back and they came out so lovely! I'm very very happy with them and would love to work with them again, maybe for some anniversary photos! read more

I am so incredibly grateful to the Visionari team who not only did an incredible part on photography/videography at our recent Aulani wedding, but also how they went above and beyond throughout the entire day. Jason, Enzo, Derek, and the sweetest lady, whom I didn't catch her name, helped us the day of the wedding. Jason was so sweet, creating positive energy with everything we gave him. He constantly apologized when I was sweating in the heat and would reassure me things were going to be finished soon. Honestly, apologies were not needed because I felt they worked tremendously hard that day so it was my apologies to them for being so patient with us (especially when we forgot to send you our photography list and you helped organize all the different groups to photograph after the ceremony - everything done on the fly with nobody forgotten. You guys are seriously pros!) Enzo was hilarious the entire time. He helped release a lot of my nerves that day. Whenever it got hot, he handed me an electric fan, which was godsend! His smile and positive energy really made me feel like we were well taken care of, which we really were. Derek worked so hard the entire day. My husband said he loved his sense of humor, how down to earth he was, and how comfortable he is to talk to. The lady who did videography - I'm so sorry I didn't catch your name but you were someone I loved being around. My dress was not easy to fit a microphone on and you somehow found a way to do so! I ended up having it on the entire night and getting my sweat on it. When you asked for it at the end of the night, I was ashamed of how sweaty I was and tried to wipe it all off, but you were so kind to smile and say it's okay. Thank you for also helping us get the water boiling for our tea ceremony. That was completely not within your job description but you were just that kind. Lastly, thank you for helping us figure out how to put on the fashion tape. It was evident we had zero experience with it but you were able to swiftly apply it on. Again, that wasn't within your job description but you were just that kind. We received our sneak peek pictures within a week and they turned out so incredible! I loved them all so much! I'm so grateful to Visionari for making our day so wonderful with how inconspicuous they were during our wedding while taking the most breathtaking pictures. In addition, they all went above their call of duty to ensure everything went smoothly. Even when we ran behind schedule by 30 minutes, they were so flexible to accommodate and switch things around. What a truly incredible group we were paired with. My husband and I still discuss what a friendly group you all are. In a way, it felt like you were our close friends joining us on our wedding day to celebrate. We were SO COMFORTABLE with you guys and you were all genuinely happy to be with us (or is that just my assumption? :) Nonetheless, I give Visionari the highest commendation. Please don't hesitate to work with them. You will be blown away! P.S. Thank you for supplying the clip when my husband's Chinese outfit was far too loose on him. We were just going to let it be but being the perfectionists you all are, you were prepared with the clip to make everything look fitted on him. You guys are seriously awesome. read more

VISIONARI ARE TRULY SUPERB! When we first got engaged the first topic for discussion was where to get married! Hawaii has always been a very special place for us having travelled there together twice. Having an Overseas wedding has many benefits, but it also does bring many challenges such as finding companies and suppliers that you have had no previous experience with. Adding to this is the fact you don't get the opportunity to meet with the vendors prior to finalising a booking /service. Fortunately we were extremely fortunate to find Visionari photography through the recommendation of the Sheraton hotel where we had our wonderful wedding in late August this year. From the very first contact we had with the company, notably Leanne they were wonderful to deal with and made us feel very comfortable in selecting Visionari . Other companies that I had contacted were much more focused on securing our business straight up as opposed to making us feel comfortable and answering all our questions. Coming from a sales background myself I have no issue with people / companies asking for the business but the key is to earn it first which Visionari certainly did! Prior to the big day Leanne and the team accommodated our request to meet with them once we arrived in Waikiki to run through everything. We were even lucky enough to meet our photographer Jason Deng. From the moment we meet him Jason made us feel very comfortable and happy with our choice. Weddings are without doubt stressful no matter how organised and well planned you are. The Visionari team ensured there was clear communication in the lead up to the wedding which was fantastic! On the day Jason was amazing ensuring everything ran smoothly and also assisting with our 2 year old who at times needed coaxing/redirecting into the photos. His patience and professionalism was second to none! I can't emphasis enough the importance of finding the right photographer and cannot recommend Visionari and Jason highly enough. We cannot wait to return to Oahu and meet with Jason and the team for some more family photography! read more

