I used Yelp to get quotes in having an Schlage Encode lock installed on my home. Armstrong responded quickly on Yelp and called me in a couple of hours. I was quoted $500 - just for the lock. I pointed out that the Schlage Encode was on Amazon for $212. (I had already done a lot of research to ensure this was the lock I wanted). I was then told by Armstrong that the items on Amazon are not the same quality as what they can receive directly from Schlage. I left feeling the locks sold on Amazon were somehow inferior. So, I asked Armstrong how much installation would cost - they said something like $70 for the service call and $60 for the rekeying - $130 installation. So about $630 with lock and installation overall was my understanding. It did not sit well with me that Schlage would sell inferior products direct to customers. So I called Schlage customer service to ask them about that fact. Schlage said they have never heard of selling unique stock to locksmiths. The stock they sell is the same for everyone. (Also note: Schlage has its own Amazon store). I ordered from Amazon the Schlage Encode lock for $212 and had my handyman install it for $25 - totaling $237. I understand a business has to make money - but I can't seem to justify paying over triple the cost. Also, they seem unprepared for knowledgeable customers who come ready with information and have already done their homework. read more

My husband and I decided it was time to get a small safe for our home to keep a few things in that we don't want to get stolen or burned up in a fire. Nothing huge but something that a casual burglar wouldn't pick up and carry away. I looked around but Melbourne doesn't have much of a selection beyond the ones carried by places like Home Depot and we wanted a more secure safe than what they carry. I looked up some safe dealers in Orlando and sent emails asking about what they carried, hoping to narrow things down before driving over there to look around. Kevin Armstrong answered my email quickly and provided a link with the safes they carry. After reading over the info and a few emails back and forth we decided on the safe we wanted. We paid online and it turns out Kevin lives in Melbourne and was able to bring the safe to our home and helped bring it inside. It was a seamless and painless experience and we didn't even have to drive to Orlando! I definitely recommend Armstrong Lock & Security. Their products seem to be well built and the customer service is excellent. read more

Fixed a lost key for a laptop lock. Very customer focused and kept me updated. Will recommend to anyone.

Showed up promptly and finished changing the locks very quickly!

Happy with their service. Love to support local family run companies. If you need a key, safe or lock this your place. Would give them 5 stars but they totally forgot about my install appt and I had to reschedule it. read more

Cheapest rekeys in town! Very friendly, helpful staff as well. I'm proud to support my Mills 50 district businesses.

In this day and age safety is a high priority not only in regards to yourself, but also your home and valuables. Armstrong Locks and Security Products Incorporated can help you out in this area with safes, locks and other security merchandise. Their safes range in size from small enough to fit on a rack in your closet, to almost the size of a room. They also come with different features and in a range of colors. As for locks, I'm not really well versed on this lingo, but I do know that they can change your locks and have various varieties to choose from. They can also help you if you're ever locked out of your home. read more

Best place to get keys and locks and safes. Outstanding Customer Service! These guys know what they're doing!! Seriously the best! Thanks Cody for your help! read more

I am a Realtor, and I always recommend Armstrong to my customers purchasing a home in the Orlando area. They are usually pretty quick making appointments, and always very courteous and professional. Recently, I needed a new lock installed in my own home. My only complaint is that they could not come out for a couple of days. Joe not only installed the new lock, but corrected the previous poor installation. The also make keys, which I need regularly in my business. They don't charge an arm and a leg either. read more

Scheduling was a breeze. When I called, Annabel (sorry, if I spelled that wrong) was happy and helpful, even suggesting someone might be available yet that day if that worked for me. It did. Ian took care of two issues, one we had tried to fix ourselves and got stuck, the other something we had lived with for nearly three years. Ian gave us good advice and did some extra problem solving for us to save some money! Thanks to all! read more

Great service with quick turnaround. We had just closed on a condo in Orlando and the only key was jammed in the lockbox. These guys got out there later the same day and replaced the locks. Would definitely use again. read more

Kevin (the owner) and Cameron (his son) have been super informative when I first contacted them about buying products from their company. They were very forthcoming about every little detail of what I was thinking of purchasing (both about the product and its price), and I am particular grateful for the honesty and integrity Kevin showed me when I went into the store in person (as he walked me through the products I was interested in). In the installation side, Nate and James were the ones who took the time and effort to show me the professionalism and customer care I was looking for and was happy to receive. The whole process was smooth and straight-forward, and it was completely with my full satisfaction. If it is not clear enough from my review, let me just make it clear--that I would recommend Armstrong Lock & Security Products to anyone I talk to from now on. Thank you Kevin for your product and service. Most of all, you have demonstrate to me one great character that we seem to find lacking in today's society, which is trust. read more

A few weeks ago I decided to have several Strikemasters (helps prevent doors from being kicked in) installed on my outside doors and my french door after seeing this product demonstrated on Channel 6 news months ago. This company has been in business for years, and I have used them previously. Scheduling the appointment was easy and the estimate was accurate. Robert M. arrived on time, was proficient on installing all items, personable, careful, and cleaned up. I needed to have a new lock and handle set installed today that Robert M. diagnosed while he was here a few weeks ago. I ordered the part from the storm door company, and Robert M. was just here to install it. He was just as professional this time and Armstrong Locksmith and Security Products waived the service call today charging me for only labor. I really appreciate them doing that. This is an honest company I highly recommend Armstrong Locksmith and Security Products they deserve the five star review!. read more

I cannot say enough great things about this company! Ian Martin is an outstanding ambassador for Armstrong Lock & Safe! He is extremely professional, knowledgeable, considerate of the customer, always calls ahead to confirm that he is on his way, cleans up after his work, and takes the time to explain things clearly. Beau Armstrong made my shopping experience wonderful. Ladies, you know that when some businesses see us walk in the door, they think "Ka-Ching", and recommend things that might be unnecessary. That is so NOT the case at Armstrong. They don't make you buy what you don't need and are very considerate of one's budget and needs. They only sell quality. I will not go anywhere else and will recommend this business to everyone! Thank you for an amazing customer experience! read more

Upon arrival Mr. R. Mott greeted me with a smile and a handshake. Mr. Mott introduced himself properly. His identification card was clearly visible. He was dressed professionally and punctual. Mr. Mott took his time and did not rush. I felt like a valued customer and confident in my decision. Mr. Mott was knowledgeable and represented the company well. The price was also reasonable, but remember you get what you pay for, and when you hire a locksmith you want the best. Just went to their showroom floor/storefront to get a copy of a key made. The price was awesome, the time was great (it took them maybe a minute). Got home and tested the key, worked flawlessly; some places you have to use the key a while before it's smooth due to the slight imperfections in the cut key; not with this key, it was smooth from the first use. I have no complaints at all with their service for key duplication. From the storefront look, I'd think all their services are top notch, but can't actually verify this from first hand experience. read more

My office manager arranged to have someone from Armstrong come out to rekey my office door. The old lock had not been used in years and the key was long gone. The technicain (Ian Martin) arrived within hours of being called. He had the lock replaced in no time. During the replacement he stepped a way for a moment and during that time I'd managed to lock myself out of my office. He was back quickly and in a flash he had that door open and everything fixed. He was very helpful and accomodating. read more

We called Armstong to have our entire restaurant (18 locks!) rekeyed. Their technician, Ian, came out to our location within the hour and worked tirelessly, efficiently, and seamlessly without disturbing any business. I never realized how detailed locksmith work can be (until I needed it done) but Armstrong was thorough and detailed. The price was also fair, for such a large job. I would recommend Armstrong for any commercial or residential job. read more
