Friends and family gathered to wish farewell at a going-away bowling party. At the end of the night, we headed to the car and I strapped my son in his car seat. I used to place the car keys in the door handle holder while I secured him. Unbeknownst to me, the car's auto-lock feature kicked in and my wife closed the back door in order to get to the front passenger seat. My son was officially locked in the car with the keys inside and the nearest spare was 60 miles away. Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh! Sergeant Richard Negron of the Orange County Sheriff's Office was parked in front of the bowling alley with his Deputy. The first thought in my head was, "Break a small window - problem solved." Instead, the three of us started working on different angles to remedy the situation. Deputy called AAA and they said they couldn't have anyone on sight for about 2 hours. I called Onstar and they could not reactivate the account from outside the vehicle. Sgt. Negron called Pop-A-Lock and they said they'd be there in 30 minutes. Meanwhile, my son is sweating and crying. Elvis Lopez (operator #11) arrived on the scene and it took him less than 2 minutes to get my front door open. He was calm, professional, and confident. Elvis didn't cause any damage to the door frame and was well prepared with all the proper tools. Pop-A-Lock even waived the fee as a courtesy to the Sheriff's Office. On Dec. 29th, my family and I were on vacation at Magic Kingdom from Maryland. All the excitement, I locked our keys in our car. I called USAA, after talking to guest services(they charge $60) and USAA dispatched Pop A Lock out(free service with our tow service). Pop A Lock sent out a text right away and not long after Dave Faichney called me. We meet out at our Van about 11 pm. Dave was very professional. He went over all that could happen, had me sign a paper and then he went to work. About a minute later he had our van unlocked. Even though it is Florida, it was rather cool that evening and my wife and four children were getting cold. The wife and the kids were in the car within a few minutes on Dave arriving. Dave even took a few minutes talking to me about the company he worked for and how it was providing for him and his wife since moving down to Florida from New York. You could really tell that he loves his job! Very fortunate of Pop A Lock to have such a great employee and for Dave to have a job that he loves. I locked my keys in my car on the evening of 6-28-16 and called Pop-A-Lock to have my car door unlocked. The technician that arrived, to rescue me, was employee #13, Xavier. He communicated with me, almost immediately after my call, to keep me posted as to the time of his arrival. He then arrived a bit earlier than he had originally estimated. It was clear to me that he was committed to providing quick and efficient service and he absolutely met and exceeded that commitment. He was professional and informative and even gave me some helpful advice about avoiding a future lock-out. In a time when good employees are hard to find, Pop-A-Lock seems to have avoided that issue by hiring decent people who take pride in their jobs and in a job well done. I wanted to take a moment to say how much I appreciated the help we received from Miguel yesterday. He arrived quickly and was professional and polite while maintaining social distancing. We had a very tricky situation (a keypad lock that was dead) and Miguel spent over an hour trying to open it. When he was unable to open it, he called for reinforcements while he continued to work at the lock. I feel like we got the whole squad to come out there were so many, but each and every person was just as professional and polite as Miguel as they greeted us. After they arrived, the lock was open within a few minutes and we were all set! After we determined that the lock needed a 9-volt battery replacement, one gentleman went above and beyond, giving us a spare battery from his van. I've used Pop-A Lock in the past with I locked my key in my car at the Orlando Airport, and was so thrilled that they got me in my car with no problem, and in the Terminal Top parking which is hard to find and a Tow Truck could never come, but I want to write about 2/15/14. My car needed a jump because I had left my interior light on for a couple days. I called Geico and they sent Pop-A Lock. Ben, from Pop-A Lock, called ahead and said when he would arrive, and he jumped my car, quick and easy. I was impressed with Ben, because he was dressed well, looked me in the eye and shook my hand and introduced himself, and didn't waste any time jumping me off. All I can say is wow, very impressed. I was locked out of my vehicle at a local restaurant with the keys in the car and the car engine running. My first response was to call AAA for roadside service because I have been a member since 1998 but I could not even get a live person to answer my call for assistance. In the mean time, a friend used their cell phone to google and contacted the company my vehicle was certified through and they contacted POP-A-Lock on my behalf. Pop-A Lock then showed up within minutes and as AAA was finally taking me off hold and explained that it would be a least another hour before anyone could even get