Frankly, because of so many contractors who never show up, I only half expected them to show. But they did, within the time frame specified. The technician, Mike, diagnosed the problem within seconds, and fixed it right away. Sure enough, this morning, the tub is completely fixed! I'm a very happy client. Thank you!

I have heard so many nightmare stories of delays and cost over runs and shady dealings in this industry. Jim was a very good communicator from the beginning and went above and beyond helping me navigate the decisions that needed to be made. Some decisions may seem minor but drive a huge cost, Jim was especially helpful here. Many, I am sure would take advantage of a first time pool owner in situations like that, but Jim's practical and professional advice really helped me stay inside my budget and to get the beautiful backyard lagoon I always dreamed of. Further, I would personally vouch for Jim's character. As I have gotten to know him, I would say that you will have a difficult time finding someone more trustworthy and dependable. There was zero attempt to sell me something I didn't need AND he coached me for things to consider in the future...even telling me how to expertly do what they do. Fredy had been taking care of my mom's pool for many years. He started dealing with me when she got…read moresick in July of 2024. When she passed away in November, his office and I had been in contact with each other both in Marin and over the phone when I was home in Los Angeles. When my mom's credit cards got cancelled after her passing, I didn't realize he had stopped getting paid. Even though he had my mom's phone number, mine, and my boyfriend's, no one called to tell me I owed them money. Instead, they continued to send bills to her empty house and then cancelled the service in January. He knew she was sick, that I was the one paying the bills, and that I didn't live in her house or in the area. I was unaware of all of this, and had assumed they were still get automatic payments. When I arrived back in Marin mid January to take care of her affairs, I realized that not only had they stopped coming, but that the pool sweep was also missing. I immediately called and was told that they took the pool sweep because it was "broken". What was wrong with it? No one could really explain. Did they remove it to fix it and bring it back? Doubtful since they hadn't been paid for two months. Why would they fix the sweep if they weren't paid for service? Obviously they had taken the pool sweep to reimburse themselves for those two months. Pretty sure that's illegal - to remove someone's property from their house. It's called stealing. I insisted Fredy give back my pool sweep - obviously I was going to pay him once I found out they were owed. I would have done so if they had made any effort in contacting me. I had to wait an additional two weeks for him to bring it to me - I tried to call them during that time to arrange me picking it up, but no one answered the phone or called me back. Fredy himself came to the house to hand deliver it. Funny to me that he didn't even know how much I owed him. I had to tell him! Lucky for him I'm honest. He said the problem with the sweep was that the wheels were wobbly. Totally bullshit. Horrible customer service. Absolutely no follow through. Cheaper than other places I have called to replace him, but obviously, you get what you pay for. Avoid. Responding to Fredy's response. I had my mom's phone live until January. I received no messages on her phone. If anyone called, no one left a message. Granted, my mom had her phone through November and she wasn't in any position to answer it, but I checked it daily then, and also after she passed. Not sure what number you used but it wasn't hers. I can't come up with any other reason the pool sweep would have been taken if no one was paying. Or why it wasn't returned the day you guys stopped coming. Unless you were planning on keeping it.

Odd/hostile experience working with Dakota and Andrew at Sullivan…read more There was minor damage to the cover of our hot tub on a service call and instead of accountability, Dakota blamed the age of the cover. It was a strange mix of defensiveness and blame on the call itself. We had an issue with the tub draining after a power outage and Sullivan saying that was impossible unless there is a leak or crack. Ok, well if it is a leak and crack then possibly inspect those areas as a service/repair service? I'm not an expert in hot tubs. We purchased a house that had a new hot tub installed, and the continued response of the hot tub being old for the reason why the damage occurred is weird. The middle part of the cover was also ripped apart from the seams and there was minimal accountability there as well. The new Operations Manager had a weird, defensive response as pictured below. You can be the judge if this is an off response to damages in an inspection and repair. The hot tub after servicing is also still leaking. We needed to hire another local servicer to do this repair work who properly described what might be the issue BEFORE coming out to work on the hot tub.

They are poor business people who I do not trust. I was treated rudely by both. I could have had their tub almost immediately but I figured if they will treat me poorly on about a $6000 purchase (they were less than Jacuzzi), what will happen after they have my money & I have a problem? Jacuzzi of course is the name brand. I can trust them. I also trust Ed Moore. We were told that due Covid supply chain issues the wait about be 10-12 months. We waited a little longer. Everyone was polite & responsive. Robert, head of the delivery crew was helpful. We bought the J-315 which is a smaller unit. That is all of the space we had. The purchase was for relaxing sore muscles & not for parties. It was $9000+ when I ordered & $13,000+ today. The manual explains a lot but doesn't explain everything. That is where ED MOORE comes in. I visited him a few times & was a question box. Everything is functioning properly. The jets hit the areas I want them to hit. I know at motels I have found some hot tubs only focus on the lower & mid back & not the shoulders.

After I insisted, customer service ghosted me. I'm probably going to have to take them to small claims court.
