Keoni was recommended to my husband and I by a family member - and this was one of the best recommendations we got about our wedding!! His price was affordable for what we wanted and he got every single thing I asked for. Our theme was fairy tale/story and his editing hit the mark. His work with the natural light came out the most beautiful as shown in my wedding photos here. I could not be happier with how these came out. I felt like a princess that day and he really made us look like royalty. On top of his great skills, he was just a really nice person. He made it easy to feel more comfortable and was so kind and patient with my bossy family. He will be my recommendation to anyone who needs photos locally.
We are so grateful to Keoni for capturing our engagement session in Hawaii. He was easy to work with, so creative, professional, fun, and the final photos blew us away. Every detail and emotion was perfectly captured. Such a wonderful experience!! The final images truly highlight both our joy and the stunning Hawaiian landscape. Highly recommend for anyone looking for timeless, high-quality photos. These photos and memories will be cherished forever!
Keoni and his team were INCREDIBLE. We went with their two photographer, 6 hour package with the photobooth. Both photographers were extremely professional and so much fun to work with. We have an incredible balance of posed pictures and fun candid pictures. Our wedding was at Cafe Julia, which he had worked at before and knew all of the best spots. Our wedding album is everything we ever dreamed of and then some. We cannot recommend him enough!
If you're searching for a photographer, look no further! The Keoni team was SOOOO brilliant to work with! We felt so comfortable and confident with the way he would pose us and encourage us throughout different settings. We also loved our separate engagement shoot we did with him that ended up being very intimate and was nice to do post-wedding as our nerves had calmed a bit. We were left with such wonderful photos. He captured all the moments we wanted for our wedding day and more! Thank you KPIXHI team!
Keoni was absolutely the best! We hired him for both our engagement photos and our wedding photos, and he knocked it put of the park both times! I literally screamed when I saw the photos because of how amazing and dreamy they are! He made me and my husband feel so at ease during the shoots and is just a super nice, down to earth guy! He also got the photos to us in a record time. We can't thank you enough, Keoni!
The most important thing besides talent is having the right kind of vibe around you, it will show in your photos. If funny, creative and chill is your vibe, Keoni will bring it! It was like having a friend hang with us all day and the moments he becomes inspired, they're always fun. I could talk endlessly about the gorgeous photos he took for both my engagement and wedding photos; the beautiful, romantic poses are great but what really drew me to decide on him in the first place was the energy behind his candid shots. Although we love a good photo with everyone looking at the camera with their eyes open, the ones I want to remember is when people don't notice. Time is fleeting and there's only so much I was able to capture inside my mind that I am so grateful that he was there and obviously enjoying himself as well to capture the moments that post wedding we were like "i wish someone got a picture of that!" I love how real all our photos came out and his use of lighting and editing, there wasn't a lot of "posed" moments. Although it felt like a dream, I didn't want any false notions of having a perfect wedding where every last detail was magazine worthy. It was the moments Keoni was able to capture that truly made it the best day of our lives and we wouldn't change any of it. I definitely recommend doing an engagement session with him, especially if you plan on having him do the wedding day. It's an engaging and fun hour that allows for you to understand his style and great practice for day of.
We are really impressed with Keoni, his "style," and the quality of his work! Hiring a photographer is one of the biggest decisions you can make when planning a wedding. We attended a wedding expo and found him there. I'm so grateful we did, because a lot of other photographers' work was sort of dark and cliché. When we happened upon Keoni's booth, we looked at his sample work, and it was the exact ascetic we wanted for our outdoor wedding: bright, happy, modern, fun and romantic! We hired him right away and worked with him up until the big day on the main things: timing of the day and the shot list. He had invaluable advice on planning our short, action-packed day. He brought up a lot of great points we hadn't thought about before and definitely was a great resource to us to ensure everything ran smoothly. On the big day, he and his assistant arrived on time and immediately got to work. I had Keoni in the bridal suite and my husband had his assistant. The photographs from both suites turned out excellent. Keoni was so patient and respectful in a room full of women getting ready. In short, he has a great way of staying calm during chaos! The best thing about him was his ability to "see" certain shots. He's definitely an artist. He also went the extra mile to ensure he got the best possible angles and lighting. He dried my soaking wet bouquet on his shirt so I could hold it, and he laid in the wet/muddy grass to get a gorgeous shot of us amongst the palm trees. Keoni was very open minded to taking a few shots that we had in mind, and was very good at recommending certain shots, too. Overall, our 850+ pictures came out fantastic, and we will cherish these memories for a lifetime. Hire Keoni and you won't be disappointed with the artistry of your photos. He definitely captures the essence, feel and theme of the day!
Keoni and his assistant Sean were our photographers for our wedding day, and oh my God!!! We could not be more happy! They are Soo easy and fun to work with, Keoni's energy was upbeat and showed genuine happiness for us, and Sean was very calm, always had a smile on his face. They literally helped us feel so beautiful and be more in the moment, which made all the nerves go away and we really appreciated it. We got our photos back in a month's time, which is very very quick in the wedding industry world. We are Soo Obsessed with the editing and how they all turned out. We could not have asked for a better media team!
Keoni was an absolute joy to work with. He was very easygoing and made the process fun for everyone. We appreciated that both him and Sean made us feel very comfortable while taking pictures. The day went by smoothly without any worries. To our surprise, Keoni sent us the finished edits not even one week after the wedding! The pictures were perfect and we loved every single one of them. 100% would recommend KPix to all our friends and family! :)

