Only knock was no cable but WIFI worked well and I was able to stream NCAA final game without interruption. Most importantly, the park comped all of our nights here because we gamble. Contrasting that with the AVI in Bullhead City (I have also reviewed) makes this a 5 star rating- management clearly has a plan for treating customers and getting them to return at Winstar. I no longer hear all of the highway noise when trying to sleep and the owner does a great job keeping the community peaceful and maintained, which isn't easy to find with most long term parking. We rented two spots and they were side by side, which was a plus for the grandkids. Even though the weekend was rainy for more than 50% of the time, the kids still enjoyed it. My 6 yo grand-daughter loved the two slides down into the lake. We prefer RV sites at Lake Murray but would stay here again if no spots are available there. Truly the only downfall is that it backs up to I-35 and you have the highway noise. Otherwise it was a good, safe place for kids and dogs. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

It gives total nostalgic camping vibes -- but with way better comfort. Everything is clean, well thought out, and relaxing. If you're looking for something different for a date night, anniversary, girls trip, or just to unplug for a bit, this glamping spot is 100% worth it. Just to the north of Dallas, Texas just under a hundred miles, right near highway 35 lies this cute little airport. It is very close to the southern border of Oklahoma right near the Texas, Oklahoma border. After a tough week, I took a little adventure to the north of Dallas on highway 35 for a discovery/adventure trip. I had stopped and talked to some locals and found out a rumor of a fantastic catfish restaurant, that some folks would fly into the small airport and wonder over for their catfish! Now that seems like it must be some damn good catfish to me! It must be in how fresh the fish must be and the breading! Ok, so I was on adventure to learn more. I found this little airport where they would fly into and boy is it small! The restaurant for this fantastic catfish is known as McGehee Catfish Resturant and has high marks with Yelp so far! A four out of five with currently 25 reviews, but who else knows about this hidden gem that even pilots are willing to fly into this little airport for fresh catfish. Pool Cabanas are really nice. Nice to have your own personal cabana server. Most importantly, it's…read moreawesome to know that you have your own personal space that you don't have to fight a crowd for. We have taken advantage of the cabana twice. The first time, we were really pleased. The only downfall was that when the sun was really beaming, I guess the heat and humidity caused the smell of urine. I guess you have people that just close up the cabana (cabana #1) and urinate at the back of the cabana. The second time we figure we would try it a cabana reservation. Some things just need to be given another try. AGAIN, cabana #2 also reeked urine. Then we saw that they really don't clean the cabanas. They just restock them for the next use. Suggestion to employees, PLEASE.... clean and I know it may sound crazy, but mopping all around and underneath the sectionals should help tremendously.
