As I was waiting for it to be prepared, I noted there was a lot of back and forth communication between the person working on filling my pot and another employee behind her, seemingly about the bone marrow. I couldn't understand what they were saying and was getting a little nervous. I decided to step away and grabbed a few pieces of shrimp and calamari tempura as my sides. When I finally got the hotpot, it was placed on a wooden stand warmer. It looked scrumptious! I happily dug in and noted that the warmer went out within 5 mins of starting. The corn cob pieces were soft on some parts and very soggy on other part. The noodles were ok, too soggy for my liking. The beef brisket was really good and that was the only part of this soup that was more than decent. The bone marrow was very firm, tasted undercooked, not even warm. I felt like I overpaid for the hotpot $15.99. I added in the 6 min eggs for $1.50, these were good, tasted like regular eggs. The tempura station looked really good with fried veggies and seafood. Even though they sat under a warmer, they were still room temperature when biting into the shrimp or calamari tempura. I opted to take this home so I could reheat in the air fryer. I would come back and try the braised beef noodle hotpot next time. Service was friendly and quick. The dining food court area was clean, plenty of seating available.

I drove there and to my delight they did have the dish I was hopping to enjoy. I even ordered two of them/ A few minutes later the waiter brought my order. As soon as I saw it I knew it wouldn't be any good. The meat was covered in a thick batter, the batter had a taste like coconut, this would have passed if it wasn't because I have eaten this dish in so many places, starting with Thailand and I know it does not involve masquerading whichever type of meat you chose with batter of any kind. I took a couple of bites and top my disappointment, I bit on a greasy piece of pork skin. That's when I understood what the purpose of the batter was for. Ugly will be an understatement. Misleading description will be more accurate. On the positive side, the waiter was kind and service was relatively fast. The portion size has gotten a bit smaller (inflation sucks), but the quality remains solid.
