Great food, great service, very reasonably priced. We will return, they have been located here for ever, we need to support our community.

Excellent food, excellent service, and one of my favorite things about diners: the server brought a whole pot of coffee and left it on my table. Yaaas!!! I'm so glad I came here this morning. It's been well over a month since any restaurant was good enough "to write home about." The food, btw, was perfectly cooked. Eggs Benedict aren't super easy to make, so I was very surprised that I could get them with crispy, golden hash browns for under eight dollars! Poor Richard's has provided me with a very auspicious start to my day! Also, Pokémon.

This diner has been around a long time but we have never really managed to check out its food. It's in a part of town through which we never drive, and it's close to no one we know. But we decided to have an early breakfast there this morning. Our first impressions were that it was spacious, it was clean, and the service was quite good. And there was a large, well kept aquarium. We sat in the dining room closest to the parking lot that lies to the east of the building. We noticed that someone has a fascination for lighthouses. We were the third and fourth customers in the building, and the other two were talking to the server close to the kitchen entrance. My girl ordered a water and Poor Scramble; I had a coffee and the Hungry Man. The Poor Scramble is described as "three eggs scrambled with sausage, bacon, mushrooms, green peppers, onions, tomatoes, and hash browns smothered with cheese served with toast." All we tasted were unseasoned hash browns. My Hungry Man is described as "three eggs, two sausage links, one sausage patty, two bacon strips, one ham slice, hash browns and toast." My eggs were over hard. The eggs and the sausage links were fine, the bacon and sausage patty were zeros, and the ham slice tasted like ham but was chewy. The hash browns looked as if they had waved at the flat top on the way to our table. When I have potatoes, whether it comes as hash browns or home fries (cubed or sliced), I like to see a crispy exterior. I'll even tolerate a whole lot of char on my potatoes. There was zero browning on my hash browns. The raisin toast we both had and my coffee were fine. I suppose I can't complain about inaccurate advertising since the restaurant does call it a poor scramble. I chalk the scramble up to unimaginative execution by the kitchen. The flavor profile for the scramble should have been more than just unseasoned potatoes. Following my often stated theory that professional cooks should be able to put out food better than I could prepare, I find that didn't happen this morning. And cooks that treat salt as if it's an exotic ingredient are not cooks that can make food even barely palatable. I was going to be less negative about my dish. I was going to...if I hadn't spent better part of my subsequent morning feeling nauseous and dry heaving.

This place is pretty average nothing spectacular but not very bad food. The cinnamon rolls are great though. The staff was down to earth though.

When Nate Bandit of Louisville's Bourbon Bandits described this diner as a place "that gives you the meat sweats," I knew I had to try it. Poor Richard's offers indoor smoking, bottomless cups of coffee and meat-intensive platters of greasy goodness. On day one, I had the chicken fried steak, three eggs, hashbrowns and toats. The steak arrived smothered in gravy. The hashbrowns were perfectly crispy, and the toast was two FULL slices of toast. It was enough food to two. I ate the whole thing for less than $6. On day two, I had the biscuits and gravy (again with toast and hashrowns). It was delicious and hugely filling. Forgot your smokes? You can buy some at the counter. This place is hangover slayer, and every morning is a low-key party. The tables are big and can be joined together for maximum mob action. Warning: If you dislike smoke or trashy folk, avoid this place.

Country fried steak, 2 eggs, hash browns, toast.

600 is such a cute place for a lovely meal!…read more We have been multiple times but stopped in on a recent sunny afternoon for some lunch. 600 is so light and airy, we really love the atmosphere!! We had a really great waitress, I wish I would have gotten her name! She was doing the job of hostess and waitress to multiple tables, and doing it all very well! We ordered a chicken sandwich and a salad for our lunch entrees! Both were very good and presented very well! While the food is good and quality feels high - the price is also on the high side. For a sandwich and a salad, waters to drink, we spent over $50 for our lunch! Just something to be aware of! While we had time - the experience was not fast. Something to be aware of if needing a quick lunch. The restaurant was not overly busy but the wait was a little long to receive our order. I ordered a salmon salad - the menu nor the website specify if the salmon is wild caught or farmed. I would really love to know this information - the price would be much better reflected if it were indeed wild caught. :)

The service was on the slower side and could have used more attention to detail--coffee refills were missed, and we didn't have spoons to stir our coffee. That said, our server was kind and had a gentle, pleasant demeanor. The food overall was very good. Only one person in our group was disappointed--the chicken and waffles were described as dry, with the chicken coating lacking flavor. Everyone else enjoyed their meals, and the desserts were a standout; they were excellent and loved by all. One area that could use improvement is the upstairs bathroom. While it was well stocked with supplies, it needed cleaning. Clear signage for the upstairs restroom and perhaps a nice piece of artwork would also be welcome touches. Overall, a nice brunch experience with great desserts and room for a few improvements.

Presentation - 10/10 Taste & Flavor - 10/10 When getting food here you can get a good variety of spicy and savory especially when it comes to their burgers their drinks are made with much care. Nothing is too overpowering Portion Size - 10/10 I have a very small stomach so things tend to fill me up regardless however my husband is an endless pit and the burger seemed to fill him up for the time being. It's good for a night out on the town or just drinks with friends they have a wide variety of drinks and drafts and a good burger. I highly recommend giving this place a try if you haven't already they live up to the hype.

My burger has layers of cheese and meat and sauce. Mouth full of goodness. Also my "back forty" burger is only $13. Pretty good deal in 2024. Sides are extra though Sides are not so much, just taste like they are from the freezer and straight into the fryer. Burger is the main character anyway. Drinks are weak, you can probably down a couple mix drinks and still blow below limit. With that being said, this is still a better place to eat and watch a game than BWW.

We stopped by around 1 PM on a Saturday! It was super busy and packed! I love that it's family-friendly! It was fun seeing all of the kids running around and playing games - there are SO many games (two full rooms) from air hockey to arcades games to darts to duckpin bowling to pinball machines to pool tables - they literally have it all! Our daughter enjoyed playing ALL the games while my husband and I enjoyed our beer flights and waited for our food! Food: Our daughter ordered the Kids Mac and Cheese with Kettle Chips. The mac and cheese was cold and dry and her kettle chips were cold and stale. She did not enjoy her meal at all! I wonder if her food sat out while my husband and I's food was being prepared as my kettle chips were more fresh and actually tasted good! I ordered the Cuban with Kettle Chips. This was probably the best Cuban sandwich I have ever had (and I have had quite a few Cuban sandwiches in my lifetime)! The pork was smoked and absolutely delicious and tender! They were not skimpy on the pork either (like some other restaurants can be when ordering a Cuban sandwich)! The bread was perfectly toasted too! My husband ordered Buffalo Wingdings. These were perfectly smoked and fall-off-the-bone good as well (maybe a little too fall-off-the-bone for a wing though)! However, the chicken wings still tasted great! Drinks: My Flight - Straight Forward, Grandpa's Hard, Bad Adz, BBA Wizard Potion, and Bogged Down. Husband's Flight - Stained Glass, Ripped Right, Bad Add, Rogue Red, and Simco. These were all good and we enjoyed them! We will definitely stop by again if we are ever back in the area!