My husband and I got married at The kahala, and visionari was on their preferred vendor list. My event coordinator was trying to push Derek Wong photography, but I decided to go with visionari bc they have a beautiful portfolio on their website. Our photographer was Jason, and he definitely deserves a 5-star rating! He was very professional and easy going. Not only he took pictures of the poses I wanted, he also suggested some good ones. My ceremony was a bit longer than I expected, so we did go over our time. He was very patient, he made sure I got all the pictures on the list. read more

When we were first given the list of "recommended photographers" from our wedding site, Visionari was the first website we stumbled across. We were INSTANTLY in love with their photography! Our communication was a bit fumbled from the start and being a destination wedding for me, I was a bit skeptical about their professionalism. But Ryan did everything he could to ensure that I would get nothing but professionalism and quality pictures, and I'm sure glad I chose them! Their photography is seamless and unobtrusive. We could have gone through our whole ceremony without knowing they (Ryan and Lisa) were around. But after we received our CD of our wedding pics, they were covering it from every angle! Our shots came out beautifully! Our favorites were the pictures after the ceremony when we took sunset shots on the beach and on some rocks. They were able to capture the lighting beautifully and choose great poses that really enhanced the natural beauty of our surroundings, which was sooo important to us being it was a destination beach wedding. Ryan and Lisa were such a pleasure to work with and very patient with our (sometimes uncontrollable) family! Lol We are very happy with our amazing pictures from Visionari and so pleased they were able to photograph our special day! read more

We could not be happier we chose Visionari for our wedding photography and videography. The photo/video package price was very reasonable, and we also received a discount since they are a preferred vendor with Aulani. To start off, corresponding with Leanne was amazing. She always responded within 1-2 business days and was super sweet. I knew we were in good hands just from my interactions with her. Day of the wedding, I was pleasantly surprised when a team of 4 showed up! We only expected two photographers and one videographer, but an additional coordinator was present to help streamline everything. Unfortunately, I don't remember the coordinator's name, but our two photographers were Ryan and Ryan and our videographer was Urara. Besides being an amazing media team, everyone was so professional and nice. Unfortunately, our wedding coordinator was pretty much MIA the whole time before the ceremony, but the Visionari team stepped in and made sure we stayed on schedule. They kept things on time, but it never felt like they were rushing us. I did not expect them to take on that extra responsibility, so I was super appreciative. I loved how the process was seamless and it never felt like I was being forced to pose or do something for the camera. Both Ryans and Urara made it very natural and mainly focused on shooting in the moment. I also can't emphasize how sweet everyone was. We were shooting on pretty sharp beach rocks at one point and I took off my heels for stability, so the team offered me their camera bag to stand on so my feet wouldn't hurt! I thought that was so thoughtful and sweet of them. One request I had was if we could record our harpist playing our processional song for our video. I wasn't sure if it was possible, but Leanne said she would ask Urara and see if it would be possible. Luckily, Urara said yes and was able to incorporate the recording in our video! It's that sort of service that made Visionari stand out as one of my favorite vendors we hired for our wedding. We got the final products 1 month after our wedding, which was a lot quicker than I expected (they quote 6 weeks in the contract). I was blown away by the quality of the photos and videos. To be honest, Visionari has a slightly moodier aesthetic than we wanted, so I had asked if our photos would be edited to be more film-like and bright. Leanne conveyed our request to the editing team, and they executed perfectly! I was also worried the video be awkward to watch since my husband and I are quite awkward, but it was edited to be so romantic and touching. We could not have been happier. I 100% recommend Visionari - wedding, family photos, engagement photos, anything! I would gladly work with them again and hope to do so soon! read more

We asked Ryan and his crew to take engagement pictures in addition to pictures of our ceremony and reception. Not only were the pictures amazing, their experience was integral to the success of our wedding. They found some amazing backdrops for our engagement shots (and that's saying a lot for the already scenic Hawai). At the wedding the crew was there for us in so many ways. One example was Ryan bringing me a cooling towel so I didn't sweat through my shirt in the Hawaii heat. Also when it was time to cut the cake my wife and I had no idea what to do with our hands. Ryan walks over and puts our in the correct position. They were super professional and extremely comforting. They made us feel so calm on our big day and for that we can't thank them enough. read more

