Unfortunately the person who answered the phone and tried to help was either new, inexperienced or…read morepossibly only able to provide scripted responses. I was trying to get a safe installed. The dealer only does curbside delivery( they will not put it in the house. They will deliver the safe to the installation company ie ALSS or do curbside to my home and I can arrange for ALSS to come to my location and install it when delivered. After multiple attempts to convey this to the woman answering the phone she asks where is it going to be delivered to. So I give her my address then she asks what address it's going to be installed. When both addresses were the same she said that doesn't work. So obviously an inability to communicate. After multiple attempts to rephrase the situation it became apparent she could not grasp the concept of having the safe delivered to ALSS who would then delivery and install it. I probably should've asked for someone who was better equipped, but by that point I was already frustrated. So in this instance ALSS lost my business. I loathe surveys. This was a waste of my time and a loss of revenue for ALSS. Hopefully they will provide a little better training, unless of course they don't need the business

He comes to the door and say it's going to be $199 to change the lock or $149 just to drill it out. Of course I knew he was trying to swindle me so I called back the operator. She asked what type of lock was it and I informed her it was a single deadbolt. She said it should be $85 total. More than I expected but I agreed. Upon hearing this the guy goes ballistic! Jumps in the car rolls up the window and started screaming from the top of his lungs at someone on the phone. So loud my neighbors started to come out. I call back the operator and they put me on hold for 10 minutes and never came back so I hung up. After 15 minutes of this guy being irate and hostile on the phone he rolls down the window and say he's not going to do it and sped off. The operator stopped answering and I ended up calling pop a lock. Total scam operation. He told me he'd have to replace my lock with a smart lock since that's all they sold. Why quote for $25 then? I'm jus locked out of my house trying to get in not trying to put upgrades on it.

The dealership said I'd have to tow my car there in order to have a key programmed. I googled locksmiths and was fortunate to find Shawn. First, almost broke down the glass door in the back of the home (if I wanted to vandalize my new property, I didn't need assistance!). Then, drilled out part of the doorknob in the garage, but did not do so properly and then claimed he "didn't have the right size drill bit." Again, if you didn't have what you need to do the job properly, why did I call you? Google reviews are at 5stars, which have clearly all been bought/ had poor reviews removed. Asked for payment anyway after this fiasco and we refused- 1)we were still not in the house, 2) now there's damage to the home that we have to repair. Called someone else (in another of my reviews!) and wished we had never called this number. Please avoid, and save yourself the headache. *edited to add* This is 100% true, and my experience with this business. I don't get paid, and have zero to gain from a negative review- other than saving others from the same mistake. I was focused on getting INTO my home, properly, instead of taking photos. Business owner doesn't like my story, tries to say never happened. Check out my other review for a locksmith that happened this same night- took my partner and I some time to find the information of who was called first, but after our verification, this review was written.
