When they closed the pool they didn't empty the water and blamed us that the heater needed to be replaced and so we ordered a new one. They said it was due to our chemicals, which were always balanced. They installed the new heater and cut the liner which caused a leak. They told us they didn't do it. They didn't have time to fix it as their son got hurt. The pool wasn't leaking before the large cut in the liner where they installed the liner. They decided to come out to repair the liner. It didn't work. It was a bunch of blue goop brushed on. Again, they told us it was our problem and the people that installed the pool. I had a pool leak rest of the summer. I didn't pay the second half of the heater as my pool was leaking. They refused to fix it. I had two companies out here to look at the damage. This leak was not due to the original installation. It was from the install of the new heater where the tear was and the repair didn't work. It was an obvious slice where they installed the heater. Also when these companies came and looked at the old heater and they could tell the water wasn't emptied out of the heater when they closed the pool. Communication is horrible, they don't respond. The one gentleman who helps with chemicals is phenomenal, but other than that, the emails they sent me were mean. I paid for the other half of the heater as I had no choice. It was costly for me to continue fighting for a liner. Find another source if you can. They do not care about their customers and they take no responsibility for their work. They only have time for their in ground customers.

0 STARS, Please read. We were scammed by Clinton Pro Group/Backyard Oasis (CPG/BO), a certified…read moreLatham pool installer recommended by Latham. Our project was proposed as a 10 day installation but stretched to over 190 days before CPG/BO abandoned their project. CPG/BO repeatedly failed to adhere to their contract, industry standards, manufacture requirements and building codes, causing extensive damage and financial loss. Fill dirt was placed in an unapproved location, and our septic field was repeatedly driven over, costing us $3,000 to correct. Excavation was performed incorrectly, causing pool shell warpage that Latham later confirmed was due to installer error, not manufacturing defects. Required daylight drainage was falsely claimed to be impossible; a third party later proved adequate fall more than existed, costing us an additional $6,600 to correct. Improper backfilling of steps and seats, $2,700 to patch the skimmer hole cut in twice at the incorrect height, installation of the incorrect skimmer type, and incorrect/faulty plumbing all placed our manufacturer warranty at risk. Electrical, plumbing, and gas lines were left out of code compliance, including missing tracer wire. A safety check valve was removed, causing the pool heater to explode and damaging additional equipment. Purchased equipment was damaged, missing, improperly installed, or later found to be used rather than new. An auto cover costing $18.5K, we only received the incorrectly assembled storage box & damaged tracts. A $2,500 diving board was damaged and incomplete, completely unusable. CPG/BO stopped showing up as they got further in over their capabilities, attempted to rewrite the contract to remove their liability while demanding additional pre-completion payments when we had already paid in full, and ultimately completely abandoned the project. Independent inspection estimates revel over $98,000 in repairs and excavation corrections are needed. We have paid over $100,000 already in this project and must now start over due solely due to CPG/BO's negligence and deception. There is more disappointment but I have exceeded Yelp's character limits... In closing, you will be money ahead to avoid this company at all costs.

Sorry I can't afford your $5000 pools! Be nice to people. I knew what I was looking for and was in the right section

Horrible experience working with this company. We purchased an above ground pool from them last…read moreyear. When the pool was originally installed, the inlet and outlet lines were hooked up backwards. This caused the pool to sit for weeks without being able to run the pump. It cost us hundreds of dollars in extra chemicals to get the water cleared and stains off the liner once they finally came back and hooked it up correctly. The sand under the liner has huge divots in it that trap leaves and debris that our vacuum will not catch. The pavers that were thrown down on the ground for the pool equipment to sit on were all out of level, un-even, and looked horrible causing the pool equipment to be WAY out of level. Our heater and pump were placed backwards which left no access to the electrical cabinet of the heater to be able to wire it, which was also a code violation for electrical clearances. I had to redo the whole set up myself to correct it. The heater has also leaked so bad since new that it drops our water level over an inch a week. I recently scheduled service for the heater because it would not run and was invoiced $375 for the service call. Their tech was onsite for maybe 15 minutes. I called to complain about this invoice thinking that with all the issues we have had that they would credit this invoice for our troubles. The customer service I received on this call was the worst I have ever experienced. The young man that answered the phone sounded like a 18-21 year old kid. After getting no where with him I asked for his supervisor. He said he was the supervisor. I then asked for the owner of the company and he claimed to be the owner of the company also. I responded with "I highly doubt you're the owner of the company," and his response was "bet?" Whatever that means. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. Installing a pool should be an exciting experience but with Pleasure Pools and Spas it's nothing short of miserable.

I have done business with this company for years and due to identity theft issues I will never give my card number over the phone. This is unfortunate for me so I will vent here that a business that can not make arrangements with know your regular customers will lose them. I said I was happy to write a check to the repair person that day if the part was a different and not the "Mother Board" under warranty Ugh
