I'm the one that called the owner first to give him a chance to do the right thing. He says I'm being petty, but I don't like it when someone tries to take advantage of me, as I'm sure no one does. Here is the section of their proposal that discusses what is included. Read it and you decide. If no one from the company verbally tells you that there will be a second proposal, would you think something else is needed after reading the following? "Our pricing, unless otherwise noted, includes all labor charges and installation fees. Most of our equipment is priced at or below MSRP but the price you see includes everything needed to install it, thus we call it "installed price." If you need to have the proposal separated we can provide that, but through our experience most clients find installed price easier to understand. Labor charges as of this proposal are $155 per man hour for installation, $185 per man hour for programming, and $125 per man hour for retrofit. Our programming and retrofit labor charges are our best estimates and unless otherwise noted include time for setup and programming of the system plus time for tweaking the program. We have found that most customers require changes within the first 30 days as they begin to use their systems and we will modify the program twice within 30 days after the installation is finished."

Out of at least 20 companies we reached out to, they were the only company that would come on site and evaluate the project. I set up an appointment with Marcos, the owner, and he was so nice, helpful and had excellent advice. He took the time to help construct a solution that would stand the test of time and had a low failure rate. This made me realize that the other contractors would have failed in installing this massive mirror (almost 9'x5'). We had a few blips along the way and he had to install 2 mirrors and had ordered another one due to manufacturer's defects. This was devastating to both of our timelines but the team - Marcos, Josh and Diane - were so professional and reassuring about it all. They knew this would be completed at 100% of our expectations and nothing less. They must have come here half a dozen times to quell any concerns. And, Diane was so nice over the phone. We worked a lot with Josh for the follow up appointments and he is a perfectionist. He made sure the wall was ready for the initial and follow up installs as when you take a mirror down, it can be messy and can also rip down part of the wall too. We also had a 3D bump out which made it more challenging. He and his counterpart measured everything over and over and took his time installing. We are thrilled with the end result. They knew they could do this and they certainly did. They are not the cheapest but they are the most thorough and make sure the project is done to satisfaction. Whether you have an easy project or a tough one, this is the company I'd absolutely trust and recommend.

UPDATE: Initial quote and contract - 5/9/2024 Window install - 6/18/2024 Caps and concerns - 6/29/2024 First Bill Due (financing) - 7/25/2024 Paint - 7/8/2024 The process took roughly two months from start to finish with clear communication from Ben and Rachel. We had a few caulking and paint concerns after installation which they were quick to schedule remediation for (see above). The windows are NOT impact windows, but hurricane rated up to 140 MPH with .21 SHGC, UFactor .3, and Air Leakage .3 or less, and Low E Argon gas (i.e., energy efficient). Purchaded 6 single hung, double pane, tempered glass of various sizes for less than $8K. It was not the cheapest or most expensive quote. Liked the lifetime guarantee (free glass repair, free screen repair, free re-caulking). The 1-YR guarantee is super specific and thus hard to get i.e., includes whether the othet company has lifetime written guarantee, lendth of business, BBB rating, NARI status, etc. Overall, we are satisfied with the purchase, process, and communication. We will be excited to see how well they age. We would recommend the company based on our previous interactions with the company.

They went right to work and by 12:30 pm they were done. The windows looked great. Big improvement. What I liked was that you could put your hand on the inside of a window with direct sunlight coming through it and the inside of the window was cool. Before that room would be very hot during the day. Now it is cool as a cumber. The guys did a terrific job.

Title: Extremely poor experience - long delays, incomplete installation, and no resolution…read more We hired TFT (The Finished Touch) Interiors, owned by Eugene Tondre at last known address 2280 KINGSCREST CIR., APOPKA FL 32712 (address no longer valid), in early January 2025 to install Hunter Douglas blinds throughout our entire brand-new home. First red flag was the required purchase price paid upfront. We were told the blinds would be ready and installed within 6-8 weeks. Instead, the process dragged on for months. We repeatedly had to request updates, and it ultimately took about five months before the blinds were finally installed. Unfortunately, the problems didn't stop there. When installation finally happened, several blinds were missing, some were measured incorrectly, and certain equipment had not even been ordered yet. We were told these issues would be corrected quickly within a few weeks. Instead, several more months passed with the same pattern of delays, vague text messages, and no meaningful progress. After nearly 12 months of trying to resolve the situation, we finally attempted to pursue the matter through small claims court, but the installer could no longer be located for service and would not return phone calls. This entire experience has been extremely frustrating and costly. We are out thousands of dollars and deeply regret hiring this company. My advice to anyone considering this installer is to stay away and find someone else. Beware.

While the other companies delivered quality work, TFT installed a defective curtain rod that would not allow the privacy drapes they installed over our glass patio doors to close properly. We complained appropriately. Owner Eugene Tondre assured us that a new rod had "been ordered" and would be here "in two weeks" but it never arrived. This went on for more than six months. Finally, we had to hire a new company to install a brand new rod at a cost of more than a thousand dollars. I would NEVER do business with Mr. Tondre or his company again, and I strongly advise against doing so under any circumstances unless you want to throw good money away! Telling it like it is.
