Just over a year after installation, the new pool coating is failing. There are numerous voids where the coating did not adhere to the pool shell. Those sections are now discolored, and calcium flakes are forming where air voids exist behind the coating. Best Florida Pool and Spas acid washed the surface earlier this year. This would have been an opportunity to identify the adhesion problem, but the issue was either not recognized or not communicated to me. Separately, Best Florida Pool and Spas installed a heater a few years ago that remains under warranty. The circuit board has failed. I have requested the purchase invoice needed to file a warranty claim, and they have not provided it. My recommendation to anyone considering this company: put a formal written contract in place before proceeding, so that you have clear documentation and legal recourse if problems arise.

We were truly impressed with the Dale and his team and their professionalism and service, so when we needed a new weekly pool service company, I called them. They started the following month. So far they have been great! I see the same tech, Adam every week (and he has been working there a long time), he's friendly and thorough and actually has only good things about the company he works for, which is family and locally owned btw. Each week they send me an invoice via email showing what they have done and letting me know if I need to do anything like add water. He will also ring the bell if I am home to tell me anything important and/or leave a note. I like that they also are certified to work on our pool equipment. Overall very happy with this company and team and would highly recommend!

I later received a call from Luis. Soon after calling me he put me on hold in order to answer another call, which I found rude. We scheduled an appointment for him to come over and take a look. The time of the appointment passed and Luis didn't come. I called him to check whether he was on his way and he told me that he got stuck at another job and couldn't come. Even though he had no intention of coming that day, he didn't bother to let me know. It appears that this company is related to another pool company called Swim Solutions. Most recently he sold us a refurbished replacement heater for our pool/spa. It was a 300,000 BTU unit and good brand. He said the unit had been removed from one of his commercial pools, it was a couple years old and in good working order. He claimed he did a tune up and sold it to us at a great price, fully installed and with a one year warranty. It seemed too good to be true and it was. After two uses the heater started to cutoff at a low temperatures and was useless. of course, we reached out to Shiek immediately but he stopped responding to my texts, I even dropped by his storefront and he refused to see me. The employee at his counter said she would pass the message along that I came by and informed me they were only open on an appointment only basis going forward. The problem with the heater doesn't bother me as much as the stonewalling. I even offered to pay for any parts required to repair the unit in one of my many text messages that he ignored. At this point all I can do is warn anyone thinking of doing business with Xtream - beware.

He and his team worked hard each day, and he was always responsive with our questions and communicated throughout. He was patient with our design decisions and collaborated on modifications needed to work with the expected challenges of a remodel of a 30 year old pool. Gracie Pool owner claimed our contract was un-refundable. After threats of legal action, he agreed to give me 2,500 back. Extremely manipulative, would only call my wife with BS explanations.
