We have tried several little diners around Plainwell, a central meeting point, but some have closed, we got sick of some, and one kicked us out (Judy's!). We call ahead and let them know every time how many of us there will be. Before, during & after breakfast, there is a lot of chatter among everyone, and the breakfast has never lasted more than 2 hours, but is safe to say it hovers around 1.5 hours. Brit was our server, and she was on top of the 17 orders she took from our table, including keeping everyone's coffees, sodas, and waters filled. Our dishes came out when they were hot, not when everyone's was ready. I appreciate that, getting hot food. Although there was a lot of food goggling at the table, since some would have their plates, and some wouldn't. We're used to this, always being such a big party.
