I don't know where to begin with Kiwan, the head of this company. Throughout our wedding, my husband and I regret having this company for our wedding video and photographer because of Kiwan. He lost the first half of our wedding video footage that his crew took, which was so heart breaking since this was our wedding. We wanted everything to look back on for our memories of our special day. He gave us the run around with everything. Kiwan was initially responsive and helpful prior to our wedding. Then two months after our wedding we didn't receive our wedding album and video. I sent numerous emails, phone calls, and text messages to ask him where everything was since we already paid for the package prior to our wedding in hopes to get what we paid for. He didn't respond for a while then when he did he kept giving us dates with when he would sent it to us, but he never did. We also asked for a refund and he kept trying to play the victim about how he didn't have money to pay for his bills and how he only had a few dollars in his account. That to me was personal and not business let alone not professional at all! We too, were needing money because of the whole pandemic and costs of living. At times, he wouldn't respond at all, and we thought he was just going to take our money and not refund us, which stressed us out. He even mentioned taking us to claims court because he thought it would be better to take it to court instead of dealing with it. After a few weeks, we finally made a deal that he could pay us monthly until he had paid us out. In the end, he did pay us back, but all the stress we had to go through wasn't worth it and fair to us. He sent us the wrong album of another couple's wedding, which I felt bad for them as well! Almost one year after our wedding... we received our album and our low quality made video that didn't capture everything we wanted or talked about prior to our wedding. Thinking about this makes me sad and frustrated. But, what is done is done. It's just upsetting how everything went down. We were a couple seeking company to capture our special day, and everyone in his crew delivered, EXCEPT for Kiwan. If he just did his job this would not have happened. I know we received our refund, which thank goodness we did but I honestly just wanted the footage from beginning to end of our wedding day because it was so memorable and priceless. I'm just lucky that my friends took a few videos prior to the reception for our keepsake. Overall, if you want quality photos, albums, and videos for your special event... I DO NOT RECOMMEND using this company and pay the extra for another. Hope this helps!

UPDATING REVIEW:…read more Our wedding was August 28, 2022. Todays date is October 3, 2023 & received our wedding video. After text messaging Kiwan yesterday (multiple messages were sent prior, please look at previous review) Kiwan did text message back saying he sent an email with our wedding video in it. We did in fact receive our wedding video. 2 one being a highlight and the other a full wedding video. We are happy that we finally received it. So a recap, Kiwan and his team were friendly on the wedding day. Communication prior to wedding was good. We did receive our wedding pictures fast. After the wedding, communication was not so great on when we would receive our wedding video. Lots of promises we would receive it and it would get pushed to another date. But we are happy to have this closure, and to have our wedding video. I pray for Kiwan and his business, that you are able catch up on your work. I hope nothing but the best for your company. I pray for all his clients, that you are able to receive these happy moments & treasured moments.

Literally brought me to tears and I they sent it to me the next morning! It was great to have something to look at and hold me over before our pictures came in! Our pictures came a month later and the viewing gallery was stunning! The best value wedding photographer and videographer on the island! I can't wait for our full wedding day video :)

I blinked... And the wedding was over…read more My fiance and I spent countless months emailing/calling/texting vendors to make sure that we chose the right people for the job. We read through hundreds of reviews on The Knot, Wedding Wire, and Yelp. Since we live in the San Francisco bay area and the wedding was in Waikiki, it was especially difficult trying to sample food via FaceTime.... So much excitement planning the big day.... and it was over in an instant. And I don't recall if I cried when Kortni walked down the aisle. I don't remember what music was playing as we entered the reception. I don't know what the Lilikoi cheesecake tasted like. I don't remember if I got a dance with my mom. ... and that's where Albiola Photography and Videography came in. Jon captured every precious moment. His team of photographers and videographers answered all of the important questions. Yes, I cried. The entrance song was "Can't Stop the Feeling" from Trolls. No, because I didn't eat the cheesecake (or anything on my plate for that matter). Yes, I danced with mom to Boyz II Men. But let me rewind for just a moment... Jon is extremely responsive. And since there is a 3 hour time difference, it was nice to get a call before 9:00pm PST and not using the scale of "Hawaiian Time", which translates to 2 or 3 days later. LOL. Jon responded within the hour. He was very professional, easygoing, and worked within our budget. It didn't take long for us to sign the contract. Ok, back to the wedding... Kortni and I decided to write each other love letters on the morning of the wedding. My nephew (also my ring bearer) was practicing his reading skills by reading the letter aloud as I wrote. It was kinda embarrassing, because I was being cheesy, but cute to hear him read. As I was putting on the finishing touches to the letter, I looked back and noticed that Jon was capturing every minute on camera. It was a special moment and Jon caught it. Jon has a special knack of being at the right place at the right time and not being in the way. He's like a photo ninja. But when he needed to take charge of a situation, like the chaos between the ceremony and the reception, he was able to take charge and still be nice about it. He was assertive, without being an ass, so i guess that makes him just ertive. Jon & Crystal also took great sunset photos at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. Crystal caught several instances of us being our normal cute selves and just said "look up at me, guys". When we received a sneak peek of the photos, we agreed that the "look up at me, guys" pictures were some of our favorites. It was just us being dorks, but dressed a little nicer than usual. We were very surprised at how amazing the sneak peek of our photos looked and how quickly we received them (within a week). Kortni and I are very thankful for Jon, Crystal and the rest of the staff. Our photos and videos are amazing. See below. www.Mesascottohana.wedding https://vimeo.com/252007158 We highly recommend Albiola Photography and Videography to capture the precious moments on your special day. Blessings, Vince & Kortni

