I had the unfortunate pleasure of hiring these guys to do my pool. I had so many issues and they never got my permit. Per the plans they were supposed to put rebar in the coping and fails to do so now my swim up bar top is cracking and about to break. We got quotes from a couple of pool builders but pool elements always followed up and was able to answer all of our question and concerns. We got a virtual design and the completed project does not disappoint. They listened to everything we wanted and made it reality. We started in September and finished in January. It took 8 months because of Covid. That's understandable. However the company piled hills of dirt all over personal property and plants. They did not lay down plastic to protect the white stucco of the home that left over 40 feet of rust stains. All along I was told it would be cleaned at the end of pool finish. I have several text messages stating this. However, as soon as they received final payment owner communicates they are not responsible for any damage. Workers poured mounds of concrete into my front yard with no clean up. The customer service is terrible. I'm left hiring someone to clean or paint my stucco that was perfect before they entered the backyard. Having a pool put in should not damage your existing home with the company taking zero responsibility. Now I'll have to go to court for reimbursement. Also they will ruin every sprinkler head in your yard and the contract states they are not responsible. read more

Levi's team installed the pool within the last 7months, but our heater went out due to some type of malfunction on the way it was installed with other parts of our pool equipment. After many phone calls and text, Levi got pentair to replace the heater. The heater than was installed by Levi team, after they fixed the heater, the pool lights stopped working. We asked Levi multiple times to fix the pool lights since they stopped working after he installed the new heater. Then we got the response below back from him: I understand. Unfortunately I am in the middle of a dissolution of the corporation, Justin (ex-partner) & he being the license holder of the company has disassociated himself from the license and we have mutually decided to close down the company. I cannot send out any more crews or labor to any more jobs, as each outgoing invoice and payment is under strict review from both the personal attorneys, as well as our corporate attorney who is representing Brisco's Pools. The customers are more than welcome to reach out to Pentair directly, and let them know their equipment set is still fully under warranty as they are not past the 3 year mark. Pentair and all its products are warrantied for 3 years directly between the customer and Pentair. They just simply state to Pentair that everything was working and installed to code, and signed off on final inspection, however now their lights are shorting out. Pool Element has left my mother's pool halfway completed for the past few months with ZERO progress. Of course their excuse is COVID and they don't have workers, which did not make sense to me since they took the contract only a few months ago with a very good understanding of what their work capacity would be due to limited personnel. As a contractor myself I know exactly what Levi and Justin are doing. They are starting and continuing other projects while putting off mine in order to keep signing new business. Unfortunately this practice is very common with sub contractors, especially if the home owner is nice and forgiving, which my mother is. Unfortunately niceness and understanding does not get you far in business. It gets you taken advantage of. It is infuriating when sub contractors do this because it reflects bad on all of us however I am significantly more livid when its is being done to my mother, who is the sweetest lady in the world and does not have a confrontational bone in her body. This company has left multiple trash piles surrounding the unfinished pool with exposed stakes and re-bar with no safety caps. When I brought this to his attention he said that since the re-bar is in dirt it doesn't need to be capped and is not dangerous some how. Whether rebar is in dirt or concrete, having exposed re bar protruding from the surface grade is ABSOLUTELY dangerous (and a code violation), especially when small children and animals live at the property. Another condescending thing Justin said to me was that its ok that he has not had progress and left a dangerous site and trash everywhere because the "pool area" is considered a construction site and should not have any traffic. Apparently Justin does not understand construction sites are fenced off and his pool failed to even use a cordova safety fence, which is about $36 per 100ft. He then accused my of letting my kids play around his unfinished pool and exposed rebar and that was some how why I wanted this dangerous job site brought to professional standards. I have had pool contractors in the Coachella Valley that barely speak any English perform significantly better than Pool Element has performed thus far. TLDR: Typical sub who is confident at start then fails to show up for weeks at a time then blames elements out of their control. Amateur hour with this company and unless you are a professional builder and know how to handle subs like this, it is my advise you look elsewhere for pool contracting in the Sothern California area, especially as a casual home owner. read more