We hired Keoni (and Mike) at Kpix Photography as our wedding photographers. Went with their two photographer, 8 hour package; both were friendly, easy going and gave great directions to make us look good. The photos came out amazing (loved the variety and candid shots)! We were shocked everything was ready within a week of our event. One of our family members even used Kpix for a family shoot. Highly recommend! read more
Keoni is an extremely professional, talented, and personable person to work with. We had a phone consultation beforehand and he accepted another call from me so I could get more input. He also recommended great vendors! On the day of, he was punctual and made my husband and I feel so comfortable, like we were meeting with a friend. He showed us the poses to do, and was super fast in his clicks so that we could get more photos with other backgrounds. Because we had a two part wedding (ceremony in Paliku Gardens and reception in Cafe Julia), timelines were tight, and he was able to get all of the shots we wanted in both locations with the perfect lighting. During the reception, I even requested a few additional spontaneous shots that he accommodated and he helped the DJ stay on schedule as well. On top of all that, the photos came back in just 2 weeks and I get so emotional every time I look at them, they captured a perfect blend of portrait, candid, and joy. I can't thank him enough for photographing our big day! read more

Keoni at kpix did an amazing job at our wedding. He and his assistant Sean were awesome. They had a great vibe...super calm and friendly with our wedding party and guests. Most importantly, the photos were amazingly beautiful. They captured everything that we wanted, including really nice candids of the special moments of our day. Keoni also did really cool shots of us from afar that turned out to be really artistic. I highly recommend kpix if you are looking for a great photographer and excellent quality photos. We are really grateful for his work and so happy that we hired him to capture our special day :) read more

Long story short: Keoni is AMAZING! So happy we decided to go with him for our engagement photos. I can't stop looking at em! Long story: Keoni is an awesome photographer and person. He made an awkward situation into a fun, chill and laughable one -- and honestly one that I can't wait to do again! Our first location ended up being a dud (we needed to hike and it was a rainy/cloudy day) but he was quick to recommend another spot, which gave us some pretty amazing shots! I would whole-heartedly recommend Keoni - he's talented, laid back, and an overall cool guy to spend some time with, plus he got our photos back to us after a week. Amazing!! read more

Keoni is great! The photos we have really help us relive the day whenever we look at them. Easy to work with, communicative and our pictures are gorgeous! Keoni totally has an eye for what we would want to share with friends and family as keepsakes and for the gram =P. We appreciate him for taking our requests for a long shot list. Keoni was super professional while also helping us calmly get through the potential stress of getting our perfect wedding photos. He was familiar with the venues and locations and had a great process that left us super confident that we would have great photos, and the results still far surpassed our expectations. Keoni has a real artist's eye and both got all the shots we wanted and also captured so many other moments in a truly unique way that we'll cherish forever. read more

We know Keoni through a friend, loved the work we had seen on his site and decided to ask him do our engagement photos. Working with Keoni was easy and enjoyable, he was very professional but laid back at the same time so we felt really comfortable. (We aren't used to taking nice pics, we are more of the hiking pic couple haha). Our engagement photos turned out great so it was a no brainer to have him do our wedding photos as well. For our wedding we did a nine hour package. He met us at our hotel and did photos of my self and my bridesmaids then my husband and his groomsmen. Our wedding took place at Kualoa Ranch, and we were just blown away at how our photos turned out. Keoni makes everything look effortless, he really has an eye for getting that perfect shot. Not only did he make us look amazing, but he really captured our special day in a unique way. We are so happy we will have these photos to treasure for years to come. We highly recommend Keoni if you're looking to capture your special day! read more

We hired Keoni for our family photos at home. As my parents get older, we wanted to camemories with them and my kids in the home I grew up in. Three generations in one photo. My parents, my kids, and me. Since we had to change our original date due to Covid, he was very accommodating to change his dates too. He really did capture the photos I wanted to encapsulate the emotions in our photos. He definitely has a different kind of eye for photos than other photographers. Hire him, you will not be disappointed. read more

