Updated 8/20/2026 Unfortunately, I had another pool leak, but once again, Aaron's Leak Detection came through. My pool was remodeled about two years ago, and I have used Aaron's on several occasions to locate leaks. On 5/7/2026, their technician quickly located and repaired a plumbing leak with minimal disruption and no mess. Most recently, the technician returned and discovered a crack near my skimmer that extended vertically down into the pool shell. He explained that the repair would be a temporary patch and, importantly, provided referrals for contractors who could complete the permanent repair. This service call was also covered under the company's warranty from the previous repair on 5/7/2026, which I really appreciated. If you want a company that performs a thorough inspection, knows what they're doing, stands behind their work, and provides excellent customer service, I highly recommend Aaron's Leak Detection. Hands down, they are the company I trust for pool leak detection. Update 5/7/2026: Aaron's Leak Detection came out again after my pool remodel. Cody did a very thorough job, answered all of my questions, and successfully located my plumbing leak. I have used other leak detection companies in the past, and I have found that Aaron's provides much more value in actually locating and identifying the source of the leak. Update 2/28/2025: I spoke with Christian by phone about a possible leak after my pool remodel was completed in May 2024. Christian took the time to explain how much water evaporation I could reasonably expect during that time of year. Excellent customer service! I highly recommend Aaron's Leak Detection! read more

Great service, very detailed analysis, was able to book us short notice & even dove into the pool to get up-close results. Received follow up information after, and gave us an estimate for potential issues. Feel confident with their work based on the phone call & details, and did use them to complete the work. They are very communicative, appreciated the follow up & they did a great job! read more

Welcome to a January through April 2026 story of "two-leak" leak detecting and leak stopping in my 40-year-old in-ground pool: Let's start with a make-sure note pertaining to ALD's warranty: Make sure to hire a pool repair company that Aaron's recommends when ALD detects a leak that requires repair that ALD is not set up to do. Read on for the story about two-leaks .... & ALD's warranty: During December 2025 and early January 2026, I noticed unusually rapid water level dropping in my pool; my pool-knowledgeable neighbor suggested that I ask ALD to detect the leaks. Over the phone ALD agreed with me that my pool's 0.39 inches per day rate of water level (averaged over a week during our cool & no-rain January) warranted a leak detection by their skilled colleagues. A few days later one of ALD's leak detection experts found a sizeable crack in sidewall of my pool and temporarily epoxy-patched it, cautioning me that this epoxy patch was only temporary and that I should seek a permanent repair by one of their approved contractors on a list that he gave me. During the next few days, the pool continued to leak at same rate as before this temporary patch, thus validating ALD's guidance to seek permanent repair from an ALD approved contractor. So, I did. Within a few days ALD's approved contractor Aquaworks permanently repaired the sidewall crack; during subsequent week the pool leaked at 85% of the leakage rate before this permanent repair, thus indicating that significant leaking persisted. So, ALD warranty time. After I informed ALD that significant leaking persisted and that I had retained an ALD-approved contractor to repair the crack that caused the first leak they detected, ALD promptly sent an expert to detect additional leaking. ALD's expert found that Aquaworks had properly sealed the wall crack, and he found a leak in the main drain at bottom of pool's deep end. After he carefully epoxy-plugged that main drain leak (scuba gear required!), my pool's rate of water level dropping during a warmer March week reduced to less than 0.2 inches per day, within a rate typically caused by evaporation. As of end of April, pool water level reduction rates remain at evaporation rates. Many thanks to ALD for their diligent and persistent efforts to find and fix two leaks that attacked my 40-year-old pool. Note to self (& other prospective ALD customers): Retain a pool repair company that ALD recommends when they find a leak that requires significant repair. Cooperate with ALD and they'll cooperate with you. read more

Great, fast service for good value. Fixed our mystery leak in the pool in one visit--my only regret is not calling them weeks earlier. They were great on the phone, understood our issues and communicated beautifully throughout the process, even over a holiday weekend. Highly recommend. read more

Competent and professional service. Found the leak in our pool. Very thorough inspection.

They were prompt, offered good value for the service. They included leak detection as well as in pool caulking for no extra charge. They were very accommodating when we opted to self repair the leak they found. I would highly recommend them. read more

Absolutely top notch service. We used their leak detection services and then used them to replace an old skimmer. Their communication/scheduling was fantastic. The employee, Frances, couldn't have been nicer and he worked so hard all day. His work was very good and he left the area looking better when he left then when he got there. Would totally recommend and use them again. read more

Wow wow wow! What great service!! We called over Thanksgiving and knew not to expect a call until Monday after the holiday..and right on time they called and we booked a visit. We got lucky, they were booked solid for the week but had a cancellation and they called us! We took the appointment and they called 30 minutes prior to arrival. They explained everything they were going to do,and got right to it!!! First look, they found what they called a SUBSTANTIAL leak and fixed it, right then and there!!! I was so impressed.. but.. I also thought... Oh no... first jet, how many more and what is this going to cost me...so I let them finish and luckily everything else was good!!! They gave us pointers on how to do ba few things differently on our pool and stayed until the pool was back up and running properly before they left and all of their time spent here did not cost us anymore than what they quoted!! I was and am super impressed with their service!!! Thank you!!!! read more

