We had put off replacing one of our 500 watt pool lights as it included pulling a 100 foot cable through the conduit. Finally managed to get around to finding someone to do it. My weekly pool service did not feel comfortable doing it and recommended another service. They came out and gave me a bid but then disappeared. Looked in Yelp for a favorably reviewed service. I contacted Pool Pros via text and received an immediate response from Ramon. He knew what he was doing and understood the configuration of two lights, recommending we install the same wattage - which at 500 watts was higher than typical for a residential pool. Same price as the 300 watt others had recommended and would ensure both lights appeared the same. We considered LED but did not like the expense nor the spotlight nature (narrow dispersion) of the LED lights. Ramon was able to secure the correct light and scheduled for install the next day at a very reasonable price. Less than the previous bidder. Mimo (spelling?) and his helper arrived on time. Mimo was friendly and quickly understood the task at hand. The junction box for the lights is not in an especially accessible corner of the pool equipment shed. No problems. They were done in a bit over an hour. These guys are super easy to work with, and do quality professional work at a reasonable price. Very good at keeping chemical balances prefect and clearing out filters and and pump filters as required. They have also been good at taking special request. I have an unique pool in that its a deep in ground vinyl pool, so it has specific cleaning requirements and they were able to accommodate this and do excellent work. Just cancelled our service with them after 6 years of being a customer. Everything was going great until a month ago when our tech stopped showing up for weekly cleaning and chemical service. Called last week asking for an update and to have someone look at the pool pump as it is non-operational. Office employees were very friendly and said they would get someone out to service pool and look at pump...week later still had not seen tech or got a call back. Poo Pros Installed a new pump and filter systems at my pool about six month ago. Recently I noticed a leak the connection of the input hose to the booster pump. Pool Pros responded immediately and repaired the leak without charge even so the problem was with the in ground plumbing and was not covered by the warranty. read more

Pool Pros was quick to come out and help when I needed an overflow drain installed in my pool. My previous pool contractor had mistakenly removed our overflow drain during our remodel, and then wouldn't help us re-install one when we complained. Pool Pros' technician was very careful to make the installation look like it was part of the initial design of the pool. Even though I had only contracted with them to help install the drain in the side of the pool, they connected the drain to my yard drain, covered up the trench I had dug, and made sure it drained properly before they considered the job completed. They even sent another employee out to clean my pool after the work was complete, and it looks clear and sparkling! They went above and beyond the call and showed a level of customer service unrivaled by the dozens of contractors I've hired in my two recent complete home remodels.