I truly wish there was a greater button than 5 stars. They need a too infinity and beyond stars!!(: Beyond Blessed to have worked with this team!!(: let me start by saying Jason, Kristin, Urara were all sent to our wedding and are beyond angels(: they took there time with us made us feel at home didn't make anything feel awkward, it honestly felt like family, when Jason started to take all our photos he was very aware of my vision since I love photography and videography personally. Jason truly took his time to capture the love I have for photos that I consider moments being paused in time. Jason directed me how to and when to smile since having cameras on me isn't something I'm use to compared to being the one behind the camera. Kristin honestly helped me so much with trying not to freak out since I was so nervous for the big day she talked me through the day helped me to feel beautiful in every way. Kristin honestly was beyond amazing such a kind soul she helped my mom and sister get my corset onto my back properly she put her camera down to help me get into my dress with no problem. Kristin kept capturing every moment I couldn't even express my gratitude for her capturing. Jason kept reminding me to breathe since I forgot numerous of times since it's so much going on. Jason, Kristin, Urara are beyond angels they made my wedding and the entire day the best day of our lives. The way they story tell through music and film is unlike anyone else. I honestly felt that they have made me a Disney Princess and captured and directed and produced my own fairytale wedding, which they did beyond this universe. Me and my husband are beyond blessed and grateful to have worked alongside them all since they truly understood the vision and the passion that I have for what they do. I am looking forward to having them around in our lives for years to come with the next milestones regardless of what it is. If you want to feel loved, taken care of, and feel like you walked into your own Fairytale Of a Happily Ever Forever Wedding please choose Visionari. They blessed us so much with there humility and there presence to make me feel like I didn't need to worry about anything but smiling all day and making my husband feel comfortable and feel like he could relax instead of be stressed because they lead us through each pose and each different thing throughout the night without any hesitation I don't know what else I can say but they blessed us the experience with them was one I prayed for and they truly beyond truly exceeded all expectations and I cannot wait to call them again for the next milestone in our life read more

From start to end the Visionari team was nothing but spectacular to work with. Leanne made the entire process EASY. Jason and Enzo were my day of photogs, and they were beyond amazing!!!!! They were patient with everybody, especially me...The bride that had a hundred loose ends to tie one hour before cocktail hour begins. They put their cameras down and helped set up guest tables! I just couldn't believe how accommodating they were! All my guests couldn't stop raving about how great they were. So here I am, writing this review because Visionari absolutely deserve it! People need to know how happy I was selecting them to shoot my wedding reception. I'm still waiting for final photos which is promised 5-6 weeks. I can't wait to see the final product! Thanks Leanne, Jason, & Enzo!!! read more

We are so glad we decided to go with Visionari as our photographer/videographer team!!! We got married a month ago, and from the very beginning Leanne was super communicative and helpful with finding the right package for our wedding. They were so flexible with adjusting our time frame to fit our budget, and really helped us plan everything out to make sure we had a timeline that would let us capture everything we wanted. On the day of the wedding, Mitch and Natsumi were AMAZING photographers. They were so friendly, easygoing, and professional. They helped everyone feel so at ease and have fun taking pictures, and setting us up in the best lighting and positions without making anything feel stiff or unnatural. Urara was also very polite and professional, filming us constantly without ever intruding or taking the focus away from what was going on. They all worked so hard all day and night, and we were so grateful for the team before we even got our photos back. We just got our photos and our highlight reel, and we were absolutely THRILLED!!! We got them in 4 weeks even though the contract said it would be about 6-8 weeks, and they captured all the joy and love of the day in such a beautiful way. You could really see the natural beauty of Hawaii without taking the focus away from the people in the pictures. They were so thoughtful in the way they took every subject, and the editing team did a fantastic job with the colors and lighting. It felt like we could relive our big day again, and we'll have these memories for the rest of our lives. We are so happy with Visionari, and can't recommend them enough! read more

