I had a Jet controller that came loose and they blamed us for over turning the jet. This jet was not sealed and glued to the tub like the rest of the jet controls. Then Huff Pool and Spa charged me a service charge or a Jet control that has not been properly installed. I called the company and they told me that since I purchased a new winter cover for the hot tub I voided warranty. What does a cover have to do with a Jet? Both Huff Pool and Spa and QCA will do anything to say you voided warranty. Run far away from this spa company. Buy a Jacuzzi Brand, totally worth the money.

My family has owned hot tubs 30+ years. We've always taken very good care of the spas, which have…read moreeach lasted 15-20 years. Between 2017 and 2019, my parents, my neighbors, and myself all bought the exact same 2 person hot tub from QCA, and all 3 of us have had problems despite taking very good care of our hot tubs. We each spent nearly $3k each on the hot tub. Both my parents and I had to replace our hot tub covers after just 2 years because they were disintegrating. By 2021, the circuit board on our friend's hot tub stopped working - they spent nearly $1k to repair and replace it. Just 4 years into owning our hot tub, the entire wood base of our hot tub crumbled and has literally fallen apart - the hot tub is totally unstable and unusable. We checked the wood base of my parent's hot tub & they are having the same problem with a rotting wood base. When we contacted QCA, we learned the wood used to build the base IS NOT pressure treated at all. QCA customer service has been non-existent. The purchasing manager (initials are RM) is extremely difficult to get ahold of. After 2 months, he finally offered me a measly $150 to repair 1 hot tub, even though it will cost roughly $1k (labor & materials) to hire someone to rebuild a new base. The manager has stopped returning emails and he has never returned a phone call. I have asked multiple times to speak with the owner of the company and have never heard from him or her either. We have not been able to use our hot tub since January 2023 and it is now almost May - still no resolution or response from the company. I would strongly recommend that you NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY - they have at least 2 formal complaints and 1 poor review with the BBB. Based on these other complaints, I know QCA will reply and say that some of my info is false, that I did not take care of my hot tub correctly, and they will "defend" their side of the story, etc. The bottom line is that QCA is not held accountable & does not take responsibility for poor quality products (ex - wood for a hot tub is not pressure treated, which seems like hot tub 101) or for their extremely poor customer service.

I bought from these guys a few years ago, and just had my first issue! One of the reasons I bought…read morefrom them is because how much I value a company that handles repairs and sales (you better know about what you sell...right?). They did an amazing job! Cesar came over and diagnosed, and then sent a tech from his team once the parts came in...so I thought I was in the clear...but then the error kept happening??? So they came back and were able to quickly diagnose and fix it without any additional work to be done. There was a weird thing that was definitely caused by my son or one of his friends- but I had no idea it made such a difference. Working great again! These guys are pros. And they are the only hot tub company around here I would recommend for buying a hot tub or servicing one!

The owner answered and offered to pick it up 2 days later when I was available. He was very professional when he arrived. I helped him load it up and he was off, took about 15 minutes. I asked for an update about 7 days later. It took a couple days for a response, but I got it. He had to order parts. About 10 days later he sent me a pic of the repairs. A couple days after that, a pic of it running without leaks. A couple days later he delivered my hot tub. About 3 weeks total. The price was right in the middle of his high and low estimate, which I felt was very reasonable. He asked for a few hundred down payment before pick up, which was a bit unnerving, but he had to drive almost an hour to my house so I can understand he's not working for free. The remainder was paid on delivery. The work looked really good and I've been using my tub with no problems.

We contacted Bureau County Pool Builder's this spring to take down a pool in our neighbor's yard and install it in our yard. When I initially contacted them, they created a work order, gave me a quote and secured our name on the list, even informing me they had a crew that would be down in our area and they would put our name on the list so the job could be completed while they were down here, taking about 3 days to complete. We then ordered a new pool liner, gaskets, etc. On May 25th, I received a call from them about the work order and everything was finalized. She told me the payment would be due on the first day they arrive on the job. I called back in June asking for a more specific time frame so we could make plans accordingly as to when they'd be down here. She told me our job was scheduled for after the 4th of July but prior to the first week of August. I called them this morning to see if they had any more specific dates and was informed they can no longer do the job because they have so many new pool contracts from the Great Escape and our work order was on the administration desk to be called today and informed of this. I was flabbergasted to say the least. They told me the contractor made this decision last night. I told them this was very unfortunate that our neighbors have been waiting on this as well as us who purchased everything needed and it's now almost the end of summer and it's highly unlikely another company would be able to complete this job this summer. Nothing was done on their end to remedy this situation and I was very unsatisfied with their customer service. Lisa, the person I spoke with was very unprofessional and offered no help or solutions, only telling me to Google other options. We've only heard great things about this company, but after this personal experience, I would not recommend them to anyone. Bureau County Pool Builders, Inc.
