We ordered the brisket sandwich with Mac and Cheese. The dining room was clean and orderly. It seems there are only 1 person working the drive thru and front cashier and one cook. I'm pretty sure the girl at the front just asked for help from the management to assist at the register but she just walked off....I could be wrong. All of our food was good and I liked that they have a variety of sauces. The drive thru sign is out so there's a little bit of a cluster behind that. There has been at total of 8 people come in so maybe that's why there's a skeleton crew. Overall good meal and experience for my first time in.

Everything was delicious, except the brisket was dry and burned. I called the resturant. The manager on duty, Artis was very apologetic and allowed us to return it and replaced it. The brisket was freshly cooked and soon delicious. The best I've ever had actually. They also added some $5 coupons. Thank you Artis and the team there on Sunday 5/17/26. It's not my first time giving an excellent review. I recommend highly and will dine there again and again

We had a great experience at Sweet Auburn BBQ! Everything we tried was delicious -- the brisket and…read moreribs were incredibly tender and flavorful, the pimento cheese wontons were amazing, and the cheesy grits were so good! The service was just as good as the food! Our server, Chris, was incredibly kind, friendly, and patient. He took the time to answer all our questions and made us feel very welcome. Great BBQ, delicious food, and wonderful service. We'll definitely be back!

TLDR: pretty good, especially for Atlanta area bbq. Great onion rings. Meat+pickle+bread+sauce=good…read morebite. We came here as a large group wanting to compare to places like heirloom bbq and (perhaps unfairly) places we've had in Texas. I shared with a group of 3 people and we ordered 1 pound of brisket, 1/2 a pound of turkey, and an app of onion rings. For the brisket, we asked specifically for the fattier side when we ordered, and honestly we were pleasantly surprised. Definitely better than fox bros, and as good as heirloom. Sadly there were still some dry parts so can't just give a 5. Seasoning was pretty good, and where it was lacking the 2 bbq sauces made up for it. One was vinegar based and another was a molasses coffee sauce that I quite enjoyed. The turkey was not as juicy / tender as I've had at places in Texas, but it was still pretty good. I would recommend if you need a palate cleanser from the heavier red meats. The onion rings were surprisingly good! Shatteringly crispy and when you bite into the onion ring you don't just pull the whole onion out. One piece was overbattered but overall not too heavy. I wish they had a blue cheese dip though Our server was very nice and also filled our waters attentively. 20% tip is already included for larger parties. All in all, would come here again if I'm in the area, and they have some fantastic weekday lunch deals too.

The server, Kenia, was so sweet and attentive, and knew everything about the food. We even got to meet Babae herself, and talked with her for a while about the history of the business. She takes pride in her restaurant and it shows through the food. I got a monster burger, fries, and homemade Mac& cheese, and everything was perfect. My friend got the porkchops and other sides, and also was raving. Definitely recommend!

She expanded from cooking for her churchfellows. Spacious room, 20+ tables, clean. Serve perch, mullet, catfish as well as bbq'd meats. Baked beans are a star--richly maple-sweet and meaty. Lima beans made with pig tail bones and flavorful but perhaps too salty. Baked mac & cheese was great/cheesy, but I'm a creamier/not baked fan. Unique peach cobbler with a light cake and peaches on the bottom. Delicious change. Anxious to try the grits & fish breakfast. I have no doubt Mz Babae will have a following with her southern/soul food. PROS--friendly staff, (Danica-attentive server) sat quickly, nice flavors, great prices, fair portions, served piping hot, owner visited table, real silverware & plates, great menu options including burgers and sandwiches, hot dogs, serve breakfast, lunch & supper CONS-unpleasant odor upon entering, water tastes like well water, didn't enjoy pig tail bones in the meaty lima beans and the (delicious) baked beans, Pepsi products.

The service was fine, but the food itself missed the mark for me. The seasoning was bland, the sides didn't have that homemade taste I was hoping for, and shortly after eating, I started feeling nauseous, which was disappointing and concerning. I wanted to love it, but the meal just didn't live up to the name or the hype.

At first I thought the prices were a little high but then I saw what all we got and it was well worth what they charge. We actually were confused at first by the Vegan trailer outside. I assumed they cooked in the house and sold out of the food trailer but that is a whole separate business, when I asked for meat they said "over there." We went inside the house and we were greeted by 2 nice beautiful ladies that explained all our questions, as it was our first trip in, and we put our order in. There is a good bit of room inside if you want to dine in but we were on the road so Togo it was. We ordered the 2 ribs lunch, a half rack which was 6 bones and the pork sandwich. I got the hot bbq on the half rack and it was actually medium in hotness just fyi. I'm not a huge fan of beef ribs because most people can't get them tender enough but TOH did the deed and they were fairly tender. We will be back again to try other options.