When you dream about the biggest day in your life being picture perfect, you always have to remember this is a once in a lifetime experience and you have to make sure every aspect of your wedding is seamless from beginning to end, and for the photograpers at Visionari, they capture those precious moments and then some. When we had guests from Osaka Japan looking for the BEST photograpers on the island to capture their wedding ceremony in Hawaii, there were many photographers to choose from, but when you are looking for photographers that separate themselves from the rest of the pack, there were two photographers that came to mind from more than a few sources, and the names Jon Lagon and Mike Joy from Visionari Photo came highly recommended. These two guys are very hard to make appointments with because they are highly sought after, not only by Japanese, but by people from Europe as well. These guys are so good, that people actually pay for their plane tickets and hotel stay just so they can capture and video that once in a lifetime wedding ceremony that people will cherish forever. Might i add that Jon and Mike also speak fluent Japanese as well which makes it easy for the Japanese clientele that ask for their services. I also wanna add that most of the Visonari staff is also fluent in Japanese as well. I have to tell you this about Jon and Mike. They do not come cheap. You pay a premium price for their services, but after looking at the finished product, the money that you invest is worth every penny. I have seen the pictures and video, and i was also a part of the wedding ceremony that was being done by Jon and Mike and the Visionari team and it was flawless and let me tell you, our Bride and Groom and other family members from Japan were in awe of the magnificent work done by the Visionari team. Here are some of the pictures that were taken by Jon and Mike.. They aim for perfection and beyond and that has convinced me that they are definitely the best in the business when it comes to flawless and extraordinary pictures that will always have a place in your heart till the day you die. When me and my Mi-chan flew to Osaka Japan for Kahori and Toshiyuki's formal wedding in Japan, we got to see the video which was produced by the Visionari team while they were in Hawaii and it brought tears to me and my Mi-chan's eyes because we were a part of that very special event. I have to hand it to the Visionari team. They strive to be the BEST, and in my eyes, if i could get married all over again, i wish i had chosen Jon and Mike to capture every moment of our wedding because of their quality of work they put into making that once in a lifetime a moment you will never forget. Visionari photographers Jon and Mike captured all the special moments from our wedding beautifully! We loved their photojournalistic style and artistic eye for lighting and reflections. It's important for us to feel comfortable with our photographers so we'd show our most natural smiles. Visionari's non-obtrusive professionalism was key to successfully capturing all the emotions from our special day. We've actually met with Visionari two years ago and wanted to book them immediately--we felt that we'd have good chemistry. Planning a destination wedding in Honolulu from New York was quite challenging, fortunately for us, Jon was always very responsive to questions and concerns. We were able to build the best photography package for our budget and needs. On our wedding day, Visionari was very friendly and patient as they started to shoot our individual preparation photos. They even arranged for our first look at a beautiful quiet corner in the Kahala Hotel & Resort and captured our surprised reactions perfectly. These guys worked non-stop and at the end of the wedding reception, presented us with an elegant collage of framed photos as a gift! It was a really nice surprise and a breathtaking preview leaving us and our guests wanting to see more! We've received many compliments on our wedding photos and everyone was blown away by our wedding highlights slideshow! Visionari is no doubt the most amazing wedding photographer . . . even when compared to all the elegant weddings that we've had the honor to attend in New York, Boston and Hong Kong! THANK YOU Jon and Mike! And Mitch (lighting)! You were truly a dream team to have at our wedding and we LOVE your creations!!! read more

I am a flake. Let me be clear, I am not always a flake, but I do flake about 65% of the time. I hate answering emails, phone calls, and texts. But, who can blame me when I take care of my very precocious and rambunctious almost 2 year old? Over the years I have worked with MANY photographers, and Visionari rates at the very top of my list. They handled my flakiness perfectly, did not make me feel like I was a pain the the neck when I was nearly 2 weeks late with my deposit or when we changed our wedding date...TWICE. Each time they spoke to me with professionalism, made me feel at ease, and took the time to help me plan a timeline! I know most photographers don't have, or make you feel like they don't have time to do that, or that it isn't their job. Ryan called me on several occasions to remind me about what needed to be done prior to the wedding, some helpful tips (i mean I've never gotten married before so how was i supposed to know that you should get the biggest hotel room possible to fit 5 bridesmaids, 2 videographers, 2 hair and makeup people, and three photographers?), asked me where we would like to shoot our pre-ceremony photos, etc. Such a huge help! You will pay a PRETTY PENNY for them to capture your special day, but, it is worth every, single, cent. Even though I spent an arm, a leg, and a few fingers, I have the peace of mind knowing that I am working with professional and creative people. I haven't received my photos yet, but that's because it takes 8-10 weeks and we just got married on Sunday. Can't wait to see the finished product and when I do, I'll be posting them here! Thanks Ryan and the visionari team! read more

