HNL Studios...how can I even describe how God has blessed my husband and me by finding such an amazing business to handle our wedding photography/videography?   I initially found HNL Studios years ago through an old classmate of mine; I loved the style of her wedding photos and I wanted something similar for when I got married.  So I followed them on instagram.  Fast forward 4 years later and I got engaged.  I'm the type of girl who has had her dream wedding planned in her head since she was 6 years old and I just knew that I had to have HNL Studios to do photography/videography, so I literally contacted them and my dream venue within a week of getting engaged.  My husband and I got married exactly within a year of our engagement; during that time, Keshia and Charles made it almost effortless to plan our wedding.  They were always willing to answer any silly questions we had and we had great vibes during our planning meetings. Let's fast forward to the day of the wedding.  I have no idea how Charles and his team do it, but they made everything super easy and seamless.  The photographers and videographers know exactly how to direct the couple, wedding party, etc. especially when there are some super camera-shy people.  The videographers really know how to capture the couple's love story within a few minutes.  The photobooth staff was so professional and fun, it was such a big hit at the reception.  Not to mention the props are super fun!  Romeo Valentine was super great with emceeing/DJ'ing our reception - shoe game ftw!  Such a great team and professional staff! Fast forward to our gallery and wedding video reveal.  Again, I have no idea how they did it, but they managed to capture all the warmth and fun that we had on our wedding day.  It was so hard for me to pick only 120 pictures for our wedding album because so many of the pictures were spectacular and eye-catching.   I know that wedding photography/videography packages can be very expensive, but trust me, this was worth every single penny.  What's amazing about HNL Studios, is that weddings are THEIR THING.  The heart and intentionality that is put behind every wedding that they capture is evident in the quality of the photos and videos they produce. I booked them for my upcoming wedding and got the package that includes an engagement shoot. Keshia was so helpful since the very beginning. She is always checking on me to see if there's anything I need help with and with this pandemic, there have been many changes in plans for my wedding. :( But, HNL has been SUPER understanding and helpful. My fiance and I took our engagement photos in January and we LOVE how our photos turned out! It was exactly what I wanted and they captured both us and the beautiful scenery perfectly! I love that we get to know them (and vice versa) before the big day so we could both get comfortable around one another. My fiancé and I used HNL Studios for our engagement photos and worked with the owners, Nikki & Charles. They were amazing! I'm so happy with how our photos came out. We did shoots at multiple places for day and night photos and they were so patient with us lol it's so uncomfortable being in front of a camera and posing while trying to make it seem natural (way easier said than done) Since everything went so well, it was an easy decision to use HNL Studios for our wedding (photo, video, photobooth AND dj) and although we've had to postpone our wedding due to COVID-19, the HNL team has been more than accommodating. From booking to the day of my daughter's 1st birthday luau, the entire process was a breeze. Keshia responded to emails very quickly, usually within an hour (if not, it won't even be a full day without getting a response). The staff at the party came early to set up the photobooth and had it started up on time. They were also professional and very friendly. From the very beginning, HNL Studios gave us an experience of precision and professionalism. Offering photography, videography, photo booth and dj services. Inquiring was a breeze with alot helpful information on their website as well as made it very easy to sign an agreement, setup auto bill (so I don't forget) and payment reminders. When I first fell in love with their work and what they offered, I wasn't sure if we could afford them however we chose to move the wedding budget around to make it work. Honestly this was the best decision we could have made, having HNL Studios at our wedding was worth every penny. Since we booked with them later than most, we did our engagement photography pretty close to our wedding. My husband usually dislikes the pressure of looking a certain way but Nikki and Charles made it so comfortable and natural for him. It's like they did photo magic and we became instantly friends. As we pulled out of the parking lot of our engagement session I was surprised to hear my fiance say "that was SO much fun!" When it came to the wedding, I cannot say enough things about how special they made the big day. The HNL Studios team treated our family like their own.They made the long process of taking family portraits so enjoyable and fun. Toward the reception they had a large and beautiful display showing our engagement photography throughout the wedding reception for all our guests to enjoy. Be sure to inquire about this feature! Just had my destination wedding last Friday and everyone loved the photo booth! The background was really pretty (we had birds of paradise) and the props were modern and new, not cheesy and cheap looking like some other companies I looked into. The panda hat was a hit!!!! Pictures came out great and we were able to customize our design to what we wanted.
