He came out a few times to drain the pool and noticed a few cracks developing. After, he claims its going to take an additional 17k and a complete pool removal. I found another professional pool company who came out and assessed the pool. His 20 years experience paid off! He's not only is fixing my pool for less but is also giving me a 5 year warranty. Gracie Pool owner claimed our contract was un-refundable. After threats of legal action, he agreed to give me 2,500 back. Extremely manipulative, would only call my wife with BS explanations. So far they're doing a great job. My pool was drained and acid washed because the last service company let it turn green with algae along the edges and all through the fountain. It got out of control when I fired them because there was a gap in service for three weeks making various phone calls and waiting for Aquaworks to come out. They were not the first company I called. I had a no-show from one company and a late call back from another. It's hard to find good people. So far my fountain is getting a little green again. I spoke to my maintenance guy and he said it needs to be sprayed with bleach often. I had tried that in the past but had no idea they pool bleach and liquid bleach for laundry were different concentrations. He informed me that pool bleach was much stronger. He recommended a sprayer which I have since ordered. He also offered to fill it up with the pool bleach for me! I anticipate that this week. One of my qualms is their documentation. They sent me a receipt for draining the pool and upgrading my equipment etc but the receipt it not itemized at all. It just says here's the charge and that I paid. Kinda weird. The upgrade to the pool equipment has been a life saver. All this time I thought my pool vacuum sucked. It actually doesn't. It works great now that the pipes are the size they're supposed to be. Fantastic! Saved me from converting my pool vac to a jet powered one. They said the suction powered one is best for enclosed pools anyway. I appreciate they didn't try to up sell me on stuff I don't need. Seems like an honest company that is family owned. So far maintenance is going well.

We had never owned a pool before and Tom taught us what we needed to know. We had a standard chlorine pool system when we purchased our home, after a bit of research and a knowledge share with Tom we decided to change to what we call a salt water pool system. We have had our main pump replaced, large filter and housing replaced, a pressure return connected for our pool robot to name a few. With all this done we have received a Service Invoice sent for the work to be approved, it gives information on what is to be done and the cost. Yes, our service team member has changed over time but, if there is any issue we call the main office let them know and it is corrected if need be. We are notified of any changes to the cleaning schedule, and with the weather here I'm surprised everything runs so smoothly. Having just gone through back to back hurricanes recently our pool was kept balanced so we could use it if need be. I'm am so glad Tom and his team are our Pool Service Company. We were kept informed and up to date on service and chemicals and it was cleaned as soon as it could be. Be realistic about the teams time constraints, our pools are not the only one the team takes care of in a day.