I will preface this review by saying that Visionari did not capture the photos at my wedding, however, this review is based on the work I've already seen and their unbelievable service and helpfulness that I have experienced first-hand. It is very clear that not only are they talented, they are willing to listen and provide the service that the client desires, not just what they want or are comfortable with. Specifically, I spoke to Ryan on several occasions and he took the time to ilsten to what I wanted and tried to accommodate me. Visionari was my dream photographer for my wedding, but because I was offered a "better" deal with another prestigious photographer, I went with him. That was my mistake and probably my biggest regret for my wedding, because the breadth and quality of the photos was just not there, at least in my opinion. Many of my friends have had their weddings shot by Visionari and I loved the style, the vision, the quality of the photos -- and they loved them too. Visionari captures everything -- the candids, the formals, the emotion of the day. I know now that they are worth every penny. Before my wedding, I did my research. I had a list of over 25 photographers, their prices, yelp reviews, and the like. I studied dozens of portfolios of the "top" photographers in the state. While Visionari's price was near the top of the list, in this case, you really do get what you pay for. If you are impressed with their work and are only hesitant to book them because of the price, like I was, my best advice would be to reconsider. Their engagement and wedding photos are superb and in my opinion, unmatched by any other photographer in the state. You don't want to be like me and have hundreds of uncaptured moments after your wedding day by picking a photographer who is cheaper. You can never get those images ever captured again. read more

Unbelievable! They are the best team to work with. Mike, Jon, Darren, and the rest of team were awesome...They were so easy to work with, so patient, never once complained. As a bride, your day is busy with everything going on. It's easy to forget that you want pictures here and pictures there and make sure you get all the family and blah blah blah. But they were really good about making sure it all gets done. They also gave me and my new husband pictures of the wedding that was in a frame & it was given to us the same night! along with pictures that they printed that all the family and friends could enjoy before they left the reception. Truly exceptional! My guests told me it was like having papparazzi at my wedding. Hard working team, they stayed almost 12 hrs. We can't thank you enough! Love these guys! read more

My husband and I just received our photos online and the first word that came out of our mouths was "Wow!" We couldn't believe how well the photos looked! Mike and Jon nailed the lighting, camera angles, and most importantly captured the best candid moments which really meant the most to us. They were fantastic to work with! Detail-oriented, professional and just brilliant! Because nothing ever goes according to plan, we ran very late into the reception and they stayed the entire time to complete the photos of all the guests! I admire their work ethics and dedication. The slideshow was compiled perfectly! It captured the essence of the wedding with the best photos without dragging. It is just the right length with just the right flow and a great song choice. I can't say enough good things about these guys! read more

As a bride, it was my first priority to find the perfect team of photographers to capture a very special day for me and my hubby. We wanted the RIGHT photographers whom wasn't your cookie cutter photographer with boring and unnatural photographs. We needed a very creative eye, a modern and contemporary photographer that understood us. My husband and I were very very fortunate to have found Mike, Jon, Johnny and Ryan. I was very impressed with their work ethics, professionalism, creativity and their attention to details. We never felt like we were just clients. We had a FABULOUS engagement session in San Francisco and had so much fun and the pictures they created for us were absolutely stunning and beautiful. I am still completely in awe as I view the slideshow they created for us. I couldn't have been more excited to see what was in store for us on our wedding day in Sacramento, CA. Wedding day was absolutely nerve wracking, yet, they made me feel very comfortable by coming early and they were fully prepared for a long vigorous day. It was wonderful to have familiar faces whom we had so much fun be there to capture our every special moments. The wedding party loved working with them. It was more like an small intimate party than a wedding session photography. We had a fabulous time. I've had countless numbers of friends and families comment to me that the pictures were absolutely breath taken after viewing our engagement and wedding photos. The beautiful pictures were felt with such joy and emotions in every shots. It was an incredible gift to have found Visionari. It would have been the biggest regrets for us not to have them as our photographers and guest at our wedding. We were blessed to have Visionari be apart of our wedding and would recommend them to all our friends and families. I can't really say 'Thank You' enough to Visionari. I ADORE YOU GUYS and YOU GUYS ROCK!! read more

