Purchased a Jacuzzi pool pump from Leslie's 18 months ago for $1,300. On top of the manufacturer's…read more1-year warranty, Leslie gave me an additional 1-year warranty on the pool pump. Well, 18 months later the bearing in the motor is going bad. Called and asked about the warranty. Was told there's a $190 charge for a serviceman to come out to verify the pump bearing is bad. Since I installed it there's also a labor charge to remove and reinstall it after it's repaired. So, a $ 32-bearing part is going to cost me close to $500 to repair it under their warranty? And I can't remove and bring the pump to the store and have the store repair it in the shop!