With the help of our amazing wedding coordinator, Karisa, we booked ARIA Studios on May 16, 2019. We were overjoyed that we got a professional photographer on such short notice and it was especially important to get these memories captured. Our wedding day came and I arrived at our venue. As soon as I stepped out of the car, Jess from ARIA Studios was there, snapping moments that I will remember for a lifetime. She was so kind and patient with my (now) husband and I (we are really not models). We loosened up with her gentle guidance and she even helped me convince my husband to get in the water for some photos. My mother's health declined quickly and so I asked for the photos of her from that day expedited, knowing full well that it might be an additional fee. I received the photos quickly and Mom was able to see them and enjoy them. Now our family will remember this day, my happiest day of my life, which I was able to share with my beautiful Mom. We have received all of our photos and Hubby and I could not be more happy with them. It's taking a lot of restraint not to be totally weird about it and print lifesize photos and put them all over the house. In any case, Hubby and I are doing a part 2 and have already booked ARIA Studios for that day (and asked for Jess specifically!). We can't wait because we know what a great job they do.

Thank you so much ARIA Studios!! We were referred to Aria by many, including my husband's cousin who works with Aria Studios. Their work is absolutely awesome and their team is awesome. Kolby, Kash, Holly & Jessica all flew to Maui the day of our wedding. The were very professional and very easy to work it. Jessica was the main contact and she responded to emails efficiently. About 4 days after our wedding, Holly was able to email us a couple of preview photos while they worked on editing the rest. We chose the Fusion package (Cinema 8 Hour Package, Same Day Edit and Photo 8 Hour Package). I am so amazed by the quality of their work and am amazed by how fast they can edit the videos to show in the Same Day Edit. And I absolutely love our Same Day Edit (https://vimeo.com/263970983), I watch it at least three times a week. It let's me relive this special day :) I would highly recommend using Aria Studios!!

They arrived well before their contracted time and stayed late to make sure they captured every last important moment--big and small. Have you and your significant other ever met another couple you wanted to be friends with forever?…read more We have and we found it in Kristy and Joel of Studio Red. Studio Red needs no introduction, no advertisement, and no promotion. Anyway, we booked Studio Red close to a year out from our wedding date (09/12/15). We've been planning our wedding for 16 years and knew we wanted to work with them 3 years ago when we saw their work at a friends' wedding. LOL, seriously! We were blown away by the quality and uniqueness of their cinematography. We were like spoiled brats in a candy store and we had to have them create something for us, no matter what. Not to mention Kristy and Joel are two AWESOME SAUCE people with morals and values we truly admire. Because we ordered the Love Story Feature, along with the Same Day Edit, we had to set time aside to film with SR prior to our wedding day. This part was so much fun!! We're neither an actor nor actress and feel awkward in front of a camera, but SR made the whole process enjoyable and made us feel completely comfortable. If you're unfamiliar with the filming process like we were, it can be long and repetitive. But, SR did not fail in keeping a live and upbeat environment. The end result was a 15 minute cinematic adventure of our love, and it was phenomenal. With front row seats to view our Love Story Feature and SDE on the day of, we honestly didn't know what to expect. We can only share these three facts: 1) we received over 50 compliments; 2) we watched our mini movie over 20 times; 3) it still brings tears to our eyes. What makes Studio Red different is their creative ingenuity, desire for innovation, and ability to adapt. They've created a new industry standard. If you are lucky enough to work with Studio Red, you will not be disappointed. One recommendation we'd give SR: Invest in human cloning. There simply isn't enough of their talent to go around and be shared with for the entire world! For goodness sakes people! Do not show a PowerPoint slideshow at your wedding. Kristy and Joel, we friggin love you!

Some of our guests are still talking about the SDE (same day edit) that they presented during our reception. Joel and Kristy were incredibly sweet, showed up on time, were professional, and filmed as discreetly as possible. They also worked well with our other vendors, such as our photographers from Dulce, which was important to us because everything flowed perfectly. I've watched all of Studio Red's videos and at one point, I was watching them again and again. I know it sounds a little obsessive, but their work is incredible. And it was important to me that we pick the right cinematographer to capture our day in a unique and special way. We had only met with one other cinematographer who is also well known for their SDEs. At the time, we hadn't discovered Studio Red yet and was about to book that other vendor, but by chance I found their website. I immediately knew that I wanted to book them when I started to cry while watching one of their videos. I wanted to evoke that same emotion from our guests. Watching our own SDE was surreal. It was like watching a movie. I still don't know how they do what they do. What really sealed the deal was the comments that we received from our guests. One of our guests said "I've never seen anything like that. Just amazing". Another guest said "The video alone was worth it." She knew how much went into the wedding plans so she thought it was all worth it with the video. Corresponding with Studio Red wasn't the easiest (they're very busy), but if you can be patient it is well worth the wait. They are reliable, professional, and so sweet. Thanks to them, our wedding was magical.
