Sushi / Sashimi section (Sashimi only available Saturday and Sunday. Lame!)

This is your typical Chinese buffet, but I noticed heavily focused on seafood (fried crab, boiled and fried shrimp, fried fish, crawfish, etc). Not such a bad thing if you enjoy seafood, but even if you don't, they still have your typical Chinese buffet options (general Tso, pepper beef broccoli, fried rice, etc.). Note - we went during a weekend lunch, so other times and days may vary (not sure). We went there with a low expectation because of all the mixed reviews, but we were both impressed. I enjoyed the variety and salmon sashimi. The imitation wasabi was questionable because of the unnaturally bright green color, but still tasted ok. I ate a ton of it and didn't get sick. Check mark! I thought the place was relatively clean, for a buffet. The table surface was a bit spotty, but I thought it was ok after a wipe. Note that they charge $5 for kids, even at 18 month and 4 years old. It's fair, considering they make a mess and it's just $5. If you are hungry and wanting to stuff your face in a Super fashion, this place may be your calling. Overall, this is exactly what you imagine when you think "Chinese Buffet". With the right expectations and hungry stomach, it'll be a satisfying experience.

So my son really wanted to come here for his 5th birthday. So we had a party of about 15 and they had a table set up for us since we called prior to arriving. I'm not sure if I just hadn't been to a buffet in many, many years, but this was lowkey a pretty good experience for us. Nothing fancy here, but a pretty good variety and the place was humming while we were there from about 6:30 - 8:30. The food was pretty tasty but the service was a bit lacking. The place is decently clean but I do wish it was better lit. At least the area where we were sitting it was very dim as the sun went down. If I were craving a buffet, I would probably come back. For $15.99 per adult, $8.99 for kids 4 to 9 (and under 4'10") and $3.99 for 3 and under, it's a pretty good deal. My family and other relatives were pleasantly surprised.

The food was average for a buffet. Most of the food was rather bland. Wish it was kept at a more heated table.

In my experience, beef chow fun at other restaurants often suffers from soggy rice noodles, uneven flavoring, and noodles that stick together. Most notably, other places often use excessive oil that pools at the bottom of the plate. As you can see in the attached pictures, the flavor here was very even, and the texture was firm without being chewy. Each noodle was clearly separated, and there was almost no oil pooling at the bottom. Having eaten Chinese and Vietnamese food my entire life, I strongly recommend this place.

We arrived around 12pm and it was raining. The service was good. We were quickly seated and the servers were attentive. The ambiance is relaxed and casual. When we first got there we were the only people there and when we left it was packed. I ordered the combination fried rice, we got spicy fried chicken to share, I also got wonton soup and we got egg rolls. The spicy fried chicken was spicy but not too spicy for me. The wonton soup was flavorful. I really enjoyed the combination fried rice. It was delicious and did not disappoint. One friend came late and got the beef dry hot pot. I tried it and it was delicious too. This spot is top notch and the food is delicious. When I'm in the area again I will want to come back and if you're in the area and enjoy Asian cuisine try this place.

Fuya Cafe has a little bit of everything. From looking at the menu, it has Authentic Chinese,…read moreSzechuan Chinese, Americanized Chinese and Thai food. It's also has some good vegetarian options. First impression when you walk into this place...it's not your typical Chinese restaurant. The seats were these big comfortable chairs for the tables, and the booths looked to have comfortable looking benches. Plates had their logo on them. It just had a nice feel when you walk in. My family and I ordered five dish. Since we have one strict vegetarian (no fish) and others who eat meat, I'm going to break them down into a Veg and non-Veg group. Vegetarian - Stir Fried String Beans (5 stars) This is a simple dish, string beans stirred fried in a delicous sauce. - General Tso's Tofu (5 stars) When I think of General Tso's, I usually think of big battered fried chucks of a protein, instead this was your fried tofu (no batter from what I can tell) mixed with a spicy General Tso's sauce. General Tso's at other places in the area were a lot sweeter than this....and I liked the level of spice in this one. - Assorted Vegetables (5 stars) A simple classic healthy Chinese dish. Mixed vegetables in a white sauce. Non-Vegetarian - Salt and Pepper Fish (4 stars) Presentation of this dish looked nice. Pile high of fried fish with garlic, fried onions, green onions and other herbs. Although, it lacked a little flavor. You have to eat the fish with all the other stuff to get some flavor. If it had some more salt and pepper (either jalapenos or white peppers), this would had been a lot better dish. - Mango Chicken (5 stars) Surprising a very good dish. I expected a chicken dish with some mangos, and what we got was soft sliced chicken mixed with chunks of mangos, bell peppers and carrots, in a brown sauce. This was simply delicous dish. Overall, a great place to visit if you are in the area.

I swear it's just one really long hand made noodle, so it's a bit hard to share, but it's a must-get. We also tried the Claypot noodle and it was good as well but a bit of an acquired taste. The restaurant is located inside Jusgo grocery store. The seating is quite limited so I wouldn't recommend it for large parties. And it's pretty mom and pop, so if that's your jam, go for it. Chairs are mismatched, drinking water is somewhat self-service in small cafeteria-style plastic cups, and tables are small. Like I said - mom and pop, and that's not a bad thing. It's just not exactly a place where you would have a nice business meeting. Service was ok - nothing to note. You pay at the cashier which is like 2 feet from where you ate. Yes, it's a small space. Overall - I love this place and will keep coming back.
