It is a place we absolutely love; the food is spectacular, and the service is usually top-notch. However, we experienced a very unpleasant situation at the end of our meal.My wife needed some fresh air, so we stepped outside for a moment while my daughter and son-in-law stayed at the table to pay the bill. As we were walking out, a staff member stopped us and asked why we were leaving so soon. In short, they accused us of trying to leave without paying, which was completely false. I confronted the employee and explained that we were just stepping out for air while the rest of our family was inside paying.Upset by the accusation, I went back inside to complain to the hostess and the person I believe was the manager. It is unacceptable for this to happen, especially at such a fabulous place that my family loves so much. Please be more careful with the staff you hire. Incidents like this can severely damage the restaurant's reputation and completely ruin a spectacular dining experience.
