This is, I believe, the only Chinese buffet in Sugar Land. While not the greatest, it's always packed for lunch due to the low price and decent selection. The selection is the typical spread... cold items no one touches, a mid hibachi grill with overly chewy beef, whole fried shrimp, dry overcooked crawfish, awful cheap ingredient sushi, and plenty of general tso's chicken. The dinner spread includes more seafood items. They do have a large selection of scoopable ice cream, but I always question how sanitary that is. Note - we went during a weekend lunch, so other times and days may vary (not sure). We went there with a low expectation because of all the mixed reviews, but we were both impressed. I enjoyed the variety and salmon sashimi. The imitation wasabi was questionable because of the unnaturally bright green color, but still tasted ok. I ate a ton of it and didn't get sick. Check mark! I thought the place was relatively clean, for a buffet. The table surface was a bit spotty, but I thought it was ok after a wipe. Note that they charge $5 for kids, even at 18 month and 4 years old. It's fair, considering they make a mess and it's just $5. If you are hungry and wanting to stuff your face in a Super fashion, this place may be your calling. So my son really wanted to come here for his 5th birthday. So we had a party of about 15 and they had a table set up for us since we called prior to arriving. I'm not sure if I just hadn't been to a buffet in many, many years, but this was lowkey a pretty good experience for us. Nothing fancy here, but a pretty good variety and the place was humming while we were there from about 6:30 - 8:30. The food was pretty tasty but the service was a bit lacking. The place is decently clean but I do wish it was better lit. At least the area where we were sitting it was very dim as the sun went down. If I were craving a buffet, I would probably come back. For $15.99 per adult, $8.99 for kids 4 to 9 (and under 4'10") and $3.99 for 3 and under, it's a pretty good deal. My family and other relatives were pleasantly surprised. read more

I was CRAVING American Chinese food. I often can't make up my mind on what to order because I'm used to eating family style. Eating family style, allows a more variety of dishes. Buffet seemed the best option, except I dislike the Chinese buffet nearest my house. This place is not easily evident off of Highway 6 . Actually, what happened is I got lost and turned around using their parking lot, apparently (shared with other small businesses). The buffet was decent, and satisfied my cravings. Only the crab Rangoon was an exception because there was too much sweetness in it. The customers are decent enough and so is the staff. It was neat to see the staff getting vegetables, ready to refill the buffet trays. I like that kind of thing. The staff looked like they had a togetherness going on. This place was really disappointing. We went to the buffet around 8:30pm and they had already stopped putting out fresh food. Many of the trays were empty without any intention of being refilled! The food tasted like it had been sitting out for hours and made me feel sick afterwards. Our waitress also made us uncomfortable as she came over to our table to ask if we were done eating every 5 minutes. Every time we told her no she would go stand in the corner and watch us! It felt like we were being stalked the entire time. At one point, my boyfriend and I got up to get napkins before we were finished with our food and when we came back to the table our plates were gone! There were also many signs around the restaurant that said 'any wasted food will be weighed and added to your bill'. I admit, I'm a gluttony. When it comes to fresh and delicious looking food with my hangry face, I tend to overindulge. Especially at Super 6 Buffet. I was shopping at Kohl's across Highway 6. Upon leaving the parking lot, my belly was growling. I thought I could drive home in 30 minutes. But my belly got hangry. Then, I saw Super 6 Chinese Buffet sign on the street after making a U-turn on Highway 6. First thing I saw was the health department issued an A rating for this restaurant. That was an assurance to move on in. Then, I saw the price and the time for dinner. Yup, just missed lunch by half hour. But really, where can I get a dinner for $12.49? I guess it was good timing for the freshest food before dinner crowd arrived. After a quick glance, we decided to sit down to eat. No, actually I walked to buffet line to fill my plates, then sat down to eat. Can't remember how many trips I went to the buffet line. I took few snapshots of my plates that I would repeat. My favorites were the dim sum baskets and sushi line. There was another hangry customer took half plateful of sushi before me. Thanks to kitchen staff kept the trays full. I skipped crabs and crawfish because they were time consuming to get very little meat from under the shells. Don't give me wrong, they were delicious and flavorful. My dislike about Chinese buffet are those serve non-Asian food. Super 6 didn't have many. That was why I was still eating. I didn't care for ice cream because the cones were stale and ice creams tasted funky. Maybe because I was very full before hitting desserts. I'm so happy that I found Super 6. I have seen their advertisement on Southern Chinese News but didn't know it was so close to my favorite stores. That means I would come back to Missouri City more often. read more

Listen, it's a buffet so this is not a 4 star as in wow what amazing food curated by the chef. But for a buffet this is really good, it's clean (most aren't) the food tastes fresh, and the options have great variety. If I could give this place zero stars I would. The host who's name is Amy is so rude and unprofessional. My family and I came with my baby and when we were being seated I asked her if we could please get a bigger table away and she flat out told me "no, these tables are for more people of 10" I asked her if 10 people would be coming to one of the 3 tables of 10 and she said yes very rudely and dismissive. I then asked for the manager and she said there was no manager and walked away. My family and I found a better table for us and just sat down. I asked 2 employees for the managers information to report Amy but it was clear she told everyone to tell me there was no manager. Never come here, ever! Food is average and service is terrible.