Our wedding was 1 year ago, August 16, 2013. I had written a review last year, but from the looks of it, I forgot to publish it, oops. So here we go: Everyday we get SO MANY compliments on our wedding photos. Lisa has a talented eye and knows how to direct to get the perfect lighting and composition. Shoot, Lisa went knee deep into the ocean - WITH HER EXPENSIVE EQUIPMENT - to capture me and my crazy bridesmaids, who were frolicking in our dresses, in the Hawaiian waters. During our reception many of our guest and myself barely noticed Visionari's presences snapping away --- they are like ninjas -- dressed in black and incognito, while capturing all the memories. My WHOLE family, plus wedding guest, LOVE LOVE LOVE Lisa and her crew. My dad wanted to have Lisa marry into our family, lol. He couldn't stop talking about how impressed he is with her and the professional cameras, tripods, etc. that Visionari used. My husband and I had the time of our lives at our wedding. We had no worries what so ever about our vendors, specially Visionari. They rocked our socks off with their professionalism, fun personalities, and ninja like ways with the cameras. Hands down the BEST photographers we have ever worked with. Captured the colors and memories of our day perfectly. Bottom line, they are well worth the money. I am so proud and honored to have had Visionari capture our wedding and also part take in the craziness at the reception, lol. Enjoy!!! read more

I wish there was a 5+ stars option. What else can I say about Visionari that every other bride hasn't already articulated? THEY ARE AMAZING!!!! If you are lucky enough to get married on Oahu, find the money to book Visionari. They are true professionals, friendly and the quality of their photographs speak for themselves. I will cherish the photos they captured for the rest of my life. We had guests from all over the world and they were so impressed with the team on the day of our wedding. Attaching one of my favorite photos from our wedding day. Right after our ceremony a small rainbow appeared. I was afraid it was going to rain, but Jon and Mike said not worry and to stand and smile. Jon and Mike - thank you so so so much for making our special even more magical!! read more

Visionari was definitely my first choice when choosing a photographer for our wedding (August 23, 2014). Looking at their albums of recent weddings they've done, I felt they captured all those moments perfectly. Ryan and his team at Visionar was the best decision when it came to hiring a wedding photographer! Here are just a couple reasons you should book them right now: They were very professional. Ryan was super communicative and makes the whole process easy for you. He made it so easy to ask him questions, work through contracts and book him. It was so smooth and clean. His professionalism also shows while taking pictures. He and his team arrived at the wedding venue on time. He kept everything flowing smoothly, sticking to the photo agenda as discussed. His team was awesome and kept us laughing. We love the artistic touch that VIsionari brings to the pictures. Ryan and his team looked at the environment and managed to find the best angles and artistic elements to make your pictures just that much more awesome. He is also amazing at group and candid pictures. It showed in the gift of photos they gave us at the end. We loved all the pictures and the positive feedback we have received from our guests has been incredible. We can't wait to see the all of the photos that we should be getting in the next weeks to come. We would book VIsionari again in an instant and we look forward to using the company again in the future for any of our picture taking needs. read more

Capturing the special moments of our wedding day was a priority when planning our destination wedding from CA and hence when it came to choosing our photographers, we thoroughly researched our vendor list. One look at Visionari's website and we were sold on their work. Their photojournalistic approach, experience and artistic vision are portrayed in the diverse montage of photos on their website. Through their photos, we felt as if we were in that moment experiencing the wedding with the mystery brides & grooms. Our experience with the Visionari team from the beginning of contracting to planning time lines and leading up to day of the wedding was nothing but exceptional. Their professionalism, work ethic, and amiable personalities were comforting and an ideal fit for our special day. On our wedding day Mike, Lisa, and Mitch really captured ALL the aspects of the day - the solemnity, the mystery, the anticipation, the joy, the party & the candid moments. Thank you Visionari... Not only did you document the day, you captured the story of our wedding. We can now vicariously relive our wedding day through your amazing work. Visionari photography truly defines the meaning of "a picture is worth a thousand words"... read more

We hired Visionari for our Oct 2014 wedding in Maui. Shout out to Mike and Jon who did a fab job capturing our wedding. They were (and probably still are) super nice, accomodating, talented and stealthy. I forgot they were there for the majority of our day. Our pictures turned out amazing. We get compliments on them all the time. I only have positive things to say about this company. I hope to use their services again in the future. read more

With so many talented artists out there, Jon, Mike and Hiko are in a league of their own. Hands down. They not only worked with us to build a special package that fit our budget but also provided beautiful photographs that captured our special day -- without being obtrusive. This team worked behind the scenes, had the utmost patience and professionalism and were just so much fun. They have a gift of making you feel so relaxed and comfortable... so much that we forgot about the camera! And the pictures -- I've mentioned before that they were beautiful. But they are also amazing. With their journalistic style, they captured the most beautiful candids. Jon, Mike and Hiro skipped most of their dinner to secretly print out some of the photos from our day and surprised us with a collection of framed prints for us to take home!!! It was a lovely and thoughtful gift and all of us, including our guests, were blown away. The wonderful news is that these guys are open to traveling to where you are getting married. If you can, adjust your budget and book them. I do not regret forgoing other things in my wedding to have such a beautiful set of photos. read more