The service and quality of work this company provides is unbelievable. They're straight forward and they're not trying to nickel and dime people like some of the other companies out there. Had an opportunity to have a Aaron's Leak Detection come out to the neighbors pool and watch the entire process. Very interesting with the end results being the leak was found and repaired all in one visit. read more

Highly recommend. They promptly called back and had me scheduled for service. Dan, the owner, personally called to answer questions I had. Toby, the tech, called to let me know his eta and arrived on time. He had a large cart with all the equipment needed to diagnose the issue. He had more equipment in the van. He was polite and knowledgeable. It was clear he knew what he was doing. It took him about 20 minutes to setup and within 20 minutes had located the issue. I called several other companies, including one I hear advertising on the radio. Did not get good vibes from them. With Aaron's, I felt like they valued me and my time. It's been over a month now and I didn't have to fill up my pool once!!!! I was doing that 3 times a week before... I am thrilled that they were able to find it, fix it and is saving me a TON of water and headache!!! read more

We had a great experience with them. We kept losing water in our pool and at first I thought it was evaporation. Then I received our water bill which was double the usual and the next month was triple. The water department even left something for us suggesting our toilets may be leaking with some tablets to use to test them. I found Aaron's on AngiesList where there were great reviews. I liked the fact that they charged a flat fee and also that if they didn't find a leak there was no charge. They were very professional and very good with communications and appointments. The process was explained to us and we set up an appointment. Unfortunately I don't recall the name of the guy who performed the service but he was great. He explained everything to us - what he would do, how he would test, etc. He went about the testing and found that we were losing some water from two water jets that never worked. He plugged those up. Then he found the real problem - which was a pipe a number of feet away from the pool and underground which was leaking. He showed us how it came up like a faucet when he forced air down from the skimmer. He made a call and quoted us a price for the repair. While he was there he also fixed our pool light which was loose. Very happy with his work and the results. We made an appointment for the following week for the repair. As scheduled and on time workers came out to fix the pipe underground which was causing the main pool leak. I wasn't home when they did it but my husband said they were very nice and did a great job. Best of all the pool no longer leaks. We haven't had to add water in the several weeks since it was repaired -- before that we added water a few times a week. I'm looking forward to getting my next water bill and expect it to go back to 'pre leak' levels. Highly recommend Aaron's Leak Detection service - outstanding service with outstanding results. His prices were also very reasonable. Thanks. read more

I had to wait over a week for an appointment, but the service was excellent. Technician arrived on time, quickly inspected the pool and plumbing, and repaired 3 small leaks around the return jets. $375 flat fee covered everything! I was adding water every few days; now I haven't had to add water in two months! read more

We had a leak in our pool and contacted Aaron's leak detection. A technician conducted a comprehensive assessment of our pool, took pictures of numerous things and was able to identify the lake in the light housing. He did a temporary patch of the leak and was very pleasant. He returned a week later to do a permanent fix. Everything went as advertised. Very satisfied with the work. read more

They were very professional and found the leak after a thorough inspection. Repaired and everything is perfect. Thank you.

Clear, concise, on time, incredibly communicative and fair pricing - appreciate your help!

These guys are prompt and honest. Figured it out and even told me how easy it was to fix. Simply the best.

Aaron's is great! We bought a new house and noticed that the pool was losing water fast. I was really concerned that leak detection would be absurdly expensive. Aaron's flat rate gave me a lot of peace of mind. $375 covered a very thorough leak detection, including plumbing pressure testing. Toby found four leaks that he was able to repair with epoxy. The repairs were included in the flat fee! The pool is doing great. Thanks, Toby! read more

Jason helped us with our pool leak and he was very professional! He was prompt and informative. We will definitely use him again.

Oh my gosh, these guys were great. We were loosing a lot of water in the pool. Another company came out and said it was the light, and fixed the light. It kept leaking. The other company talked about possibly digging up our yard to check the plumbing...no way. I called Aarons, they came out with wet suits, equipment, and checked everything. They found the problem and fixed in. NO, leaks any more. It has been great. They are in my address book now for the future. No, they didn't need to dig up my entire yard either. It had something to do with the main drain at the bottom of the pool. YES, do try them. They prices are reasonable and once the work is done, its done, the pool is fixed. Thank you Aaron's read more

I would strongly recommend Aaron's Leak Detection. They are the most ethical, reliable, honest company I have ever used. I had a few particularly difficult leaks in my pool and it took them five trips to finally seal them all. Each tech that came out was patient, friendly and explained each step in the process. They were more than willing to don a wetsuit and dive into a freezing cold pool to seek out the smallest of leaks until all were found and fixed. The techs came when they were scheduled to come and always called before arrival. When they left there was no trace of them having been there. Clean, polite, on time and experienced. You won't be sorry you called them. read more

We had pavers placed on the patio and pool deck at the home we recently moved into. Prior to the work being done, Aaron's LD helped us gain a sense of the pool's structural integrity by checking for occult leaks (pool is over 15yrs old). Their report gave us peace of mind in knowing that we likely wouldn't have to rip up the new pavers to fix any problems in the near future. They also educated us on what to look for in terms of normal vs pathologic water loss. They were professional, efficient, and honest, and they went beyond the expected level of service. I highly recommend them. read more
