We were babysitting our 3 grandchildren for the weekend so they had a blast checking out the pond display and yard decor inside. The pond display has a few fish but the highlight was watching the turtle! We went outside and saw all the baby fish in the tanks and lots of pond and bog plants to choose from. We saw Sid who was working outside and we had a few questions for him. Sid was great! He was very helpful and kind, answered all of our questions and even offered up some suggestions! After we chose the plant we wanted, he carefully wrapped it up for the trip home. He made sure to tell us how to fertilize the plant and we bought some tablets to use in the future. We had a great experience!

Ah, yes Leslies does fit the bill. I would not classify coming here as "fun" as it is usually because something on the pool has broken down-but the staff here makes these visits much less painful. They also understand how expensive having a pool can be and listen when I say I can't fix it all at once. This is not a common stance. Have to give props to Ben-he helped me out with my filter grids today and was great. Told me which ones could probably last another summer and which I needed to replace now. He then switched them out and had me ready to go in about 10 minutes. Took the time to make sure I knew how much D.E. to use and was just a very helpful fellow. This is the kind of service I have come to expect at this location and why I highly recommend a visit if you have a pool and are in the area. Watch for their flyers in the mail-they have some awesome sales from time to time.

When we dropped off our cleaner the manager told us we need to upgrade to a newer cleaner. We asked him if he would just repair the one we had. He took the cleaner and called a few days later saying he cleaned all of the grit out of it and it was working properly. Immediately, we could tell when we place the cleaner back in the pool that they had not done anything to fix the problem. Several days later, we brought the cleaner back to the store. My husband walked in with it and the manager began yelling and screaming at him. He said that it is our fault the cleaner does not work and we needed to buy a new cleaner from him that was more expensive. He refused to service the warranty on the cleaner. He was extremely abrasive. My husband walked out of the store feeling like the guy had wanted to pick a fist fight with him. I have never received such poor customer service in my life. Under no circumstances would I ever buy a product from their store hoping they would service or repair it if something were to go wrong. He was unprofessional, he lied to us about repairing the broken part, and then yelled at us when we brought the cleaner back. I only wish I had gotten his name.

Summerhill Pools is simply the BEST! Long review short; if you are reading this and in the market…read morefor a pool, choose Summerhill. You will thank yourself. You will love them! Long review long; We recently bought a 100 year old house in Dallas and wanted a pool (how do people live here without one?), though we weren't sure how possible that would be in a smaller yard with a centuries worth of Dallas utilities buried throughout it. We (like you probably are right now....) did our research and reached out to about a dozen pool companies. Most we found online but, in addition to their great online reviews, Summerhill was referred to us by a friend; always a good sign. Some companies didn't even reply as I'm sure they weren't up to the challenge of putting a salt water pool oasis in the back yard of a 100 year old craftsman. Others came out and had their own ideas of what we should do. Bryce, fromSummerhill, came out and listened to what we wanted, added his own expert knowledge and came up with an amazing design that combined all of it. The bid process alone was impressive, compared to others and, while they weren't the cheapest, they weren't the most expensive either. We knew, if we were going to go all in, we were going to do it with Summerhill. Probably the best decision we've made at this old house! Fast forward a few months and Jacob, our project manager, and his team at Summerhill transformed our run down, old Dallas backyard into a spectacular salt water pool oasis that we are able to enjoy year round. The pool view alone from my kitchen window would be worthy, but nothing is better than lounging on the pool ledge, quiet night swimming in the deep end, or dunking our 12 year old son in a fierce game of pool basketball. It is perfect and all because we chose Summerhill. If you are reading this, choose Summerhill. You will thank yourself. You will love them!!!

They built a travertine patio in the backyard, hardscaped side yards with pavers and rocks, added a mulch bed to my side yard, and rebuilt a retaining wall. The project manager (Amanda) and owner (Giancarlo) were both professional, helpful and available throughout the entire process. They were also able to accommodate additional projects at the last minute, including adding a French drain system to one of the side yards. Everyone involved was committed to making us 100% happy with the end product, whether that meant changing out chipped travertine tiles, recommending different design options, or making several trips to the worksite to plan out project details and ensure everything was 100% up to par. I would definitely recommend!

Instead of trying to fix a faulty landscaping job, Giancarlo Medrano, responded with homophobic and profanity laced texts detailing how he would confront me, has a gun and threatened to send "his people" over. He also proceeded to label the house that he worked on (a rental property that I manage) as "cheap" and then goes on to brag about his rental property. He seemed so extremely proud about his financed house. Anyway, I had blocked his phone number after the incident but could see more of his texts through my old Apple ID. In these texts, he went from playing Mister Tough Guy to the victim and claimed that I had been the one who harassed and threatened to kill him and claims to have made police and FBI reports. A complete 180 and a testament to his character. What a quality guy. If you run into any problems with his work, be prepared for a load of excuses and insults. Summary of communications via phone calls and texts: *Half year of receiving the run-around (ie. Too busy, out of town, admin forgot to get back to me, blamed others, etc.) to fix the flowerbeds and add the missing drain holes *After many months passed thinking that Giancarlo was working to schedule in a fix, he started blaming the situation on his cousin. He then suggested that I pay a small amount, to which I found agreeable, for the flowerbeds to be fixed. Now he claims that I wanted a free fix... go figure. *I warned Giancarlo about the consequences for not taking ownership of this situation. Gave plenty of opportunities to fix before posting a review that seemed to upset him. *Giancarlo continues to claim that I own the home despite me explaining over the phone that I wasn't the owner and that I just there to help manage the property. *Giancarlo threaten to sue me. I gave him my lawyer's contact and I have yet to receive any contact attempts. *Giancarlo claims that I would be contacted by the police and FBI. I have yet to receive any contact attempts. In conclusion, I can't say that I would recommend doing business with an egotistical owner who tries to gip you at every corner, changes stories and takes no responsibility. But, don't take my word for it. Dig in the yelp reviews to see hidden reviews from others.
