Michael was our videographer at our wedding in August, 2025. I think the major difference between Michael and others is Michael's ability to storytell in his video. His videos draw emotions and takes his audience through a journey of the occasion. In addition, he is a wonderful guy who made everyone comfortable in front of his camera drawing beautiful and natural smiles in our video. He was also very meticulous and worked with us to ensure that our wedding videos was personal and perfect for us. I would highly recommend Michael - he is amazing. P.S. I would recommend the drone service as well as it added a lot more texture and vantage points you would normally not get. read more

If you're looking for a great photographer/videographer, Lapu Atelier is it! My wife and I are so happy we asked Mike to do the photos and video for our wedding! We couldn't have asked for a better person to coordinate and handle the photos and vids for our big day. Mike was super helpful, he asked us what our vision was and for the schedule so he can prepare ahead of time. He even went to our locations to get drone shots for our video. We were and still are impressed with how everything came out! Mike sent us a preview sneak-peek to show us what our photos and videos were going to look like, and we absolutely loved it! If you are looking for a photographer in Oahu, stop looking because you've found your guy. Michael helped me plan a surprise proposal and could not have been anymore helpful. Helped me decide on a beach, helped me with a display, and absolutely crushed the photoshoot for us. My fiancé had absolutely no idea it was coming and had no idea he was hiding behind us taking pictures. He did an exceptional job capturing our special moment. I have seen countless engagement shoot photos from hundreds of photographers and nothing compares to the work Michael did for us and for others. Would give him 100 stars if I could. read more

As a first time mother with a baby born during the pandemic, we were not able to celebrate my daughter's first birthday the way we had hoped. Fast forward to her second birthday, we made sure to make up for it. Mike, of course, took pictures of the main areas of the party. What we didn't expect was that he also captured the moments we did not even realize we wanted captured. The pictures turned out great! He really has a great eye, especially for the candid shots. My daughter does not do well with staged photos so seeing her actually smiling in these pics made our hearts so full. My husband and I are so happy to have these memories to look back on! Thanks Mike! read more

Mike is one of the most detail oriented and dedicated guys I know. He is very particular who he has on his team and his main priority is to make sure you have your experience documented the way you want. Mike and his team were the ones we chose for our wedding at the The Club at Ruby Hill and we were blessed to have him. Outside of being an outstanding videographer, he makes sure to make everything as calm and easy as possible for you and will help big time when distractions are happening. If you want someone who actually cares about people rather than a paycheck, look no further. We were blessed and quality of the video and the service and respect were no comparison to anyone else we could have worked with. Thank you so much! read more

We're so grateful to have experienced Mike's talent as our videographer in our wedding in California before his big move to Hawaii!
