We contacted Gabe with Pool Rehab to acid wash and clean the pool tile, which they did and it looked really good for such an old pool, with many issues. We also had the joints between cement slabs on pool decking refilled with mastic. All but one of the fills came out fine, the other , something wrong with the product used is suspected. Gabe came out and redid the fill and it looks like its going to be fine. Gabe stood behind his work, which we really appreciated. Needed some work done on our pool, and they gave free estimates. Jeremy came by right on schedule and we went over our options. He was very straightforward and honest so I felt comfortable continuing with the company. We ended up deciding to replace the tile and an acid wash since replastering wasn't in our budget yet. Although Jeremy and owner Gabe recommended, neither really tried to push us towards services we didn't want or sell us on anything. Tile samples were dropped off at our house for us to pick from, so that was nice. Work was started when promised and finished promptly. One down side was that we weren't aware that they don't do retiling (ever). Initially I was under the impression they were just busy so they were gonna subcontract our job. But that was made up for cause the company they used did a great job and left the pool and area around it spotless. Gabe came next day to do the wash, and he too was very honest and straightforward about the results to expect and condition our pool was in. Again, he made recommendations but I never felt like I was being pressured. We also ended up having their pool technician come out to clean and check out our "dysfunctional" filter and do the startup chemicals after we refilled. His name was Jeff, and although he ended up getting too busy with other jobs on the day he was scheduled to come, he made up for it by calling me twice day of to let me know of his status, coming promptly at the time promised the next day, and taking care of our filter issues for having kept me waiting the day before. Only other downside is there was a lot of back n forth to get papers emailed and what nots, but they are still pretty efficient and professional. read more

Jeff, the equipment technician, came to our home today to fix the spa heater. He texted the day before to request information on our equipment to make sure he brought the right parts, which he did. He showed up early and communicated this with us via text first. He fixed the issue quickly and left the broken parts to show he really did replace something. We originally contacted POOL REHAB because we needed our pool's tile cleaned and the plaster acid washed. When Gabe came out to look at our pool, he informed us that the plaster was fine and that it didn't need to be acid wash. Most companies would have taken your money either way. During the job walk, he was very knowledgeable and thoroughly explained the entire process. They managed to remove all the water marks and calcium stains off the tile and off the water descent. It looks almost as good as new considering it's an 11 years old pool. They cleaned up after themselves and left everything as it looked when they arrived. We couldn't be any happier. He gave his suggestions on what needed to be done as well as what other services they could do. You may enjoy a beer with this guy but hire Pool Rehab at your own risk. The workmanship is poor and sloppy. The owner, Gabe, seemed charming and friendly until the day of the installation. He is unprofessional and immature. For example, he blamed me when the pool work was started and he hadn't received a deposit from me. Prior to that day, he never asked me for deposit. I paid him cash for the full amount on the same day. Big mistake. One tile turned white after 10 days, there was thin set everywhere, the tiles are uneven, and there are rough corners on some edges. The pool cleaning equipment was put in the planter and left there, also splattered with thin set. Unknown to me, I was expected to refill and restart the pool. Gabe said I just needed to turn on the pool equipment. This was not the case and he became irritated and combative when I didn't know how to prime the pump to circulate the water through the equipment the next day. He didn't warrant the work provided by his workmen and never inspected the pool afterward. I asked for corrections. He told me to call the workmen direct, who was either late or didn't return calls. Gabe also informed me he "overcharged me because he knew I would be hard to please". That would explain why he couldn't remember any conversations about his pricing. At this point, I have to hire another company to fix my pool tile. Beware of hiring Pool Rehab company for pool tile replacement. read more

Gabe, nice guy but f... my tile job. They etched the tile surface and made it worse than before. There is no way to clean tile by "sand" blasting it and not hurting the tile surface. I am totally disappointed in Pool Rehab. Gabe apologize and did refund the money I paid him for the job but it cost me $1100 to replace the tile he worked on. I needed tile work on the pool side of my spa and Jeremy came out to give me a quote. It was very fair, 10 sq ft for $450.00 to take off old tile and replace. Jeremy matched the tile due to our 15 yr old tile was no longer sold. Tyler came at the appointed time to do the tile work and did a fantastic job. It took between 2-3 hrs to pull off the old tile, sand down the old cement and place the new tiles onto the spa wall. The tile Jeremy helped us pick was dead on for the rest of the tiles. Pool rehab is the best. Not only was our pool completely outdated, 90's old school pool with blue tile and white plaster. The plaster was starting to crack and tiles were breaking. The concrete around the pool was raising as well. We decided to update our pool by adding pebble tech and new tile along with stacked stone and redoing the concrete around the pool. We also decided to add a swim step since we have little toddlers. Gabe was so easy and helpful to work with. He met us at the pool store to help us pick out the tile and showed us different ideas of what would look good. Our pool was in dire need of some TLC. The rocks had faded , we had some tiles askew and grout was missing. We received a flier in the mail from Pool Rehab and decided to give them a call. Gabe answered , and was quite personable and professional. Two days later Jeremy was at our home, and took the time to explain exactly what we required.
