I reached out to 2-3 photographers, I advised wanting a photo shoot at a park, no beaches, yes I know we will in Hawaii but everyone does a beach photo. First photographer didn't even respond to my online, email requests. I even called the phone number listed, left a message, no call back. Second photographer confirmed will not be a good fit for my request due to only does nature photography, so only beaches, hmmm, last I checked parks with trees is nature! Final photographer, Sky & Reef Photography -Tara Morenfeld with all the information I requested for. Reserved a Sunday morning date, Tara was on time and ready to go. Worked with the 1year old first, while baby is in a good mood! Worked with each individual ohana then entire ohana. I highly recommend Sky & Reef photography Tara Morenfeld for your next photo session! Again Tara is a professional and keeps her word on how to work the ohana!

She is an independent photographer in Oahu, Hawaii - you WILL get HER doing everything from front to end (scheduling, answering questions, to the finished photos being sent). She is an absolute powerhouse of a photographer and professional - it makes a lot of sense why so many people recommend her. She is experienced and talented in photography of land, water, mountains as she is born and raised there. Her pricing is extremely fair and affordable, and the quality is of top-tier professional standards and better than large production companies. The finished photos were absolutely gorgeous - she manages the capture sunsets and sunrises so perfectly (and does stellar midday photography work as well) and quite literally has inventory on every special-event-worthy spot on the island. She goes above and beyond to the point of literally getting on the phone the same day I contacted her as soon as we both were available. She will single-handedly clear debris on beaches to the best of a single person's ability to get the perfect background and shot. She monitors weather and is extremely responsive about updates. She was also very patient with me when I needed time to coordinate a decision with my friend for whom the engagement shoot was for and answering a slough of my questions since I was not familiar nor on-site in the area. She has an extensive repository of photos at every location, and even if you have no idea where you want yours, she will provide you with a menu of options. If you do multiple locations nearby, she'll also give a great deal for those. Based on my coordinating experience with her and the final photo products (which she produces within a good turnaround time), I highly recommend her for any type of shoot - she does proposals, engagements, weddings, couple ones, and fun ones!
