Normally, I only write positive reviews, but this time I have to speak up. I have used Shiek and Xstream on a couple projects. Most recently he sold us a refurbished replacement heater for our pool/spa. It was a 300,000 BTU unit and good brand. He said the unit had been removed from one of his commercial pools, it was a couple years old and in good working order. He claimed he did a tune up and sold it to us at a great price, fully installed and with a one year warranty. It seemed too good to be true and it was. After two uses the heater started to cutoff at a low temperatures and was useless. of course, we reached out to Shiek immediately but he stopped responding to my texts, I even dropped by his storefront and he refused to see me. The employee at his counter said she would pass the message along that I came by and informed me they were only open on an appointment only basis going forward. The problem with the heater doesn't bother me as much as the stonewalling. I even offered to pay for any parts required to repair the unit in one of my many text messages that he ignored. At this point all I can do is warn anyone thinking of doing business with Xtream - beware. read more

Made the decision to begin maintaining my own pool, and after a visit to Xstream Pools I feel more at ease with the decision. Sheik, the owner is very knowledgeable and willing to educate customers through the process. He collected a sample of water from my pool and walked me through the results along with WHY the results came back the way they did. He was extremely friendly and even offered his personal contact to reach out anytime I may have a question, truly over the top customer service. As others have mentioned, I HATE the corporate store! They only push on you want they want to sell, without ever listening to what I KNOW about my pool water. I have taken the time to educate myself about my pool and the chemistry involved in keeping it pristine. Sheik has taken the time to get to know me, my pool, and my life. When I walk in, it's, "How's life" or "What's going on in your world", not "How much can I sell you today". I only have a 5000 gal above-ground pool, but I feel as if I'm just as important as the guy with a 50,000 gal salt water pool and grotto! If you want ANYTHING from fresh chemicals, to filtration systems, floating speakers, or anything in between, Xstream Pools is a MUST VISIT! Relying on a business with just three five-star glowing reviews should raise suspicions. I certainly learned my lesson.... Shiek, Xsstream Pools owner scheduled an appointment for a Monday morning to repair my pool heater that stopped working due to the igniter module failing. I took the morning off of work and when Shiek failed to show, I called him. He responded by text explaining he had to order a new part and was expecting it in two days. He promised to call to confirm when it arrived. It would certainly have been nice if he had informed me that he was waiting for the part before I took the morning off of work and had to contact him to check if he was going to follow through with the appointment he set. I responded with a text asking Shiek to set the appointment for the end of the week so I wouldn't have to take any more time off of work. I also asked if he could provide me with an approximate price. He responded with the following text: "I will call you or text you later with a price". After waiting four days for Shiek to get back to me I called Pool Service and Maintenance Professionals. They came out the day after I called and replaced the part in 10 minutes. It's been a month and I'm still waiting to hear from Shiek. read more

Sheik (owner) had reached to me and asked for a second chance with an opportunity to make up for my missed time. I went today as my automatic vacuum needing servicing. When I first got there at 1pm, the shop was not open. I called the number on the sign and got Sheik by cell. He advised that he was about 20 minutes away. I ran another errand to kill the time. When I returned, the shop was open. Sheik is personable and apologized for the delay. He did a great job with the tune up while I waited. He knows his stuff and did the work in a short amount of time. Again, I am happy to support small local shops. We talked about my prior visit. He advised that the shop was closed for a 3 week holiday. Had a sign up, but it may have disappeared. Sheik says that a lot of his regulars will text him first to make sure he is in the shop. Good idea, or call ahead to check. I would recommend this shop now. Would have given him 5 stars but again, shop was not open during posted hours. But, Sheik was true to his word and made good on his offer. read more

We are extrememly happy with the service we've received from Xstream Pools. We had used another pool service for years but they recently acted as if they didn't need our business. Sheik has been responsive, friendly, and professional. He doesn't try to sell us services or products we don't need. He seems more interested in teaching us how to care for our older in-ground spa. Love this store, whenever i need something quick this is the spot. Very personable unlike other stores i won't mention that rhyme with "preslies". The owner of the shop, sheik is super friendly and knows his stuff. This is the only place i go to, if he doesn't carry it, he will get it for you, FAST.