I met with Visionari from a friend's suggestion, and immediately fell in love with them. Not only is their work simply amazing, they made me feel at ease right away and I knew they would be perfect to capture my wedding day without being intrusive. My photos are absolutely gorgeous! They are what you would see in a magazine. When I show friends my wedding album, they are completely blown away by the photos! I've had friends get married in Hawaii that hired other photographers and when they see my photos they can't believe how amazing they are compared to what their photographer gave them. I highly recommend Visionari!! read more

Jon and his team made our wedding day absolutely perfect!!! They were very friendly and knew exactly what they were doing - and the photos we received were absolutely gorgelous !! We purchased a package that comes with slideshow (we got within a week after the wedding), around 400 hard prints + a disk (came together in mail in a few weeks), and a coffeebook that we are still waiting for (will take about 3 months). Jon and one of his assistants speak Japanese, which greatly helped my side of the family from Japan communicate with them. They charge you more than the most competitors but it is totally worth the cost. At our wedding they even stayed longer than the contracted hours. read more

My husband and I came across Visionari as one of the preferred vendors with our wedding venue. During our initial phone meeting with Ryan, we felt confident in booking them as our wedding photographers...and we're so glad we did! Ryan was very professional and answered all our photo questions and concerns prior to our wedding date. We just got our photos and after looking through them, we were impressed with the special moments Ryan and his team captured, to the details of the decor (and even my awesome wedding shoes)! We love all our photos and we're so pleased to have chosen Visionari. Thanks again Ryan and team! read more

My wife and I were married at Ko Olina last September 2010. Visionari had the portfolio we were looking for. Their photos had timeless beauty. We talked to them over the phone and couldn't believe how easy they were to deal with. They customised our package to what we wanted and they were very patient with everything we asked them about. One the day of the wedding they were superb. They work around you and we didn't even feel like they were there during the ceremony. Our photos were ready in 1 Month where we have friends back in Australia who waited several months with other photographers to get their photos, so we were very happy with how quickly we got them. As for the photos, just jaw dropping. We have blown up so many onto large canvas. They honestly look like artwork. Visionari comes with the highest recommendation from us Aussies. read more

I have now had Visionari capture my wedding day & our first wedding anniversary portraits and I have nothing but high acclaim for these photographers professionalism and creative photography. Their photo's are works of art and still to this day, i love nothing more than looking at my wedding photos for which they captured the true essence of our day. I have friends that envious with the quality and the beauty of the photography and everyone comments on how unique these photographs are. Mike and Jon and truly talented photographers and you would NOT regret hiring Visionari to take your wedding photos. I look forward to them taking our first family portraits! read more

I still have a massive smile on my face thanks to Visionari. Ryan and Morgan captured our pre-wedding dinner and wedding day photos and we couldn't have been happier with the choice. Firstly, I am from Australia, so picking vendors was hard, but our wedding planner did recommend Visionari and after seeing the website and talking to Ryan on Skype, I felt completely at ease and it is clear these guys are professionals. My husband was never thrilled about being the centre of attention on our wedding day and getting so many photos taken of us but Ryan and Morgan were so relaxed and fun through the whole day that he soon forgot my husband was being photographed. Ryan knew in advance that we were having a post-wedding party back home and ensured the prints were ready by that day despite being so busy. They even gave us so many more prints than what was in our package so that was a big saving for us. Ryan provided some very good input to our timeline for our pre-wedding dinner so we could capture the best sunset photos on Waikiki beach - thank you! I looooved the photo slideshow they did for us on Vimeo. It was so special, and captured all of the highlights of the day. Visionari have an in-house album designer and we are currently getting our album designed ready for printing with Queensberry. That is another benefit of choosing Visionari. The photos are just so special and these guys use the best equipment and are highly skilled. They know all of the ins and outs of weddings and it seems they can deal with any sort of situation - nothing stops them from capturing the moment. I agree with other reviews when they say they are ningas. We forgot they were there!!!! Thank you again Ryan and Morgan for everything. You are great guys and so friendly. It was a pleasure working with you. read more
