Normally, their food is good, but tonight, July 15, 2025, it was dry and inedible. I will never order from them again. I ordered chicken fried rice, chicken chow mein, and garlic chicken with noodles, and got who knows what, but the first two items were inedible because they were so dry, not to mention they had no flavor. What a waste of $36! It was not just me either! The whole family could not eat it! Don't waste your money folks! read more

It's a pretty good wall, I wouldn't say great, but it's not bad. Great Wall has really good Chinese food and we appreciate them. I think they do a great job with what they're doing. It's standard American Chinese food with big portions and it's hearty and it's tasty and it's unhealthy, but what do you expect. Definitely one of the better American Chinese food places around, and especially in Rosenberg. read more

In days where "value for money" seems like a term that's gone out the window, at least in terms of take-out food in the Houston area, "Great Wall" I think do a great job of offering generous portions of food, and pretty good Chinese-American food at that. And they are QUICK, to boot. I was always touched when they, hearing I had driven from 40 miles west to buy their food (yep, you won't find any Chinese food for a GOOD BIT more than 40 miles heading west on US Alt. 90 from Rosenberg), they almsot always gave me a soda for the road "on the house." And today, I got a free 2024 calendar with my order (a nice one). You can also see your food being made right behind the cashier's desk. Only minus . . . . they need to get rid of the ghastly partition thing on that counter: a relic of 2020 but it makes paying and ordering quite unpleasant. But overall FOUR STARS! read more

The best in the area hands down. Always ready in 15 minutes and not over cooked or soaking in grease. Have yet to have something I don't like from here. The inside isn't the nicest.... But the food is damn good and it's perfect for late night take out. read more

This was some of the worst Asian food I have had. The disappointment was the egg rolls were soggy, stale flavor as if the item sat in kitchen for past 12 hrs. The general chicken was so disgusting that I ended up throwing the food away. I won't return. The interior of restaurant needs a remodel as it looks like it's 1970's era. read more

If you want Chinese, they have Chinese here. The prices are good, but you're getting what you're paying for. Everything seemed pretty much freshly cooked on the spot, but the fried foods were extra greasy, and the napkins were like using one-ply toilet paper, so there was a little issue there. Overall, I left satisfied and so did my husband. read more

I had delivery with door dash . I ordered chicken chow mein.they delivered lo mein which is noodles instead of vegetables. No one checks order. Door dash refund .but i wand my meal i ordered. Ordered again .same mistake .you think someone would of double checked .called restaurant . Confirmed my dish. Lady said chow mein veg .i said i know you keep sending noodles. Says sorry .u pick up. I paid for delivery and tip now of 8.00 to get wrong food . Im not driving to pick up. They should have offered to make things right .but really did not care. It's good. Something has changed but can't put my finger on it. Taste different but still good just not as good as before in my opinion. Mongolian Beef still is great. Wings batter or breading seemed off. General Tso was OK. Wonton soup is just bad.... Broth is more like water. Chicken fried rice was good with very little crunch. Egg roll was chewy/doughy but flavorful. Seemed like the quality got trumped but it's cheap so you get what you pay for. read more

This will probably end up being my new staple! My husband and I ordered on a whim and got shrimp egg foo young, beef and broccoli, and a side of crab rangoon. Everything was hot and delicious! The portions were generous and the amount of beef in my husband's entree was impressive. Normally he gets stuck with mostly vegetables, but this was great. For all three items it was only $23 and I was extremely impressed. We only did takeout because it's somewhat of a hole in the wall and the inside of the restaurant was hot due to the lack of space and the heat from the kitchen coming into the dining area, but I rarely eat in at Chinese restaurants, so this didn't bother me. I will definitely be back! Update - we have started exploring the menu and I can say in full honesty that I haven't had anything bad! It's all so tasty! I LOVE the mei fun noodles! I am a cook and a food connasuar. I'll try any place that looks like it has potential or to see it they're better than another. GREAT WALL.....UH NOT! At least not to me and my family. I ordered szechwan shrimp lo mein and fried chicken wings. Lo mein was dry and tasteless shrimp was over cooked and the chicken tasted like wood. Kind of a long story but I'll keep it short. I went here on a date after i got countless recommendations, we showed up and ordered the sesame chicken. It took a while and came out. We instantly could tell there was something wrong with it, the meat seemed grey in color. It smelled absolutely horrible and didn't taste much better. Surprisingly good Chinese food. It's like a fast food Chinese place but the veggies are fresh and the meat is flavorful without the overly MSG taste you get at other fast Chinese take-out places. I got beat/broccoli and the broccoli was cooked to perfection. Go figure. So stop by when your in a pinch. You'll be surprised too. And it's dirt cheap. It's a winner. read more
