Because this was everything we could have wanted for our wedding video. --- --- --- We debated using a video company to capture our wedding, but toward the end of the planning phase, we decided to bite the bullet and splurge for it. We're very happy that we did because the video turned out to be absolutely perfect. At first, they sent us a bit of a teaser with some top highlights, and we just asked for one minor change. They quickly made that change, sent us the updated version and then created the full-length video. They sent us the finished product on a flash drive, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Orig Media was one of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning process, and we couldn't be happier with the beautiful highlight video we just received, less than 3 short weeks after tying the knot. As Maid of Honor for my best friend's wedding i wanted to surprise her with a awesome gift. I decided to get the same say edit for her. Finding a videographer from LA was hard because we had no idea who was going to be good or professional. We have all heard horror stories of bad videographers who had great sample videos but were horrible. Despite this I hired Orig Media from the sample Vimeo videos they had, and off their webpage. I was kind of nervous not knowing for sure how they will be, but I was pleasantly surprised. Payment was done online and was convenient. My one and only complaint was that they were slightly tardy but only to an extent that was forgivable. Any other day I probably would not of cared but nerves were slightly higher than usual that day. Jeff was amazing, the part I liked most about him is while he was filming the bride and bridesmaids getting ready he wasn't intrusive. We almost forgot he was there half the times. This helped because he was able to get natural shots of us goofing around and the bride absolutely glowing while she was getting ready. He also had another videographer film the groom and the best man. It was great that he microphoned the groom so in the Video we could clearly hear the I do's. At the end of the reception he played the Same day Edit and it brought tears to my eyes not only cause he did such a good job but because it was absolutely beautiful. The groom was able to see for the first time the bride getting ready. The video was very high quality and professionally made, looked like a music video. It looks like they were voted #1 in "The Knot Best of Weddings 2013", and I have to say it was well deserved. I doubt I will ever need a videographer in Hawaii again but if I ever do without doubt I will contact Jeff again. read more

So, so, SO happy that we hired Orig Media to create our wedding video. 3 weeks before our wedding, I decided that we need a wedding video, and that I'd kick myself for not getting one. It was something I'd talked myself out of from a cost standpoint....until I saw my friend's video and the beautiful memories captured. Some frantic Googling ensued, resulting in some painfully cheesy video options (twirling on the beach in slow motion, awkward adoring looks, etc) and some so-so options as well. We talked to one other vendor that made us feel a bit uncomfortable and pushed...and then we got on the phone with Orig Media. They made us comfortable from the first conversation. We had some members of the family that weren't thrilled with the idea of being filmed - Orig put them at ease. On our wedding day, Mike and Jeff showed up either on time or a bit early, which was awesome, and for the rest of the day, proceeded to have a ton of fun with us while simultaneously disappearing into the background. I barely noticed that they were there. Mike went with my husband and his friends on a paddleboarding adventure, while Jeff hung out with the ladies getting their hair and makeup done. From start to finish, they were just fantastic. So now I can say this - being filmed is not awkward if the videographers are experts, super light and quick on their feet, and you barely notice their presence. Our final video was delivered quickly, well within the promised time frame, and we also received our discs with a cute "Aloha" message written on the box. This is a late review from last year when Jeff covered my son's 1st birthday at the zoo. We hired Nick Pugay as our photographer and he referred me to Jeff for videography. Jeff was very responsive and easy to work with. He was unobtrusive compared to other videographers I've hired. He and the photographer worked harmoniously and they captured all the right moments. I forgot he was even there most of the time. I'm from Hawaii but live on the mainland now so finding the best professionals to work with and coordinating this long distance can be stressful.
