The service that Kori provided was outstanding. I'm not the most timely responder to my reviews but I want to be able to be fully confident on the work done over time. This job was done and I would not hire anyone else to do your pool. Kori is very fair in pricing and much lower than the bigger companies. However, he does not sacrifice any ounce of quality workmanship. He can be busy since it is Florida so patience is key, if you want things done correctly. This business gives terrible first impressions. It started when I contacted the number listed here on Yelp. Who I assume to be the business owner, answers the phone as if it's a personal number. I wasn't even sure if I had the right number at that point. Moving past that, we scheduled an appointment so that I could get an estimate for installing a pool heater. On the appointment day, the business owner never showed up or informed me that he wasn't going to make it. After I contacted him offering another chance to come by, he spoke to me in a condescending tone telling me that he had already given me a quote. Obviously not if the whole purpose of our appointment was to provide an estimate. Clearly, he forgot about our appointment but instead of just apologizing and making it right, he chose to be unprofessional. With a business that's this unorganized, I'd be scared to see what level of service they deliver after performing a job. That's a risk I'm not willing to take with a project of this size so I'll shop elsewhere. Update: Now the owner accuses me of lying and is curating lies of his own. The unprofessionalism really shines here. He only called me once and that was after I texted him about missing our appointment. I promptly returned his call and that's when I offered him another chance to come by. When he decided to be condescending on the phone, that's when I told him to forget it. Overall I want to say Best Florida Pools & Spa Repair is good. Pricing was competitive and very fair. Kori was very knowledgable and knew about pool retiling and resurfacing. I know they are busy as contracting services for pool work has been backed up especially in a place like Florida. Sometimes he had to delay but it was mainly due to weather and he would always communicate well with me. The only thing that was a bit of a shortcoming was clean up after the job was finished. I finally posted a negative review about the lack of contact and suddenly I get a call. Kori, gave sad excuses about his kids and ex leaving him, asked to meet and for me to give him 5 stars. Maybe because I was already worn down from going to my grandmother and FIL's funerals, I did. We set up a meeting that he missed. I called him and he said he was in Miami, so tomorrow. The next day I waited again. I texted him 3 hours after our appointment time. He said he was on his way. Half an hour later he texted for my address, which I had given him twice. I finally gave up on him. I had serious events going on in my life as well with my sick daughter. I could not indulge his lack of dependability any longer, especially when I had an oncologist appt to take her to. I told him I was done pool shopping and was concentrating on her medical issues, which I am. I gave the appropriate stars/review and now he threatens me with a lawsuit. read more

Price and initial pitch sounded like a bargain, but dont be fooled. Hired them 3 weeks ago and they have consistently failed to follow through on every commitment. Always an excuse for not showing up. Missed the very first service day, promised again next day, no show again, another promise, another no show. So far we have only one confirmed appearance after 3 weeks, and pool was still dirty after they left. Pool is now green and full of debris, and has still never been cleaned properly after 3 weeks of supposed "weekly full service". This guy is a fraud! And then he wants to be paid at the beginning of each month in advance of performing service. No chance! Youre fired! Do not buy this guy's BS. read more
