We are very happy with our new hot tub that we purchased from Jeremy and Henry at Southwest Spas…read more They were nice enough to hold on to our tub at their facility until we were able to get HOA approval, 220v electrical hook-up and breaker, and a small travertine patio extension built for the hot tub. When we first came into the store, Henry was so thorough in his explanation of the different features of the spa we were interested in purchasing. The electrician (Nick) and the landscape person who installed our patio extension(Jose) who were recommended to us by Henry and Jeremy were also terrific. Once we had the spa delivered, I had some questions about some of the features of the tub, chemicals, as well as a small issue with one of the diverters that was leaking. I drove over to Southwest Spa to speak to someone in person, and Jeremy was kind enough to take the time to answer my questions, and also instructed me how to fix the diverter leak when I got home, and it worked perfectly after that. Easy-peasy! Having our own spa at our home has been on my husband and my bucket list for YEARS. We are so happy we were finally able to make it happen with the assistance of Southwest Spas!

He knew in minutes what I needed and supplied me the part. I discovered that I needed more parts to finish the jobs. I drove back and they helped me with the new parts and helped me install it at the store. Old fashion expertise and friendly people. I wish I lived closer. We did and it worked! Needed a few replacement parts and they had those too. Expensive but these parts are hard to find and we needed them. They were very helpful! We won't go anywhere else.

I called Pelican for a second opinion and rather than just push new hardware, they did their due diligence to pinpoint the problem.They figured out that not enough power was being supplied to the pool panel and it ended being a bad breaker that was supplying too little voltage for the pump to operate. One new breaker later and I am back up and running. Thanks Pelican for being good people and not just pushing products.

The next day they said they're no longer a Marquis dealer, told us to contact the manufacturer, and refused to engage further. Over 2+ years, the spa was in reliable working condition for only about half the time. With inconsistent communication and repairs that didn't hold, we can't recommend this dealer. We're now pursuing a full warranty remedy with the manufacturer.

I confirmed that I wanted the $34,750 option, and asked him to send me a quote based on that package after measuring my backyard. I understood there would be some additional costs, such as excavation and fees for limited access through a standard residential gate that 99% of homes have which roughly adds 1-2k max. However, the final quote came in at $47,000--far exceeding the advertised package price. In my view, this felt like false advertising and was a major waste of time. I strongly encourage others to be cautious and do their research before committing. I needed to get my household goods out of their storage quickly to stop the situation from getting worse. Just-In Time Moving was gracious enough to fit me into their schedule last minute. Their office was communicative, their estimate was thorough and clear, and the final bill matched what they estimated. The crew showed up on time, communicated throughout the day, and was professional, careful, and kind. This was not a simple move. They had to unload my furniture and belongings from storage crates, unwrap items that had been wrapped by the prior mover, take care with everything, rewrap my furniture, load it, transport it, and unload it into my new storage unit. They completed the entire job in 7.5 hours. By comparison, the prior mover had tried to bill me 16.5 hours for the move into storage alone. Just-In Time Moving did a fantastic job, and I am extremely grateful they were willing to help me on short notice. After the experience I had before them, their professionalism, clear communication, and honest billing meant everything. My advice to anyone hiring movers: read all reviews carefully, do not take online ratings at face value, check whether the company is listed with moversaz.org, review BBB ratings, and read how the company responds to 1-star and 2-star reviews. From the first meeting, he was on time, focused, and genuinely cared about finding the best solution for us. What really impressed us was that he never acted like a salesperson -- no pressure, no upselling, just honest advice and real expertise. Another thing that stood out is that Hektor was hands-on throughout the entire project. He did the work himself with the help of his team, but he was clearly the one leading and making sure every detail was done right. He even came back to go over details in person and worked with us so we could pay for materials with our credit card, which made things so much easier to manage. Even when Phoenix had an unusual week of rain, he stayed in touch to make sure our materials were safe. Once the weather cleared, he showed up right on time, suggested raising the patio height (which turned out to be the best decision ever), and coordinated the stucco work so everything looked seamless. The patio turned out beautiful, and he followed up afterward to make sure we were completely happy. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I was delighted when ASP started doing…read moremy pool. Unfortunately after about four weeks the pool technician I had that was doing a great job was no longer doing my route. Someone new came out along with another person. It appeared the one person was a trainee. The CYA level in my pool had consistently been at 100 ppm. After two weeks of the new techs coming out, per their report they added 3lbs of shock. This caused my CYA level to jump to 300! Also, the following day after the shock was added it did not all disolve. There were two areas on pool floor that were approximately 24" in diameter with shock. This can stain the pebble tec per the owner of ASP. I took and brushed it to make the shock dissolve. It should be 50-80 ppm, but with our extreme temperatures 100 ppm is acceptable from what other pool owners have told me. With the CYA at 300 I asked Clint, the owner, what should be done? He said to keep an eye on it until July and if it was still high they could drain and refill pool. It is too hot in July to drain a Pebble Tec pool in fear of cracks so I wanted it drained immediately. I assumed that would be on them seeing they created the problem. He said no, it would cost me $475 for drain, refill and add chemicals! I was appalled to hear this. I rented a pump and drained it myself. I can see mistakes being made, but, to have a professional pool service not own up to their mistakes and putting the problem on the person using their service is unconscionable. I dropped their service immediately.