to me.......The driver was super professional, courteous and quick. Last night my 16 month old grand daughter got locked in my Daughters car. The car was running and she was stuck inside. We called 911 and the Seminole county sheriff showed up and a few minutes later the Seminole county Fire Department was there. They made sure that my grand daughter was not in Grave Danger and then Called Pop-A-Lock. A short time later Pop a Lock showed up. The young man knew what he was doing and in about 20 or 30 seconds had the car open. He (I don't know his name) was very efficient and courteous. Thank you Pop A Lock. We recently needed roadside assistance and popalock was the one that took care of us. The driver Richard who came and restarted our car was very friendly and knowledgeable about what he was doing. We had an app they provided that tracked his travel to us, gave us an estimated time of arrival. Richard arrived earlier than the ETA that was provided. We also had a picture of him on the app which was wonderful and made us feel much more secure. In all the 40 years of driving and The Times I've had to use road service it was the best road service that we have ever had. I would definitely recommend them again and use them myself as I have now added them to my contact list. read more

FANTASTIC SERVICE! Spent the day at the theme park in Orlando and lost my key in one of the lockers. We were on our way back to NYC and had to drive through the night...but now we lost the key. Called Pop A Lock, 45 minutes Dave shows up, unlocks the car, creates a new key for me and verifies that all the buttons and settings work. Very informative and asked multiple times if I had any questions. At the end of the process they also provide you with a keychain that has their address on it so if you ever lose your key and someone finds it all they have to do is throw it in the mailbox and they will forward it to your house. Started off to work a couple days ago only to find that I had a dead car battery. I called my roadside assistance program and they gave me an estimate of 1 hr before anyone could make to me. As soon as I hung up with them a I got a text from Pop-a-lock saying they were on the way with a link to a map with GPS showing exactly where their guy was and a real time estimate of when he'd arrive. He was at my house within a few minutes and I was pulling away with my battery jumped within 25 minutes of my phone call to the roadside assistance. On several occasions I have needed to use my roadside service provided through my insurance. Tonight I needed help with a flat tire, Pop a Lock arrived prior to the estimated time given over the phone. When Logan arrived he was very courteous and knowledgeable in regards to a special Part my car comes with for removing the tire, I did not know that was a safety feature when I bought my car. These stupid company get no stars from me. I had the horrible experience with Pop-A Lock. I was in an all white neighborhood and because my drivers license address didn't match. The idiotic driver accused me of stealing my own car and called the police. Please do not call this service. They treated me inhumane. They need to know that all people can drive Infinities, own a visa card, and dl, and is not a criminal because of the color of their skin. I called the stupid assistant manager, he didn't apologize for the driver's behavior. He took sides with the driver. Please boycott this business. read more

However 3 min later I get a phone call letting me know that the tech will be there in about 20 min! A week ago, I emerged from a doctor appointment ready to move on with my day. As I turned the ignition, there was the only other sound as dreaded as the crunch of metal while in a car, the "clicking" sound of a dead battery. I suffereed a lockout Saturday 7Oct12 at the Orlando Convention center on W.Colonial. Cell phone also in the car. Using a borrowed phone I was put in contact with PopALock. I advised dispatcher to please have their vehicle park and i would find them as I couldn't explain my location and would be without a phone. They arrived before I could return to the lot. After finding the vehicle it took less than five minutes to open. Julius was efficient and polite. Went out for a walk one night and came home only to find that there was no way in. Had keys, but they didn't work. Julius came out within 40 minutes and had quite a challenge on his hands. Our situation had him stumped, but he continued to persevere over the next 45minutes. It was getting dark, it was hot and he had other calls coming in. Stay away from this company a total rip off they told me it would be 45 min it ended up being two hours by that tine I changed the tire myself and they still billed the insurance company. Not only did they promised a $25 gift card for keeping me waiting two hours when I shared with them that was too little they refused and now after four phone calls and text to a District Manager no return calls...they tell you what they want you to hear and then fail. Samantha came in 30 minutes, but I was notified when she would be arriving. Samantha was very knowledgeable but took her time as to not damage the car or the electronics . 5 minutes later the door was open and I was on my way.
