Number 1 proximity to the park, we didn't want to be exhausted from a long day of hiking only to have to drive a long way to call it a night. But this Villa was awesome! Located right in the park there was a nice convenient place to relax at night after a long day of being outside. Number 2 was that there were so many things to do in the park we were never left wondering where we wanted to go or what we wanted to do. Ron who rented us the cabin was so helpful and pointed us in the direction of some maps, the waterfall, and even a cool abandon old Castle that was a short hike away. We are not one to hike very often, however this was a great place to getaway and unwind from the hustle of work. So if you are not planning a beach vacation and are looking to mix it up a bit maybe a cabin in the woods might be your thing this year.

My kids love going to Turner Falls more than going to the beach. The river is within walking distance to the cabins and it's so convenient. I love that the park is patrolled by police, it just makes you feel extra safe especially with having your kids with you. The owner of the cabins is such a nice guy, he is always there to help make your stay comfortable. I would definitely recommend staying here.

The furniture and beds are comfortable. The showers have lots of hot water. The kitchen is beautiful. We had our holiday meals there, and we able to accommodate fourteen people, with the very generous help of the owner, who actually brought us an extra folding table and chairs. She even put up Christmas decorations for us! Check-in and check-out were easy. This was our little home-away-from-home, and it was just wonderful.