They came out, gave us a quote we were happy with and started the work on schedule. All of the work performed was done well and on time. The new vacuum, however, was a different story. First they took our old hose and attached it to the new vacuum and left it in the pool hoping I wouldn't notice. I sent a text to the tech and asked where the box for the vacuum was with the new hose, instructions, warranty card and other attachments that the unit was sold with. He sent back a text saying that the vacuums don't come in a box with hoses, etc. and offered me a digital copy of the instructions (note that they also asked to take my old vacuum off of my hands for me too which I'm guessing they rebuild and sell to unknowing customers as new) When I called the office they said that the owner would come out with a brand new unit the next day. While I did end up with the new eventually, the owner never came by to discuss. While the majority of the job they did was wonderful, the shady vacuum situation ruined our impression of the company as a whole.

He gave me a price and had his assistant call to set things up. Things seemed good. A person did come out on Memorial Day to get the pool draining - so that was good. The assistant emailed me a quote to approve that was a lot more than the owner quoted me. (He quoted me around $800. Side Note - I felt that was high also, but the owner shared what they would do - clean, clean the housing, replace the filters, and get it all balanced. It felt like they would really put a lot of effort and care into this, and, I needed it done so I gave the go.) When I asked the assistant about this, she said, "well, he didn't know what you had." I moved forward as I needed to do something. I asked, in email, if the inside of the filter housing would be cleaned - and she said yes. The gentleman came out. Very nice guy, but, it quickly became obvious that there was a major communication barrier. I asked if he was going to clean the inside of the filter housing. He said "Yes I'm going to change the filters." I tried to ask in different ways with no success. I gave up; and just watched. He only changed the filters. No rinse and certainly no chemicals. I immediately emailed the assistant again (the only way to talk with this company - they never answer the phone) - and she emailed back and said "oh, no, we don't do that." The gentleman started cleaning the pool. No power washing. No scrubbing. Just acid down the side and then trickled the garden hose after. He spent maybe a total of three working hours at my house. Maybe. And he was gone. During all this I was emailing insisting the owner or a supervisor come out, but I got emails back saying "the supervisor is too busy covering his route." Yes, another guy came back two days later after I had to put the hose in the pool to fill it (The three hour guy did not do that - again - communication barrier). I barely saw him on camera (He was here about twenty minutes) and never saw what he did, but he supposedly put chemicals in and "balanced things." A day and a half later my son said "dad, you know there are no tabs in the floater, right?" I would have thought they would do that! It makes me wonder what "the return guy" really did? So, for three hours and twenty minutes of work, yes, the pool was not green. Yes, they came on "Memorial Day" (but the assistant said "we have guys who want to work," She made it clear that this wasn't a "special favor.") and yes, I did get my filters changed. I was charged $1,100. Later, without me asking, they did reduce the bill to $978. Still feels really steep. With reliving all of this, I want to reduce my review to "1 Star," but I did get a clean, no longer green pool." So, 2 it is. My personal recommendation is you steer clear of this company. There are PLENTY of better alternatives.

Rather than listen to what issues there are she took offense that I was calling with service issues on work that her husband allegedly took care of. I will not be told F-YOU and hung up on because I asked to speak with her husband and not her as I was getting nowhere with her on the phone. This after she lied via email and over the phone about what was happening to fix the service errors for the brand new equipment which were supposed to be taken care of weeks prior by her husband but weren't. Bottom line is that there are many companies that you can chose from. Steer clear of this company because they lacked customer service, knowledge (his words were, "I don't know how to program your pentair pump you probably need additional equipment." Lack of knowledge equalled the need for more equipment HA!) and lack of follow through. Don't get nickeled and dimed by this company. Save the time and call someone else.