Keoni is an excellent photographer. He did our engagement shoot, our elopement (after having to cancel the wedding) and, a year later, he shot our rescheduled wedding. He is super friendly, encouraging and makes you feel relaxed in front of the camera. He edited our pictures perfectly and they all came out beautifully. Highly, highly recommend! read more

Keoni is an excellent photographer with an even greater personality! He captures moments with such vibrance and warmth of life and love and was just what we've been looking for! Modern yet classy, clean, bright, fun, and romantic! I noticed he was based mostly in Hawaii but Seattle too, which was so ideal -- since our wedding is in Seattle, and I was already visiting my husband in Hawaii! I messaged him crossing my fingers that he would be able to capture both our engagement session and wedding, and he was very timely, flexible, and so helpful! Setting up and signing the contract w him was concise and convenient. Our engagement shoot was comfortable and fun, and the photos look so natural. We had so much fun chasing the sunlight with Keoni! It was a great preface to having Keoni photograph our wedding ceremony later this year! I highly recommend Kpix photography!! read more

Keoni came recommended to us by a couple of people, so we hired him for our beach wedding in Hale'iwa. First of all, he was super easy to work with, very flexible, and his prices were extremely reasonable. But price wasn't what we really cared about - we wanted to have great photos to remember our wedding, and as beautiful as the wedding was, we were shocked at how amazing the photos came out. Keoni was amazing - in just a 2 hr shoot, we couldn't narrow down our absolute favorite photos to less than 100 of them. Because of the great photography, the photos of our wedding will always look as beautiful as it felt. I'm posting a couple pictures to show how great it looked. read more

After getting engaged in 2019, I was on the search for a photographer to take our engagement & wedding photos. Now.. I'm very picky when it comes to photos & I absolutely just wanted the best. I came across Keoni's business IG "kpixhi" & liked what I seen so I read some reviews & decided to reach out to him. Besides from the quality of the photos I seen, I also read that he made a lot of couples feel comfortable during their shoot which automatically sold me even more. I'm camera shy & was worried about looking/being awkward in our photos bc of not knowing what to do. A year later, we finally took our engagement photos & I absolutely love them!! Keoni is a chill & fun guy so if you're worried about awkward photos, he's your guy! He totally captured what I envisioned our engagement photos to look like & I know he'll do the same for our wedding photos next. read more

Keoni is nothing short of AMAZING. We found out about Keoni after he was recommended by a day of coordinator in Hawaii. We did our engagement shoot with him in December of 2019 and were blown away by the quality of his photos. We are from NorCal and had no clue where to get our engagement shoot photos done for a destination wedding in HI. He helped us choose a beautiful location, gave us plenty of options, and made us feel so comfortable the day of! The day of our shoot I was nervous about how incredibly windy it was and that the photos wouldn't turn out the way I wanted. When we got to the location, Keoni told us it was one of the windiest days there. Keoni rose to the challenge and snapped the most beautiful photos effortlessly. He knew how to work with unexpected weather and his keen eye actually made the wind a positive for our shoot! I was also nervous about feeling awkward in front of the camera. Keoni made everything easy, giving direction when we we needed in a way that made us laugh and feel relaxed, but also allowing us to interact naturally. It felt like a dream and the photos reflect nothing short of that. Keoni's work is of the highest quality from start to finish and we could not be happier that we chose him. What has touched us most (above and beyond his photos) is Keoni's character. He has always been great with responding timely and keeping us informed. He is flexible, understanding, and personable. He will work with budgets and unexpected wedding changes. We learned that my future husband's father in law was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and had to change the location of our wedding entirely only 6 months prior to the wedding (HI to CA). Keoni has been understanding throughout the entire process and has gone leaps and bounds to make sure he could still be present at our wedding. We could not imagine getting married without him photographing our wedding after our experience with him and feel honored that he has agreed to be a part of our special day! read more

When looking for a wedding photographer I only had two things in mind; price and quality of pictures. While researching on-line, going through portfolio after portfolio I finally found Kpix Photography. The web-site is beautiful and very professional so right away I was sure the prices would be expensive, but I loved the photographs so much I decided to look up the prices. I thought there must be some kind of mistake; beautiful pics at a resonable price? My fiance and I decided to set up an appointment with Keoni to take our engagement photos, just to see for ourselves how the pictures would turn out. I wasn't too particular about what they looked like, so long as they looked good. After a short discussion, Keoni came up with some great ideas for our shoot. He really took his time with us and took TONS of pictures. The end result almost took my breath away, somehow he knew exactly what we wanted with the limited amount of information I gave him. Our engagement pictures came out beautiful without looking too pose-y or cheesy. I would highly recommend Keoni to photograph you and your family for any special occasion. My wedding is in May 2011 and I can't wait to see the kinds of pics he takes on our special day! read more
