Never use this company! I called this company at 6:30pm. I spoke a young women who take my information and tells me the price is &19.95 for the service fee and $25 baseline with an additional charge depending on the complexity. I was told by the technician that someone would have me call with an estimated time. I wait 15 minutes and call back and talk to Sal who tells me that the technician must of forgot to call but he is in route and will arrive in 20-25 minutes. So I wait. 10 minutes later a person calls and says "You called for a locksmith. What's going on out there?" The person never announces who's he's with and never says he was a technician or anything. Therefore, I believe it's a company I left a message for previously and they are just retuning a call therefore I tell them I have another company on the way. He ask me how much I say about "$50." This technician never once identified himself amongst this exchange that he was calling from AAAA services. I wait 20 mins as I'm thinking the technician is on the way. I then call the company to make sure that it wasn't there technician that called because at this point I've been waiting over an hour. I call the company and again get Sal who tells me that it was their technician. I explain what happened and he agrees to send out another technician, he tells me he'll call back with ETA. 10 minutes pass and he explains that the technician was on the way but this one is farther out and it will now be 30-45 minute wait. I say okay, 10 mins later he calls and says that the technician is asking for a card to pay in advance. I explain that all my items are in the house and I don't have my card on me but once I get in the house I can give him the card. He says okay and calls back 10 minutes later saying no he needs a card. So after attempting to recite it from memory I ask my friend who now has come to sit with me as I'm trapped outside in pajamas if I can use her card. She says yes and I give him the card number. I verify with him that this card will not be charged but is only being asked for holding purposes to say I'll be there. I say okay and once again we say bye. He THEN calls back and says "may we now have permission to run the card." I say no because I previously asked and was told that I could pay as I choose when the person arrives. Long story this continues for 30 minutes as he checks with the technician and he comes back and says "well since you called around, we must accept a payment first before a technician comes out." I ask why wasn't this discussed when I called at 6:30, it's now 9:00. He says usually we don't require a payment upfront but this is a SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCE. So I ask to speak to the manager. He says you already spoke to him but I'd only spoken to him and the woman who answered the phone. When I say this, he then hangs up. I then call back and get another young man who passes me over to the manager Matt. Matt then says I know your upset ma'am but Sal has told me you called other people so we cannot come out. Mind you I called 2 other companies and left voicemails but never to spoke to anyone besides this company. I leave with my friend and would try again with someone else in the morning. My roommate comes home at this point and bc I was home she didn't have her key. I explain what happened and tell her maybe try another company. She calls TI Locksmith who tells her (again a woman answers the phone) that a technician will be there soon. 30 minutes pass and she calls back and again receives Sal who says they aren't coming bc there was another request earlier and the owner did want to pay. She tells the rep that this is her fist time calling. He argues with her for 5 minutes on how I should have told her and etc. However, this is a different company and I never called. She calls me and tells me what is happening so I tell her I'll come back if they need me to. She tells him this and he says no they won't come. At this point I tell her to leave it alone and we I called another company who came in 30 minutes.
UPDATE: I will not be removing the review as this is the correct company as again this was the only company I waited for over 2 hours. As a woman, they seriously endangered my life and I just don't want another woman to go through another scary experience like this. CHOOSE ANOTHER COMPANY! Pop-a-lock was AMAZING. read more
