Mike also wields a spatula in the kitchen. On a recommendation, I tried a "smashburger". Served on a brioche bun, it was excellent. Perfectly cooked w a nice charbroiled flavor. The bun did not fall apart, an important consideration when inhaling a burger. Fries were also excellent. Barmaid Mimi handled the crowd well. And there was a pretty decent crowd for a Tuesday night. It included a soup (or salad), 4 slices of California roll, two Shumai dumplings, three small vegetables, a big scoop of rice, and the tempuras - two shrimps, an onion ring, a broccoli floret and a sweet potato wedge. My order was a decent sized bowl of vegetable tofu soup ($4.50) and a Two Roll Maki Sushi Special (Salmon and Tuna Avocado) for $12.50. The rolls were appropriately "lunch sized" and were very good.
