He was unapolgetic and unconcerned. Bad vibes all around. Really disappointed because I had gotten a great reference on FL Smart Home and was excited to get my project done. Experience is great, but so is integrity. Moving on!

This is likely the weirdest and amongst the worst experiences that I have ever had with a company…read more The owner, Tim Weatherford took a deposit from me to do a Konnected.io alarm board configuration, and then he disappeared, not responding to emails, voicemails or text messages. Then, I get a message that his mom died. I felt terrible for him and told him take the time he needed. I then followed-up about 3 weeks later to check-in; no response. I tried again and again. He then texts me around 1:30AM on night saying he is back and will get working on this. Then, he disappears again. I try by phone, text and email and also via Konnected.io's CEO Nate Clark to reach him, but no luck. I finally text and ask for a my deposit to be refunded. Tim then sends me a text message at 4:23AM, saying he cancelled plans to be able to work on my project this week (after not having spoken to me in weeks). I give him a 37th chance and said Ok. He then peaced-out and hasn't responded since. I told him to forget it and just to refund my deposit. No money back yet. I'm going to do a charge back and also file in small claims court. This guy is a total flake and it needs to be publicized what he's doing. Here are the text messages along. How crazy is this?!

I'm the one that called the owner first to give him a chance to do the right thing. He says I'm being petty, but I don't like it when someone tries to take advantage of me, as I'm sure no one does. Here is the section of their proposal that discusses what is included. Read it and you decide. If no one from the company verbally tells you that there will be a second proposal, would you think something else is needed after reading the following? "Our pricing, unless otherwise noted, includes all labor charges and installation fees. Most of our equipment is priced at or below MSRP but the price you see includes everything needed to install it, thus we call it "installed price." If you need to have the proposal separated we can provide that, but through our experience most clients find installed price easier to understand. Labor charges as of this proposal are $155 per man hour for installation, $185 per man hour for programming, and $125 per man hour for retrofit. Our programming and retrofit labor charges are our best estimates and unless otherwise noted include time for setup and programming of the system plus time for tweaking the program. We have found that most customers require changes within the first 30 days as they begin to use their systems and we will modify the program twice within 30 days after the installation is finished."
